Good piece of equipment!
It works well, but I had to troubleshoot the device because for 30 minutes after I downloaded the software, it it just kept saying “searching”. Then I removed the I Phone adapter that came with the product and plugged in an official I phone USB adapter to the device instead of the third party adapter, and it immediately began working . So if you are having that problem then simply find an official I Phone uSB plug adapter, and it will work. Holpe that helpsSomeone who is frustrated with the device not working at first.

I don’t know why people are having trouble with this. After receiving it I had it working in couple of minutes with both my iPhone and iPad and it works great! I was able to see my eardrum in both ears in very high-quality and take pictures. Super easy to use and set up.
Fix your App please!!!
Quick review. The person who said they couldn’t get a clear picture probably wasn’t used to the shallow depth of field you get with a device like this. It is great for inspecting hard to reach areas and the dimmable light is a nice feature. Pros: it works well for the price point. Cons: Lots! The video is glitchy and freezes quite often. The files are a custom .avi format which makes them large and incompatible with many software programs. Videos and pics can’t be saved to the camera roll on your phone. What??Last but not least when I even try to view a video it rotates the screen and moves the video to the bottom corner mostly off the screen. It is SUPER annoying. I have never given a 1 star review and probably would have given this a sold 4-star review if the app was even 1/2 way decent, but it is not. Oh and I forgot this thing devours power. Even though it has a rechargeable battery, you burn through it in about 10 minutes of continuous use. Note to app developer - you can fix all of these issues and have happy customers. All I wanted was a way to inspect some electronic parts and text pics to clients. Shouldn’t be next to impossible.
“Searching”
This device will not work and is stuck in searching mode. Not my problem to troubleshoot. Junk product with worse software and horrible support.
Works good
Works fine for us. Some reviews say blurry, but its not. Its very clear for up close as designed for in the ear. Some reviews say it only saves pics to device not the phone. You can change that in settings in the app. i used on an iphone 8
Can’t Export Videos
The app is pretty simple and works well with my endoscope. It does have one major bug, however. The images and video isn’t stored in your camera roll, but in the app. If you try to export any images or video from the app, it crashes. This limits the usefulness of the app and endoscope significantly.
Great little device
This thing is amazing for what it is. $40 to look in my ears without having to go to the doctor. Maybe the issues from previous reviewer are fixed, I didn’t have them. Saved fine to my iPhone camera roll.

I was skeptical about buying this device after seeing bad reviews about the device itself and this app but, I decided to give it a chance and I’m glad I did.. The device and app work just fine. I think a lot of what people are having issues with is the connection and that’s easily fixed by not using the usb cord that comes with the device
Good for price
With regard to other reviews who say that the app is stuck “searching”...be sure the plug is in completely and you will hear a beep. I had to reseat it a few times until it was fully in and then it worked fine.Image quality is good but you have to adjust brightness and go in the ear far enough to be in focus, and have your angle right.My one complaint is I can only view the saved images in the app. I can’t find the files on the phone to upload to my EMR like I can if they were saved with cell phone camera photos.Update: changed to 4 stars. The files do save in the photo section of phone. There was just a delay before they started arriving there. Maybe the app needed to be closed once after I took the pictures?
Stopped working.
My sister got my this cool gadget so I can look into my kids ears for infections. It worked great initially but then the app couldn’t find the camera anymore and it appears like it is trying to download the app. I’ve only used it a few times. It’s a bummer because it worked well when it was working.
