2 Year Straight F2P Player btw

I’ve been playing this game for over 2 years straight, every day almost every hour logging in. Its the best Mobile Game for mecha fans out there without a doubt. Intense PvE and PvP endgame activities. Multiple collaborations with your favorite mecha series ranging from sleepers like IceyX to most popular like Gurren Lagen (Except for Ultraman, Cowboy Bebop and Gridman for global server, thank netflix) loving game devs and communities that help you out regardless of the server you’re on because we are all mecha fans. As a F2P Player the grind is harder but not impossible. Even P2W players will have trouble with endgame activities. It’ll start off slow but you’ll be raining in mechs, pilots and other stuff once you dedicate your time into the game. I’ve heard Iphone/Pad has trouble server wise but once the updates are downloaded and whatnot, you’ll be running smooth. Any questions or concerns don’t be afraid to join their discord and ask!! Veteran players will always be there to help out. Even the Top 100 PvP players will be there

Bruh.

I’ve been playing this game for over a year now and do not put this game down. The fact that this is a phone game and it’s this good is amazing! Sure the grind is really a GRIND when it comes to getting certain thing’s but to me that make it worth it. I play on iPhone and have never had a crash or anything even close, another solid thing about this game is that you can get EVERYTHING from the grind. You don’t have to pay for one thing as long as you play the game. The amount of mechs and pilots you can get, not to mention the pilots/mechs you can get from “events” is just outrageous there’s so many. Which leaves plenty of room for your team to be as unique as you’d like. All in all I love this game and would give the greater a big five on this. Btw I’m a real person haha

Great Mech Game

Very f2p friendly and quite enjoyable story. Characters are all unique and have lots of interaction. Mechs are plentiful and have great designs. Mechs beside gacha only are easy to get once you learn a bit more about the game and there’s plenty of freebies over time. This is a gacha game to a degree so if you want your favorite mechs it’ll take time saving up for 5 duplicates for max rank of it. There are multiple ways to get copies of most mechs so it isn’t too bad, even for premium gacha only mechs but takes time. If you do wish to be competitive in pvp f2p it’s possible but takes effort. Game has lots of ways to make your mech teams stronger by the trinity of upgrades: pilot, mech and parts equipped. Co-pilot equip at higher level adds a bit more variety on builds. Overall fun game to leisurely play or play consistently often.

I’d probably like the game a lot more - if I could actually PLAY it.

As a mecha fan, I was excited to play this despite not being into gacha or mobile games in general. The mecha designs, the character art, a musical score by Hiroyuki Sawano - everything about this seems right up my alley. Unfortunately, I can’t even complete the VERY FIRST MISSION without it CONSTANTLY crashing on me just before the end of it! I mean, EVERY TIME after I defeat the large tank-like ship and just before the next dialogue string after that, the screen always goes black and I’m back to my home screen. I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times but that didn’t do anything and I still have 9.6 GB of storage left on this device. I’m currently running it on an iPad mini 2 with iOS 12.4.4, which I guess is kind of old by now, so maybe that has something to do with it? Anyway, if I was actually able to play more of the game, I’d probably enjoy it so much more. If there’s any other way for me to resolve this issue so I CAN play it, PLEASE help me out.

An Amazing Game!

This game starts with a fluid, easy to follow tutorial for new players. The characters talk with you through interactions. Such as when you touch them. At every section of the game, there is music to accompaniment. You can change the music to the one that you like. The characters have a function called Live 2D, so it makes the characters look more realistic. I wish I could control the mecha during battles with a omni-directional joystick. Since the mech moves by itself, and the only thing you can do is to drag your finger from the mech to a point on the screen to dash and to prioritize targets. The downside to the game currently is the dialogue during cut-scenes. Where you see characters talking to one another. There isn't much background information that eases you into it's direct story. The characters are fun to play around with, but I wish you can have a conversation with them like in Z-Girls.

Amazing mech collector with waifus

Mech collecting was amazing. Drop rates seem very rough sometimes although I have collected some main drops. Waifu collecting is nice although I have done a 10 summon with no pilots acquired and you get nothing good if it isn’t a pilot. With mech summon you at least work towards a selector with each summon. Gameplay was good, Pilots and Mechs have diverse passives and skills, and gears can be unique. This game will have you collect many duplicates to upgrade a unit though. Also the game requires a lot of patience. You need to collect materials daily for upgrading. Sadly taking 2 points off because game cant seem to run well on my Iphone 6. I’ve had at least 150 crashes in total and have decided I’m done with it since I cant even go through the menu screen sometimes or use strong units because their attacks breaks my game. I had spent a good amount of real cash and havent even been able to get my wanted mech either.

Having an absolute blast!!

I was taking time to read the other reviews and I can agree that the translation is the only thing that is problematic thing to me HOWEVER it’s not that bad and even if it could use some work, it’s definitely not ruining the game for me.And yes there’s p2w aspects but that’s how it is with any gacha esp with those that have pvp elements. But even with that said, I can see f2p players having a great time with this as there’s features such as the shard and cafe systems that exist to allow f2p to catch up with time, but it still allows them to keep up nonetheless which is all that matters.Anyways only a bit over a day into this game and I am having a blast. The music is great, the art for both pilots (and their casting choices) and mechas are AMAZING, the story is kinda interesting, and the gameplay is so satisfying albeit a little lacking as it’s like almost full auto, but when you get down to it all, the micromanagement is pretty intense and hectic that it truly feels like you’re commanding on a battlefield. I can see this getting insane later and I’m quite excited to see how later stages of the game and more difficult content challenges you.As a gacha gamer and mecha fan, I’m thoroughly impressed by this game and I have really high hopes for its future!

Didn’t think I’d love it but...

Very free to play friendly, although it does take TIME and some grinding. Completing chapters and getting all the stars grant massive in game premium currency and leveling up gives a lot too! Devs are generous and events are very free to play friendly! Battle pass gives the most bang for your buck and helps push you to get those OP banner mechs. DO NOT use pilot gatcha unless it’s the new player one where you’re guaranteed one of your three pilots you pick: recommend Slokai as one of them! Also the SSS vassago unit is very good later on in its plane form and future kai! Only con is that is can get very addicting and grinding rare mechs and parts can be a pain.I’d overall recommend this game to anybody and say it’s player friendly though you might want to check out Reddit for mech guides so you don’t feel you’re team is bad early game

Great visuals & music, bad tutorial and crashes

Just downloaded the game to my iPhone 6. It loads and starts playing, but even during the plot chats, I got lots of crashing. Oddly enough, I don’t lose any progress and I can log back in, but it’s intensely irritating and very frequent. Also, the tutorial is so bare bones as to not really show you how to play. It’s a brief text message of how to target (no visual cue) and then just ‘here’s a battle, go!’ It’s pretty clear the first scenarios are set to be ‘no lose’, but it’s still irritating. The mechanics for ‘tap to target, drag to move’ are not clearly shown. I do have to admit the music is very catchy and the graphics and battle animation are excellent for a mobile game. The nonsense plot is forgivable, but it’s the constant crashing and the horrible to nonexistent tutorial that made me knock off two stars. And the crashing will further make me hit delete, albeit reluctantly. I honestly wanted to like this one :(

Fun until you find out its paid to win

Once you progress to a certain point there’s no way to compete PVP without investing money. And that money will probably won’t get you the mecha/equipment you want because it’s all gacha with pretty low odds of you getting (think of 1%). So you’ll end up adding more money and continue to gamble to try getting what you want. But then everyone seems to be doing this so to get mechas completely upgraded to the max you need a full team of highly upgraded mechas in order to compete so to do that you’ll have to keep adding money. Same if there’s a pilot you want. Overall it’s given me many hours of entertainment, the collabs are cool but at the end if you’re thinking of getting into PVP which sometimes it’s forced in order to get other items from that store then you’ll have to gamble your money and hope to build a decent team otherwise it’s going to be very frustrating to be loosing to others that simply have added more money in order to win.
