Pure. Utter. Crap.
Tuning issues (E chord in the version I had was actually e minor). Ads placed in a way that makes it more likely that you'll accidentally press them (even after I paid $ to remove ads). Individual strings occasionally unresponsive. Bought to help songwriting when I travel but can't trust a guitar app that can't tune an open E chord. Felt compelled to write my first app review ever because it was such garbage.
Annoying adds, very quiet
Ads pop up every 10 seconds or less with a side bar add that is way to easy to hit so you can't get into trying to get the seldom working feature of strumming to function. With the phone volume turned up all the way i could barely hear the sound but what could be heard of it was really good with the exception of not being able to play much with all the ads. Deleting after 5 minutes of trying to play in which time the app crashed 3 times of what I'm guessing is from a malfunctioning ad. Good bye forever.
Avoid Cm
Latest update (at time of this review) works ok, but if I select Cm and hit the play chord button it kicks me out of the app. All other chords work fine, and finger picking works on all chords fine. I don't have the volume or ad problems others have, but I don't use it too often or play more than a minute at a time...
Illogical
The sound is ok but you have to switch between major and minor settings which is illogical if you're actually trying to play a song. Why don't they have the option of just picking a key to play within? It doesn't make any sense. I tried to use this with patients who have limited physical movement but it was frustrating so I just ended up just downloading another app.
Not good
Its not horrible, and its not that good, but at least it makes sound. To people that say that it dont makes sound: try pressing the button at the left of the screen, not sliding your finger throught the strings, if that dont works, try using the volume buttons in your device, if that still dont works, go to the settings, then "sound" then adjust the volume.it have some bugs and glitches, like switched chords and strings. To people that say its horrible but at least its free: what makes you think that free is = Horrible?! If you dont liked because its free just buy the paid version that have the option to use the fretboard and record what you play. I will not buy the paid version because i dont want to waste money in a iphone guitar if i have a real guitar. They say its better than a real guitar because it fits in your pocket, but its not, thats just a advertising strategy. The bad thing of iphone guitars is that it fits in your pocket! Its too small! You cant even hold the iphone in the right way! The iphone was not made to play guitar.
Good guitar app
While the guitar itself is good it seems I have no control over the volume. Whether the volume is all the way up or turned all the way down the sound is the same . Playing on iPad 2 .Edit there was a new update. However the sound issue has still not been resolved. No matter what my volume is seven muted , it will play at full volume. Please fix this.

Honestly just started playing guitar 7 months and this is so simple to learn on here.... It's step by step to playing my guitar at home ....would like more of a selection for song choice but I love it ... Thanks
Not bad!
This app is decent. For me, the sound is clear, crisp, and of good quality. Very realistic guitar sound. I think the app could use more development. I would also like to see the ability to choose or program the chord you have on the board, even if only in the Deluxe version. But, in all, not bad and it's easy to play.
Where is the sound?!
I just bought the app today... I tried it as soon as it downloaded and even with the volume all the way up, well, the volume didn't seem to work. There is something that is making that happen, because I checked one of my other apps and the volume worked perfectly.
Free is too much for this
I've never written a review. If an app sucked I just deleted. This app however is such a waist of time it's worth it to me to tell everyone NOT to get this! Some of the cords didn't work, game would randomly crash, sometimes only one cord made sound, and now the app doesn't even open all the way before it crashes! This time you are staying deleted! Whatever updates you might come out with in the future, doesn't matter, I will never use this again! DO NOT GET THIS! WAIST OF TIME!
