A dummy’s guide to email tracking

I knocked off a star because the “share” feature (with short link) does not work anymore. Otherwise, everything else in app works great, even the free version. It shows more details then similar products, such as full user agent (iPad version only) or geographic description of the source IP (and yes, it shows the IP address too). That last bit saves you a manual Whois lookup of the source IP just to figure out where in the world the user is.Why does it show California when you know the user is in another state? Because the user that “opened” your email is using Gmail or similar webmail or custom mail client/app, and those mail servers (in California) process the embedded images then serve them to the user. It’s why some people don’t like Gmail and other web-based email since it is difficult to turn off web beacons, canaries, web bugs, whatever you want to call marketing tracking techniques.Fun fact: Gmail triggers embedded trackers when you load your inbox, even before you open the specific message. So marketing (and spammers) know the recipient email is legit. If the recipient opens the email in the iOS native mail client and they allow loading of embedded images (off by default on my iPhone...maybe that was a custom setting I chose) then it will trigger the web beacon placed by iTrackMail, and you will see the person’s actual IP address (i.e. their ISP router eternal interface).

Top notch service

I am really delighted i eventually found a real competent hacker, I Never knew that my husband had a child out of wedlock without informing me about it for almost 15 years of our marriage, until i noticed he picks strange calls on his Iphone and send some money to a strange person. All my gratitude goes to this Genuine Genius IT Expert hackspycyber @ gmail, com who got to hack his Iphone completely to the extent that i had a clone of his phone and could read all his whats-app, Facebook messages, call logs, text messages, and his exact GPS location. I’m really grateful for this great experience.

Need to Fix

I bought this app “pro version”. I send the email I wanted tracked- awesome it worked.. the app then showed it had been opened several more times. I went to my “sent” emails to reread the email- it counted as me reading it.. so now every time I Open my email (not the actual email being tracked) it shows it’s been read Again.. so now I’m wondering if the person I sent the tracked email to is even reading it several times or are they just opening their regular email like I am..??!! ALSO- I selected to get notifications when the email is read, that doesn’t work either- I literally have to open the iTrackMail app to see if it’s read. Please FIX This..

Not working any more

If this was before I did the upgrade I would’ve given you five stars. But I upgraded it and it has not worked since then. And how do I know it’s not working is that if I open up one of my emails that I have sent it will tell me that somebody in California read the email. And it’s not doing that anymore so I have three unread emails that I’ve been waiting on I know they’ve probably been open but I can’t say that they’ve been open because it’s not working anymore and on top of that I have sent three support emails to the company and I’m getting no responses. So 3 stars

Junk and waste of money

Got this to use to track, including ip-address for business ... it only shows California. No other info. Garbage!!!!! Wasted money. I can’t believe people can sell app’s that are Scams like this one! I will definitely be disputing this with my bank as you all should. It’s suggested that it provides the IP address, location, state and city, everything I’ve never tried to track shows unknown, Or California. I have no idea who is opening my emails I’ve been sending but this is ridiculous. Do not waste your money at all. The only thing it tracks is when you open an email that you’ve already sent to someone else.

Excellent really good n great 👍

Smartphone can be really beguiling. There are so many apps and worth not that promise awesome results if you can just get hold of your spouse’s device. This has always been a huge limitation for me as I’ve always wanted to see everything in my spouse’s device without getting hold of her phone or her finding out. She began acting suspicious and being all secretive and I decided that something drastic had to be done. Thank God, faz came my way after checking through positive reviews , how he helped a woman catch her cheating husband red handed.I reached him via his mail at Flashcyberspy (@) gmailcom and he requested for certain info such as my spouses phone number and phone model. Within hrs I got a notification popped up on my phone it was from Faz. he gave me a spy link which I accessed with my phone web browser there I was able to see all of her texts, call logs, WhatsApp, Snapchat, deleted conversation, social media shared pictures and videos etc as if I got her phone in my palms. It’s really a great opportunity to use the services of Flashcyberspy (@) gmailcom, if you got similar issues right now I’ll strongly advice you write him for an excellent spying and tracking services. This is the most highly recommended and genuine services that works efficiently than the spy apps.

Calms me

I have been using this iTrackMail for a few months. My oldest grandson ran away from home and family. He has not made any contact with us. It breaks our hearts. He has ADHD and easily per swayed. He met a woman that is twice his age. He is 26. He left with her and she is controlling him. This is the only way I know that he is reading my messages. It calms my heart to know he is still here. It’s been a couple of years since we have seen him or heard from him. I know he is reading my messages through this site. I’m so thankful for the makers of it. I’m 72 and I worry so much about him.

Basic.

But almost to basic. As in nothing really going on. If your email isn’t setup in your phone it doesn’t prompt you to let you know. It just tells you to compose and then goes no where. But anyhow. The main reason I’m leaving the review is the tracker in the image. If the app or wherever the reader is opening the incoming doesn’t open images automatically. then can still read without you knowing. Say if they have images auto downloaded you are now pretty much compromised if you are trying to be stealth. Maybe in the pro version you get an option to change the tracker image to something less obvious. Then maybe you’d be good to go. Still a decent app to help someone desperate or someone who doesn’t care I guess.

😡stopped working!

Update: Stopped working completely! Not tracking at all. Also inserts “This email sent by itrackmail” in every email even though I have purchased the upgrade. Found a better app.Update: The notifications are working again! Maybe it was an Apple issue? Original review: This app used to notify you each time an email was opened. Now you must open the app to see if the email has been read. I liked the old way better. Maybe they could make the notification optional? If it gave a notification when opened, it would be 5 stars!

Crazy

I upgraded to pro, the email no longer says it is being tracked, that’s great! The problem is as soon as I open my email page, not even opening the email itself it gives me a notification that my email has been read! That isn’t correct! Then the person I’m sending it to are they really reading it or just opening their email page and it’s saying it’s been read! So I don’t even know if it was read or when it was read, and the locations are all the same if I open my email or if it comes from the other person! So I know there are problems
