Great app highly recommend it

At first I was skeptical because I hadn’t heard of Karrot before but it’s such a fun and easy to use app. I love the simplicity of it, it’s so practical and the Karrot staff is incredibly helpful and kind. I definitely recommend this app to others who are also new to it~!

Not Functional At All

I would like to use the app, but every time I try to sign up, it says that it “can’t access my location” and to “try again later”. However, every time I “try again later”, it delivers the same message. I’ve turned on and off my location service, deleted and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone, etc. Nothing. If this is an issue that can be troubleshooted, then I would still be totally open to using the app. But for now, I have to delete it.

Recently malfunctioned

There was a glitch in the app recently where is asked me to restart from the beginning, where I had to select my neighborhood. However, no matter how many times I tired, it wouldn’t let me get past the second page.. also the neighborhoods listed were only those in the UK. I closed the app several times tried it again but to no avail. The only solution was to uninstall, and reinstall the app. This was very frustrating because my entire selling history was lost as well as contacts for an item I was selling.

It’s my phone not the app necessarily

Hi I only rated one star bcuz I can’t rate what I can’t use. I have an iPhone with a hairline crack on the screen that somehow managed to make it impossible to use apps that have that stinking pop up to don’t allow or allow something in the middle of the screen that will not go away unless you choose an option. Ok, now, I have run into this problem before and i put a suggestion in the rating section of the app and next thing ya k ow, it was fixed, so that’s why I’m doing this. I’ll change it later if I’m able to use Karrot so don’t worry. Anywho, my touch screen has about a 1 inch area straight across it that is no longer receptive to touch. That being said, when I am able to continuously turn my phone between portrait and landscape modes, I can get around it. It affects the keyboard too so it definitely makes things difficult and makes everything take longer. It’s very frustrating and I know it isn’t your fault but please make your app have the ability to change orientation freely and make my life easier so I can use your app and give it a better rating! Thanks

What goes around comes around

Nice site, though a few people are not necessarily honest with their product they want to get rid of however majority of people including who just “donates” are incredibly thoughtful and kind! Thanks Karrot and thx to all who understand “product(s)” can outlive human when used with care and when shared!!!!

Great but

I have used the app pretty well until someone started to harass me with strange messages at night. Definitely that person was not interested in my stuffs but to meet with me for a date. I was freaked out and canceled my account. I never imagined someone would take advantage of the app to look for a prey. The app should be redesigned to be used as purchases and selling only.

Easy peasy

Had a good experience on this site. Liked that I don’t have to ship product because it’s for locals in the neighborhood. Easy online communication (although I wish I did I got a “notification” mark on the app when I had a msg). Also like that payment is cash or venmo (or another online payment that you agree upon with buyer)

awful costumer service, no protection for the sellers

I got restricted twice for ridiculous reasons, and the costumer service here is seriously awful. They have no rules to protect the sellers, but responds only for the reports. I sold more than 40 stuffs here, and took me a long time to make my temperature over 40. Now it's back to average 36.5, only bc I talk bad to someone who made me wait for hours, and gone right before the appointment she made. I didn't talk bad at that point either, she blamed me for waiting for her, and she talk bad to me too, then I responded. But Carrot gave me 7 days restrictions and lowered my temperature. As more I sell here, I meet more of these ppl, and Carrot have nothing to protect the sellers and the customer service do nothing to mediate and let the seller off depends on the situations. Also they would not answer fully with their responsibility, they will just answer partly so they dont have to do anything with it.
