Best accountability app + best customer service

I downloaded this app today after realizing that I’ve been stuck in some ruts. A few of my friends joined with me and we’ve enjoyed cheering each other on with our new goals. The app is well designed and easy to use. I reached out regarding opening up the family share option because it felt redundant for my wife and I to purchase the same subscription just to gain access to the same benefits. I received a response almost immediately and they obliged. I’m so thankful for that, and will continue to use this app. It’s definitely going to be helpful to me and my little family reaching our goals! Do yourself a favor and get this app, even if without the premium subscription it’s great.

Inconsistent

It’s a good app/concept, but the app doesn’t automatically refresh. I shouldn’t have to pull down to see the results of others in the habit. Also, the leaderboard isn’t correct, those who are close to last place are in the top 3. I’ll keep using the app for now, but wouldn’t consider paying for premium any time soon.Update: The developer reached out and acknowledged the issues. Hoping they are fixed in a future release. Adding an additional star for communication

Love peer accountability!

I’ve tried a bunch of habit tracker apps and never really stayed consistent with them but I’ve been using this app for almost three weeks now and I’ve been loving it! My sisters and I use it to keep track of our daily squat goals 🤩🍑 super sleek and simple design. I’ve been recommending it to all my friends!

Is helping me change my life

As many of you know, Corona makes it very difficult to stay motivated. I'm practically Pavlov conditioned to fall asleep in 5 different spots around my house! It's really made a difference to know that my friends are also fighting to improve, and that we're not letting this time get the best of us.Fight on, brothers and sisters.

Best Habit App

Excellent app. This app leverages effective psychological techniques to strengthen habit formation. I am particularly a fan of the group habitat feature, which has enabled me to join a clique of similarly minded individuals in common pursuit of a shared habit. This group enforcement mechanism has really helped me by reducing the ease of shirking on account of the social cost. If you want to begin working on a better version of yourself, this is the app for you.

Good idea but a bit glitchy

I’m using this to run an accountability group for health and exercise. I’ve noticed that the chat feature is glitchy. When I send a message, it takes the text from the previous person’s message and places it in my bubble. I have to exit the habit and go back into the chat to see the message I’ve sent/confirm it got sent. Also, one of the group members got a notification that said they’d only completed a habit twice this week when they’d completed it four times. So there seems to be something off there as well. I still like the app and it works well for what we need but fixing these glitches would be super helpful. Also, adding a feature to be able to heart, thumbs up, thumbs down, etc. a particular message in the chat (the way you can in iMessage) would be awesome.

Extremely easy and fun to use!!

I’ve been using habitat for a while now and it’s soooo awesome!!! It lets me check in on my friends’ progress with their habits and we all get to push each other and have fun in the process. The way it lets you set up your goals on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis is super dope and easy too!!

Great app

FINALLY! I have been waiting a long time for an app like this and Habitat does not disappoint. I love being able to connect with my friends who live far away to work out or meditate together. It’s great that we can motivate each other from afar and keep each other accountable to improve our collective health and happiness, especially this year. Bravo- can’t wait to see what the future holds for this app.

Good, could be great with updates

PLEASE, This is the kind of app that would be very useful to access via widgets. Otherwise an amazing app but please do us a favor and roll out the widgets! Update: a little glitchy. Some issues that need fixing: - group chat pictures hardly come through. I have to reload the app to see the pics. Chat in general is glitchy. This is a core function of the app so fixing it should be prioritized. - should have a ‘like’ function for chat messages - should be able to toggle between personal habits and group habits from Home Screen. - there should be a feature that mutes the color of the habitat if you have completed it for the day, letting you know that you have completed it. Sometimes I forget which habitats I’ve already swiped right on and end up completing them twice in a day. - you should be able to invite the same person to multiple habitats at once. It’s exhausting inviting a new person into the group and having to add them to each habitat one by one.

Best Accountability App

Have been using this app this past year to build up my habits and it’s been absolutely amazing! Love the group chat feature, and I can’t see me building my habits and achieving my goals any other way. Excited for what’s to come for this app!

Description

Building new habits and accomplishing your goals is hard. Doing it on your own is even harder. So, why not do it with friends that keep you accountable and motivated?

With Habitat, you can track your goals & habits in groups with your friends. Here's how Habitat works: Create a habit/goal group (we call them habitats) for each of the habits you want to track and invite your friends! Or, join the habitats your friends create and invite you to. Inside a habitat, you can see everyone's progress towards their own goals and their current individual streak. As a group, you also have a group streak which can only go up if everyone's completing their goals. HABITAT PREMIUM Habitat offers an optional, auto-renewing monthly subscription for $2.99/month. The payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Your subscription to Habitat will automatically renew unless you disable auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can turn off auto-renew or manage your subscription from your iTunes Store account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a Habitat Premium subscription.
