Useful suite of tools when you are mobile and don't want to take the time to rip out your laptop / main device to run basic networking checks. Very useful for sysadmin / network admin
Apple’s iOS is very limited when it comes to network diagnostic, and this app solved it and you can do some trouble shooting locally. Has tools like your ping and traceroute, iperf, ssl/tls handshake.
I’ve been using this app for years and find it very useful. It would be even better if they can add the capability to send WOL magic packets.
The convenience of being able to conduct an iperf test from my iPhone was the main reason I purchased this app! The numerous other features are what keeps me coming back to this app. Keep up the good work guys!
I've played with this for about 5 minutes and it's better than any other free tool set I've tried.
Just what I was looking for I needed a ping utility where I could set the number of times it would ping so that I could compare different DNS servers to one another. Love it! Thank you very much!
I was looking for a simple network testing app and came up with this jewel. It features everything from iperf to DNS querying to OTP codes. True to the HE style, this is not a “shiny” application, but it’s packed with features.
Ping and many other basic tools result in instant crashing. I was hoping the update that came out today fixed this bug that came with iOS 11...but nope. Crashes immediately.
The iperf3 UDP test is useless because this app only tries to use a max of 1mbps of bandwidth. If the dev will check the iperf documentation, the bandwidth used in the udp test is a selectable parameter. You have to be able to increase the bandwidth used to the maximum supported by your network in order to properly test. This app defaults to using 1mbps, and that cannot be changed, so it's useless.
Has advanced features not common in similar tools, like SSL cert chain analysis
This suite of networks tools implements most of the network diagnostics that you need as a Network Engineer or System Administrator. Please help us improve it by giving us feedback. + ARP / NDP: Lookup local devices found on your network using either ARP (IPv4) or NDP (IPv6). + Bonjour Browser: See what DNS-SD/Bonjour services are available on your network + DNS lookup: Search for a servers DNS zone records such as SOA, NS, A, AAAA, MX, PTR. + Interface Information: Get information regarding your device's current network state. + IP Calculator: Calculate the Netmask, Wildcard, Network, Host range, and Broadcast for a given subnet. + iperf: Check bandwidth against remote iperf services. + One Time Password: Securely store and view your TOTP and HOTP (two-factor authentication) codes. TOTP codes are available on the Apple Watch. + Ping: Send ICMP packets to a single IPv4/IPv6 address. + Ping Sweep: Send ICMP packets to an entire subnet range. + Traceroute: Find the route packets take to reach your destination. + Progressive Traceroute: Get detailed statistics for a given route. + Port Scan: Scan a list of TCP ports on any server. + Routing Table: See your local device's routing table. + SSL/TLS Information: Check available ciphers, protocols and what's being used when connecting to a remove service. + Whois: Get information regarding network resources. + NO ADS!
