Decent Audiogram app
I have Bluetooth headsets. It does not recognize them. Don’t waste your time downloading this app because it doesn’t work.
The app is interesting. Especially for a person that has lost a great deal of hearing and is experimenting with bone conduction headphones . . . so far they are a great tool. The ability to use a smart phone with ease has been returned with the headphones. Eventually we will include the Bluetooth connection on the TV as well. However it is important to monitor hearing on a regular basis, watching for changes as signals to return to the ENT immediately. So, back to my topic question . . . can the periodic hearing tests be saved? Currently I am using screen shots . . . what a drag. Thank you for any help you can provide.PS . . . I do understand that this app is not a medical tool and shouldn’t be used as one. We are considering it as way to tip us off of potential issues that ENT may want to evaluate. The printouts would only be used to show what our concerns are.
It is similar to the sounds used in your hearing tests at the otolaryngologist. I aced this one though!
While being fairly automated the app shows the user what is going on during the test, a nice touchResults page is the best I’ve seen in the handful of apps I’ve tried. Nice addition showing how you relate to others in your age group, what types of sounds you can hear. If only I thought the results were accurate I’d give it 5 stars. All other apps used show low to moderate hearing loss, this shows me above average… above my age average or compared to normal hearing ??? I know I have loss, this app though suggests I don’t. I don’t know which app is the most accurate here, but UI and results displays are the best with this so far
I have documented tinnitus and hearing loss yet this app said I have better hearing than other people my age.
This app does not give you the option of trying it with the speakers.
I have single sided hearing loss and other apps would say “seems like you’re not there”. This app avoids that by interacting with you the whole time. The results don’t exactly match my audiograms from the ENT but for a free iPhone app these are darn good. I love how this app tweaks the sound levels so precisely.
Pretty cool test, make sure you are in a complete silence tho
