loving this so much

This app is the best thing that ever happened to me. I love that I can post random selfie’s that I wouldn’t post anywhere else because it feels so free and open and excepting. Or I can post really cute photos of myself that I love but feel too self-conscious to post on Instagram and then have people in the comments hyping me up. I totally recommend the staff app I love how excepting and supporting and kind everyone is and you just feel free to be yourself. One recommendation I have is when you’re posting a photo make it so you can post it to multiple different topics. example I might want to post a photo to both the gen z community and the body positivity community.

Can’t wait to see future improvements

I love this app, but I do agree with the changes a lot of other people have already suggested.1. I don’t like the “public” section of the profiles. If there continues to be a “public” section, there shouldn’t be a limit on the number of posts on there. 2. The reactions/like feature. I like the idea of having reactions, but I think there should be a basic ❤️ reaction and you should be able to just double tap for that. 3. The categories for the photos. It won’t let you post a photo without choosing a “category” to put it under. I feel like this should either be done away with or it should let you post without choosing one/choosing multiple. Again I love this app I just think a few changes would make it even better!

Better than Instagram

The herd social app is soooo funn!! There’s no likes and no followers so no one can ever be famous from it unlike most social medias. It’s just about seeing cool pictures and meeting new friends. However I do have one suggestion, if when you click on a picture it would be really cool if you could click on someone’s profile and add their other social medias and people could customize their profile so still the no follower concept but that way you can actually talk to new friends. That would be amazing or if there could be a section where you can send and receive messages to only one person instead of commenting under their post. That way it’s easier to talk to new people! But overall the app is new and really interesting!

Lots of promise

It’s a great app and I can’t wait to see what it grows to become! There are so many things I’m excited to see that are coming, and what we have now is so much better and less toxic than what we are used to! I think the only thing that isn’t positive isn’t the creators or the apps fault, we are used to Instagram and Twitter and whatever, switching to this is a very different feeling, new to what we are used to and adjusting to it is a bit difficult. 4/5 starsUpdate: the new updates have just blown this app away, the aesthetics are on point and everything that was already was great is even better now. I just hope the app catches onto the rest of the world so there is more people on it. 5/5 stars

Great app but problem with the notifications

Hello! I haven’t had this app for long, but so far I’m loving it. Everyone is so positive, and it’s very refreshing to just scroll through and look at other people’s photos. I highly suggest you download this app before it gets bombarded with trolls. One problem I do have with this app is it’s notification system. There is a bell icon where you can check your notifications, but no dot shows up when you get one. I think it would be great to add a little dot that shows up when I get a notification, similar to the ones other apps have (I hope I explained that well). I also noticed that I could no longer see my notification after a certain amount of time. I’m not sure if this is a bug or if it was intended to do this, but I would really like if I could go back to read my notifications. Other than that, I LOVE this app and can tell a lot of work was put into it!

Nice, but I have a few suggestions

Hi! I’ve been so excited to download this app! :) I love it but I do have suggestions. It’s kind of difficult to like pictures, maybe you could let us double tap? It wont let you post without a caption and I think it would be cool to choose multiple different categories for the picture subject (ex: photography and nature) I will possibly add more to this as the app grows and as I keep exploring the app, it’s amazing so far and I love the idea behind it! I hope it becomes very successful! Also I’m honored to be the first review 😁(edit:) is there a way to refresh the feed? I keep having to look at the same pics :/ also is there a way to follow and search for certain users? (Edit:) thank you for making it easier to scroll and like!!!! I love this app so much already 😄

yes yes love

love the fact that you can pick your own interests and that every person on your timeline has an interest in common with you! the only addition i’d like to see on this app is the ability to see what other’s interests are aside from the ones you have in common, maybe after you both add each other back! it’d really bring people together to not just talk about what you have in common, but our own individual interests too ! And also, the interest picks are great but some are really specific while some aren’t specific enough. It’d be great in the next update to add more options and maybe even allow us to be able to choose as many as we want or a bigger number than just 15 (it’s so hard to choose!)Other than that, what an amazing app! Love that there’s no followers/like counts! this app is completely stress free and really connects people. love love love !! keep it up

words cannot explain the love I have for this app

hi, like many other people have struggled over and over with social media and using it as a facilitator to compare ourselves to overly edited photos and plastered fake smiles. over and over again I would fall in the cycle of getting obsessive and then depressed and then deleting social media but unfortunately it wasn't ever more for a week. I've always wanted somewhere I could go as a sanctuary take place, with only one day on it it makes me feel so much better. I saw this one beautiful post of this interior design with some plants in it and some gold accents, I decided to look at the comments and when I tell you I've never seen such positive and genuine environment. herd is everything you can ask for out of a social media app but in a way that makes you feel empowered and good about yourself instead of falling into a toxic cycle, one of my favorite features is that you can tailor your feed to what you're feeling. I've never seen that before and I think it's a brilliant idea. Long story short, I'm very glad for the creators of this app to create a safe space from the toxicity's of social media. much love <3

Excited for a non-controlling platform!! Love the autonomy ❤️

I’m so excited that this app still has the elements of other platforms, but it’s algorithm doesn’t control you to make you spend hours on end. It’s different because you can’t follow people, there’s no search bar, you can’t see other people’s profiles. But just because it’s different doesn’t mean it’s bad. I love that they have a reason WHY they didn’t add these into their app. I think I’m really going to enjoy using this app for a long time. And feel more free to post things that I’d be scared to on Instagram. There’s a few bugs currently, but this app is so new it’s expected. But overall this is great! I think every woman needs this on their phone.

Love it, but needs some work

I love the new idea behind this app, but I find myself never using it and I have several reasons why. One of my biggest issues is the limit on public photos. I was so excited about this app because of the idea of “carefree” posting, I’ve always been so nervous about posting on other social media platforms and this sounded perfect for me. However I was incredibly disappointed when I found out I can only have 15 public posts. This makes me 1. not want to post in general because no one is going to see it 2. nervous on what to put on my public page because I want to make a good first impression. This, in my opinion takes away the “carefree” part of herd. Second, I don’t like the like button feature. I think the idea is cute, but if the creator can’t even see the reactions then what is the point? On a positive note, I love the “beneath the surface” feature, the customizable feed and the overall look of the app. I can’t wait to watch this platform grow!
