Update made it useless
This was absolutely one of my favorite apps before the recent update. It was perfect for me as a revert to have the spoken Arabic to listen to and the English translation directly underneath to read. You could play the entire prayer at once, and it included reading the chapters of the Quran. Now the redesign removed the chapters from the audio and translation. You have to swipe to get to the next section of the prayer instead of continuously reading. The translation is different. So unbelievably frustrating by this. Seriously feel like my ability to pray has been severely hampered. It was such a perfect app, I don’t understand any of the new design choices. Seems like they didn’t to any beta testing or research as to what users liked about it old version. It’s no longer useful to me and I can’t find another app that worked the way this one did before it’s update.

I do not speak Arabic and with the tutorial and slower paced salat, I am understanding better. I learned my prayers in English when I converted to Islam. Overall this site is great, just don't know French very well either. Thank you!

Missing some useful features
1. Having an auto scroll through prayer steps would help me as a new convert to focus on the prayer and constant interruption to swipe.2. Arabic pronunciation under the English would help with memorizing in Arabic as I learn3. A captioned video that plays through the full prayer would help as I memorize prayers and gain the confidence to not rely on tools
Some bug issues
I’ve experienced issues with the Azaan not playing since i connected my Apple Watch. Azaan plays only sporadically.I’ve also experienced that the Azaan does not play when I have multiple apps open- or the Azaan stops playing when I unlock my phone or open another app.I have the premium version and would love it if the developers addressed these issues.
Great App For Those Learning How To Pray
This app has made so many improvements from when I tried using it 2 years ago. I do suggest that they add a English transliteration of the 3 Surahs because I have to go back into another app to be able to recite them in English. JazakAllah for improving the app.
This app has really helped me memorize salat
I have used this app for weeks and now I’m starting to memorize salat unfortunately I still mix up words or make a mistake but I’m getting better. Great for reverts and born Muslims and whoever else wants to learn salat.
No more videos?
Hello, this has been my favorite app for ever, I always use the videos to pray along with. Ever since the update I have been struggling. please. I always donate to the app and get premium version. The new update doesn’t have videos. It was the only app that did. Please bring it back as my motivation to pray isn’t what it used to be since I’m having a hard time remembering the steps. Jazakumallah
Great for new converts!
As an adult convert whose primary language is English, I really appreciate how I can go step, by step with what is said written out, as well as English translation. My favorite function is the ability to either have a full video play the prayer as you follow along or you can play audio of each section. I think this helps with learning the pronunciation and later I am able to read along with the written words.Also, since there is video and text, can be used by either persons with visual or hearing impairments.I like the look and ease of use and there are explanations of each prayer and the sunnah options as well. Plus they have special prayers for holidays.Overall, highly recommend for someone needing to learn their Islamic prayers or getting back into practice.
Fantastic app for new Muslims
This is a fantastic app for New Muslims, as it goes through the performance of each prayer set by step with transliteration of the Arabic and an English translation if one needs it for understanding. It's just basic enough without being too complicated. One should be comfortable in performing Salat with this app. 😇
