My Favorite Game on the App Store

The MacBook version (on the desert level, which I am on) is a little buggy. I was able to find more and actually interact with objects (I.e. the stone door) when I was on mobile. It requires me to drag but I can’t do that on a laptop (it moves the page). Other than that, this is my favorite game on the App Store. The sounds are unique and interesting. The little scenes are adorable. I love how chill the game it. It is PERFECT for killing time.It has been a LONG time since I’ve played search and find games. I miss them.

Where’s Waldo in B&W

I really enjoy this game. At least until recently when I opened it up and it lost my progress and I’ve had to redo multiple levels. Lost about a weeks worth of daily progress.I also found a bug on one of the levels. Can’t select the lady at the bus stop. I wanted to submit the bug report but I haven’t made it back to that level after the data loss so I can’t provide the proper details to make that happen. I greatly dislike doing things twice. And I Also don’t like being unable to compete a level to it’s entirety, hello OCD. So yeah, it’s fun and great to unwind with before bed…. When it doesn’t lose your progress.

I can confidently say i’ve never ever written a review for an app before & am extremely picky with the ones that i do choose to play. This game is absolutely insane & i’m in love with it. I have really bad adhd so these fun interactive yet relaxing games make me so happy. I never come across things like this & know that i’ll be searching for more games like it after i finish. So PLEASE PLEASE make more levels or just more apps like this in general. It’s everything i’ve wanted and i don’t even want to finish because i don’t want to stop playing. Pleasantly surprised!!

This is definitely not the hidden object game I used to play as a kid in Highlight magazine. I love the black and white aspect and how everything is moving and so interactive that even after you find all the objects there are still so many things to play with. The sound effects add so much to the game, that this is one of the few games I did not silence it.There is no money involvement, no need to buy extra turns, extra time, replays or weapon involvement of any kind. Just a lot of good clean fun that anyone can play from child to adult. I also think that for us older adults it can really help keep my brain working and thinking!!!

Love this game! I hope for more!

This game is so much fun! I bought it years ago when it first came out and got sucked in back then. I’m so glad there was more in the Arcade. I have completely finished this and honestly love that there aren’t additional hints or anything (other than the creatively basic and cute hints for each thing to find) because it kept me sucked in. I kept opening this app every day to try and find one thing to keep it lasting longer. Now that I’ve finished it I hope there will be more or a different game that’s similar. The graphics and interactions are incredibly adorable and I’ve even gone back through and tried to find all the little quirks that the characters, landscape or levels do. It’s just so creative, appropriately difficult and just so much fun!

Try for yourself!

I like this this game! It’s fun don’t get me wrong and you find yourself wrapped up trying to find everything and having that rush of relief when you find something and then something again but it does take a turn quickly after.. the clues given sometimes DO NOT help at all so then you’re just stabbing around at the screen in hopes of finding something. Once you do find something, it stays in the puzzle instead of being taken away so if you happen to go back and tap it, it will still be there which is confusing to me. The noises are very repetitive and annoying. Some of the items are hidden or are so small it’s frustrating. I also wish you could zoom all the way out so you can have a birds eye view of the entire map. I hope a colorful version of the game comes out as well.

Great game

I got the original 3 or 4 years ago, but never bought the extension (Beach) so I was very pleased to find the new Apple Arcade version has the extension and also another extra area. It even remembered the progress I made with the original.The game feels a bit amateurish initially with the hand drawn graphics and home-made sound effects, but you soon get sucked in. Each level is a little world in itself with so many animations and interactive elements, and you become a little sad when you have to leave and move on to the next one, only to be delighted with the next world. Some levels are so large they’re almost overwhelming, but you follow the clues, explore the landscape and slowly, one-by-one you find all people/things.I’m hoping with Arcade we’ll get a steady stream of new content, but in the meantime there’s plenty of entertainment for newbies. This is easily the best hidden object game I’ve played, and highly recommended.

Quick Adorable game

I was worried since it’s all in black/white and you can only find certain objects thru interacting with specific objects that the game may end up being long and tedious. But truly, it’s super cute and isn’t as hard as I initially thought it would be. If anything, you get so engulfed in just trying to touch everything to see what moves and what sounds objects make, that you end up finding most (if not all) the items along the way without even actively searching for them. The main con for me was that there really isn’t enough levels!

Great quick little game!

The screenshots of the game should show that there’s a warmer background mode that’s easier on the eyes. I almost didn’t download this because of the high contrast bright background. Wish there were hints! They don’t make you find everything in those large detailed ones before you move on, which I appreciate, but then I end up trying to find every last thing anyway. At that point it would be nice to see the solution. The sounds actually grew on me. 🙂

Really fun and well made game. Sometimes a bit too challenging

The challenging aspect as you get further and into more complicated levels can be a time vortex. Getting sucked into finding that last item as you scan every inch of the level, tapping on any interactive surface you can find, makes me wish for a hint system. I think for this game the perfect hint system would be to highlight what quadrant the item is in. Need a hint? Explore the center of the map, search the top right of the map, search the bottom middle, etc.Love this game!
