Great, but one thing

I got this app a while back, and its the best free piano lesson app ive seen on the market. But i noticed that it has the SAME formatting as an app called Elevate. Elevate is supposed to sharpen basic skills, and lets you do 3 lessons free per day, and locks the other two (unless you subscribed). it ALSO has the same style of organizing their games, lessons, and stats. If you download the app and compare them, you could say that the only difference is what they teach. as soon as i saw how they put your points in a cut up bar, i recognized it right away. Coincidence? maybe, but it IS sketchy...edit: Elevate was created in May, 2014 and while i cant find a publishing date for this app, i do know that the first update was 10 months ago. so yeah

Cool game

It’s a cool game to learn piano but I hate the fact that it’s a little misleading when it’s free to download the app and then they tell you that you have to sign up for the free trial just to even try it out. Kind of a waist of time to now just have to delete the app. I have a lot of things to remember so canceling a subscription isn’t at the top of my priority list. I think they should offer you a free version with limited features to try out the game without having to actually sign up for the trial. Other than that it’s purpose is cool and I’ve tried other apps that give you a limited amount of features for free.

Weirdly this worked

I’d be learning sheet music by using a piano app called flowkey and I spent an hour everyday doing that for a whole year. I learned to play piano from that app but the sheet music skills never got ingrained for whatever reason, just something about that app wasn’t teaching it in a way that stuck with me. But swear to god I played this app for a couple of days and I had somehow learned the entire bass clef from doing that. I don’t even know why it works so well, but for me, it was almost like magic. I never review apps, but this one deserved it. I even bought their outrageously expensive year long membership. Like, they earned the money in my opinion. It just worked. Fast, too. Weirdly fast, like I said. 🤔🤓

Great but.....

I love this app and as you go it gets better because you know more. I understand that you have to pay for the other to things or you can do the week free but do not feel it is worth the cost. I did the free trial and then the week ended and it was normal but in doing it really was not worth it. Over all the app teaches a lot, if you never play piano studied and notes then this is great for you too. One day you can wake up not even knowing the notes or anything, but then you go on this app and you can learn it and you keep playing the games you actually can get really really good at the piano. So take it from me this app is great and will help learn if you go on it consistently.

I was really excited to try it

It looks really fun, and I was really looking forward to trying it out, but I cant get in without subscribing to the free trial. I don't have a credit or debit card, and I wont be able to get one of either for a few years. It would really help if you could make it so people could get in without the free trial. It would let people around my age use the app, and if they do like it they can buy the subscription and/or get the trial once they actually have a card. With the forced trial you’re missing out on possible future subscribers. Thank you for reading this if you ever do, and I hope you fix this for other people in the future. I hope you have an amazing day!

Okay, but not the best.

I like this app, because I don’t have a piano yet, and this app provides me with practice, getting to play my favorite songs, and other good things. But after you download this app, it tells you all the wonderful things you can do, and how you can explore the piano. But after that, you HAVE to make a subscription to the app to use the app. Now I’ll have to make a subscription, and cancel it before 7 days, because I don’t want to pay money for an app I will not use ALL the time. This will be an app I will use in my spare time, which I rarely get. Again, I love this app! But I’m giving it three stars for my opinion on this app. Thanks for reading!

Haters Are Lying!

I don’t have a explanation for it. But I do have a review! :DThis app still lets you learn a lot of piano even if you don’t buy the free trial! Which is amazing because I do piano lessons and I like to review some piano apps! And so far, this has been the best piano app I have used! I am training to learn the song Fur Elise and this piano app taught me the first part of Fur Elise which is amazing. But I still recommend piano lessons more then the app. But if you would rather pay less then go right ahead and get this app! This is the longest review I have ever made before because, it’s the best app for piano I have used before! :D go ahead and buy this app now! Hopefully you follow my advice. But if you get stuck in the Free Trial thing there is a little arrow that looks like this > it’s white so it blends in with the stars . So if you can’t get past that that’s how to get past it. If anyone was confused about notes the more you learn the more you remember! The notes might look confusing at first but after you see what notes they are you will start to remember all of the times you practice! Practice doesn’t make perfect but it does make good! Give it a try and if it isn’t good for you just do piano lessons it’s always an option as long as the teacher teaches the season!

I really love this app but the pricing.....$$$$$

I have played just a few games and I already love it and know the names of most noted, BUT the pricing is horrible!!!!! If you could maybe do 7.99 a MONTH that would be a decent price but really, and yes I know that normal lessons can cost ALOT and are a hassle to get out the door to go to them, but I feel like they are also so much more direct and easy and it’s just a lot of money to pay for this, maybe lower the price, or even better! Make it monthly! (Please don’t make it like 30$ monthly though😩) I know you have to make money but I feel kinda stupid paying 8$ a week even if I don’t use it every day😒. Please lower the $$$ I will get premium ASAP if I see the price has changed a bit!Thanx!

Has potential

I like the different things they teach you and how they do it except when I’m trying to learn a song as a beginner I’d rather not have to guess how to position my hands and guess was the notes are all the time. Mostly I’d like to see an app that helps with the hand positioning. I can figure it out on the easier changes but some of the classical music i want to play I’m not able to figure out where to go. But this app is in my top 3 favs. And I’ve tried a lot of them.
