Basically unbeatable if you didn’t make the game.

The rate you gain money is annoyingly slow. The Reaction Bar is OP for no reason. You could place your ideology down in a country and literally do nothing and in a couple months in-game you’ll notice the Reaction Bar start going up while at the same time you’ve probably gained about $30(+the $200 you start with). Granted this is all in hardcore but still when the Reaction Bar starts going you have less than a Month before End Game. And the reaction stoppers or whatever are useless. You could buy one for about $50 and it’ll bring down the Reaction Bar very slight but it shoots right back to where it was with no sigh of it slowing down.

Rip off

Literally a virus game with ideology slapped on as the title. Same mechanics,same purpose and way you lose. There is literally no variety here and beyond that the map is a joke. “Zoom in”ya right it’s so blurry you can barley see anything. Sloppy knock off that doesn’t even have good graphics. 0/10 do not recommend—Response to developerI appreciate your one of the only few game designers on the App Store who bothers to reply to customer feedback. However me not passing the first ideology is not the problem. The game play mechanics are identical to other games making it boring and even if that wasn’t the case the animation is still horrible which you didn’t address.

Great game

It’s a great game, just please nerf the reaction bar. Thank you for a game actually worth playing these days though. All this simple run and avoid enemy games are so short, but yours goes on for so much longer making it even more exiting.

Too underdeveloped

Don’t get me wrong this is probably the best clone of Plague Inc. but the execution is just awful. The game gives you four ideologies to work with and that’s pretty good compared to other clones, but the actual differences in game are minimal. The map doesn’t give out details of any region or country making you guess with your world knowledge on what country is considered rich, poor, weak and strong. The reaction meter also shoots up way too fast. “How fast?” you ask? You are given 3-5 minutes, if even that, to develop your ideology to your liking after that you have less than 10 minutes before the game makes you lose. The reaction bar increases way too fast for any sort of development past the initial 2-4 upgrades as the world becomes almost instantly aware of your ideology. You can try to reduce that meter, but they cost way too much and do very little compared to the bar increasing almost as quickly when you got rid of it. I enjoy this concept, in fact I love it, but it’s execution of the ideas and poor development leave me to write this. Oh and by the way I forgot to mention that in order to unlock the other ideologies you HAVE to beat the previous ones on MAXIMUM. If your having a hard time on normal, don’t even touch that as you were going to loose before you even chose you country.

Interesting game

I just completed the game. It’s not as difficult as it may seem to be. You should just try to implement different strategies. The only thing I didn’t understand are the news, do they have any effect on the game and what do different news colors mean? Would like to try freedom mode, but definitely not willing to pay for it. Overall 4/5.

Broken model

The rate at which Reaction speeds up doesn’t seem to correspond with game actions. I have been playing in Hard mode, so I can access other models, and building Appeal and waiting for the right moment to strike to cut Reaction dramatically. I did two actions that cut Reaction to less than 10% when you look at the progress bar, but my supporters count was dropping by 50% or higher and i was continuing to get pop ups about reaction being over 75%. Folks only trust a game as far as it can understand its internal logic. This game needs to go a lot farther in proving it is logical and fair.

Good game, a few technical issues.

Overall, I thought this game was pretty good. I would recommend it. I found the gameplay and mechanics to be cerebral , fun and compelling. The graphics and sound were fine. At the time of this review (May ‘23), there are two constructive criticisms that I have. The first is the internationalization has some issues, Russian strings seemed fine, English and Spanish had some mistranslations (didn’t check others). The other issue is there are a smattering of minor technical issues that don’t really affect the gameplay very much, but ideally wouldn’t be there: a couple of examples. There are a few places where there are numeric quantities, e.g., political saturation of India, that hit their max and flip back to zero… and a couple of places where there are memory leaks (a few times noticed start a new game, parameters from last game still set). YMMV depending on platform. Cheers! -NW

Unfinished Game

Not at all balanced, money is earned way to slow to the point that by the time i can even get my second community perk its already to late in the game for it to help me as im only earning $1.5 perSecond yet the global reaction is at 40-50%Not to mention lack of information when you tap a country

Fun, however

I’ve been playing for a bit and it seems like it can be a lot of fun, my only issue is with how quickly the reaction bar fills up, it’s very, very quick. Perhaps I’m just not playing it right, but for the rounds I’ve done the reaction bar is always rising super quickly and I can’t focus on anything else, and even when I buy all the things to slow it down, it’s not enough on normal difficulty. This game seems like it had a lot of potential though

Nye Impossible

I’ve been playing this game for a while, (recommended to me by a friend.) But, while this game is one of the better PI clones it’s mechanics and balancing need major improvements. Firstly, the game is well polished and is original in its idea. I have no issues with the game visually. But, the balancing in this game is terrible, for context. In order to unlock the next ideology you need to beat the previous one on the hardest difficulty. This wouldn’t be an issue if the reaction bar which, once filled up means game over. Rose faster than you could possibly develop your ideology. The reaction traits are ineffective and there’s virtually no way to progress unless you get lucky or figure out some strategy.
