Love the voice over feature
It is nice to be able to listen to the books and save my eyes. The reading sounds human enough. There are some bugs that need improvement though. Some characters with multiple pronunciation would handle the incorrectly. And some times it would even jump to different book.
The new & updated version is horrible!
After the update, my reading list just stuck. It kept saying it’s updated, but the list just stayed the same. It should automatically update with the books that have new chapters, but no. It just stuck. Now when i try to read, I have to go down the list and do treasure hunt. It’s very very very annoying.
Awesome
As a person who spends most of her free time reading stories on the phone and who loves JJWXC, this app is perfect for me. I also really enjoy the discount that the app offers when purchasing chapters.
Overall Ok
But when are you going to make it to memorized how far we go on a book over clouds so I don’t have to flip through my phones or iPad to figure out what chapter I’m at when I change a device? Most of other reading apps all have this feature already. And also really wish you to make upgrade your UI design...
40% more expensive than web
It takes 40% more cut if you use iPhone app instead of mobile web. I honestly don’t understand why would they do it because it pushes tons of users away for sure.The app is also poorly written that I couldn’t even edit my nickname or search for books using traditional Chinese.
Error if the new version update
Love the novels but new version keep showing up “ The chapter content has been updated and the replacement is successful” EVERY CHAPTER, pretty annoying
DO NOT SUPPORT THIS APP
After this update，writers need to pay to fix their novel！！ pay to change their novel！！This website take 50% profit from writers but still wants more，you guys can make profit because of those writers willing to publish their novels，they can still write without you，can you continue without those writers？？？？
It will be better, if there is a horizontal view.
I usually use this app with iPad. Because the font is larger and better to protect my eyes. However, iPad is not easier to hold. Therefore, if I can use this app horizontally, it will be great. Hope there is a improvement of this issue.
Good tip to know
If you are someone who needs a little help navigating JJWXC I recommend that you search up a guide online and read that before you do something like commenting on the authors stuff. It’s also helpful to figure out how to support your fav writer if u don’t want to pay but wanna support.
