Fun, engaging, no fuss!

Sooo, I have Covid. During the hour or so I’m awake I play apps on my iPad. I saw the ad for this game and I just had to try it because it reminds me of an extremely similar, that was a hotel time management game. I used to play it on my iPad first generation. However, this similar, updated version is so fun. It’s engaging, so far no glitches, and despite the ads and pop ups for in-app purchases, I love this game. It keeps me busy when I am awake, and keeps my mind off of being sick. I only took one star away because it forces you to use up your stars to decorate the room to move-on. I like to build up stars and then decorate all at once. Not possible in this game, but none-the-less, I can still advance to the next level without having to be forced to make any app purchases. That’s a sign of an honest app creator, and perfect for me. Happy playing to all!

A lot of ads and inappropriate ones too

Several commonly appearing ads are very sexual orientated. Two men kissing while one man rubs the others crotch or worse, It’s blurred out but obvious. While other ads have woman stripping off clothes or being sexual pressured by men during a job interview. (Lost a 1.5 star rating)The game is free which means you’ll have to watch ads and/or slow progress. This game uses ads. I spent about 25-30% of game play watching ads. My issue is not number of ads but length of ads. Most ads are 45+ seconds compared to most games that have 25-30 second ads. Some ads are optional but if you skip after completing a round one time you have to watch the ad next time you skip & don’t receive the bonus for watching the ad. (Length of ads & number of ads -1 star)Game is fun but once you get to level 4 the slow play and requires $ hits. I’ve watched every ad to double everything but the required number of gems is so high that you have to pay $ or you’ll never upgrade the items to continue. Fun & free 2-3 levels but gets $$ and repetitive by level 3-4. (-1 star for requiring $ or extreme amount of time) *can’t do 1/2 stars so rounded up to 3 because levels 1 & 2 are entertaining.

I love this game BUT I’m a bit disappointed

I’ve been enjoying this game every day for quite a while until yesterday. Yesterday while I was playing for a while I had to stop for a few minutes and when I was downloading it it continued to stop downloading at 55.1% … well, it’s a new day and I was hoping it was fixed and it is still not working. I was at the “space” level and got frustrated and deleted the app. I enjoyed the game so much BUT I hate to start all over again. I’m hoping you can correct this problem and start me back at the space level with the 500+ “gems” I had. PLEASE HELP. Thanks

Surprisingly addictive

I didn’t expect much from this game, but I actually am really hooked by the story, decorating and characters, and I love the gameplay (think diner dash style but for concierge services at a hotel) and especially love that I don’t have to do boring matching or merging to proceed with decorating and the storyline. I don’t mind spending some money on boosters and such either. I find the prices reasonable, no gouging and you do NOT have to purchase to win levels or achieve certain key items - ads can be a bit annoying but are mostly optional and the occasional one that slips in is mostly skippable.I wish however that I could revisit past hotels not just to look at them but to play additional levels just for fun or maybe play enough levels and get a small prize (booster or something). I miss playing at some of the locations more than others. I’m playing the space themed hotel right now and I love the theme, decor and music. I’m going to be sad to leave this location. But each level/location is pretty fun and they keep it interesting. Highly recommend giving this one a try.

Stopped earning stars and no game support!

This is a fun game but there are obviously many glitches. My game has stopped earning stars to get to next levels. I’ve reached out to support 3 times (each time taking 3-4 days for a response) When I do get a response, it’s like they didn’t even read my message. They simply ask “What can I help you with”. I tell them the problem again and 3-4 days later get another message back “What can I help you with” My guess is that they don’t have a fix for the glitch but instead of being straight up, they hope you just go away eventually. I don’t usually write reviews, but this is what their tactics got them- a bad rating!

Great game/NOT worth the anxiety

These multi tasking games are fun and engaging. However, I don't want to play games that increase my stress and anxiety. All of these games start off exactly the same. You play and play and do so well in the beginning stage to get you hooked and then the levels are nearly impossible to beat. I will watch the scoring and see how the score is rigged. I can’t even tell you how many times I have lost by a point or so. I have played the exact same level about 500 times and lose by the exact same score almost every time. If you want your score to be higher you MUST upgrade everything in the hotel and that requires stars and stars are NOT easy to come by UNLESS you pay. I understand and appreciate these games want to make money and are challenging but if they are so aggressive whereas you actually want to throw your screen across the room in frustration, it’s time to delete the app and that is where I have arrived with Hotel Frenzy. It’s a shame because it is fun and a nice escape but not at the expense of my emotional sanity. A guaranteed GREAT time….for the first day or so and a great time quickly will turn to high anxiety. I really think if the developers fix these issues they would actually make more money. They are guaranteed to NOT make a dime if the user deletes the app entirely. Something to think about.

To Hard

So, I saw the ad for this game and it looked really cool, so, I tried it. It has been a rly fun experience until I got to the second building on level 12. I have lost this level 5 times, and cannot seem to get past it without a power-up. I will not always have a power up to use to beat a level, and these levels will only get harder. I am requesting you to make some of the levels easier to make the level more enjoyable. Ty!

Game is great overall but…

I find the game a good pass time! It’s fun, relaxing, and just something nice to do while In the car or something, I only have one small problem with the game though, the lack of diamonds you can get is really frustrating, I completely understand the need to make profit but sometimes It can be annoying when I have 10x amount of coins I need for a upgrade but I don’t even have 1 diamond, other than that I really suggest the game! The ad ratio isn’t horrible and overall exactly how the ads show :)

Another one 😭

So I just wrote a review a few minutes ago but here’s another one 😭 one other thing I don’t like about this game is how it somethings seems impossible to beat the levels that require me to get a certain amount of coins usually over 1000 without having to use the double coins booster. I can’t always use the double coins booster because I don’t always have a double coins booster and this isn’t worth paying for anything because after a while it starts to get boring if you don’t buy what you need to defeat the levels. Please fix some of the things I mentioned. They aren’t difficult fixes so please put in some effort to make this game a little bit better

Still ok…

I’m not sure how I erased my original rating… I rate this game pretty fun and did comment on the excessive amount of ads. I got a reply back from the developer, thank you very much. I do appreciate that this review was read. However, compared to other games I play, this game has excessive ads. That is a fact and that’s how it is. No need to reply again, I understand you have to make money but some games do not have as many ads. It’s still pretty fun but the ads….ug. ANOTHER THING TO NOTE: the advertisement for the game does NOT MATCH THE GAME (it matches only 20%). Don’t love that little ploy to get you to play it. Here is the developer reply from my first rating: "Thank you for playing the game. Selling ads is a key profit way for a free game, which allows us to keep on developing and improving the game.
