Goniometer

I bought another Goniometer app that I could never get to work. But this one is easy and seems to be pretty accurate. I had total knee replacement surgery and check my ROM often. Its much easier to have a Goniometer as an app rather than having to bring the plastic Goniometer with me to pool therapy or for keeping track of my progress

Works well for TV angle

Worked well helping me calculate the viewing angle from couch to TV. Simple easy I do recommend.

Trying to measure ROM

I don’t understand how to use this. Directions were not helpful. Trying to measure wrist ROM and it calculated 179 degrees

Not ready for people

Cannot really measure ROM of a knee. A knee flexed to almost the point of pain cannot be held still enough to get a reading. Device works on fixed objects. But is too fussy to take a reading on something that has a pulse or breathes.

Horrible

Just plain doesn’t work on any vertical angle. Plus instructions and help are terrible. Stay away!

Ruined it

The new update ruined this app. Now it will only work if it used on perfectly still surfaces! Just go back to how it was before! Not all angles that need measuring can be perfectly still without even vibration.

Description

Goniometer is a program for precise measurement of angles, simply by moving your device. The "Goniometer" app measures the angle of the device, using the accelerometer and gyroscope. Just place your device against two surfaces in turn and Goniometer will give you the angle between them.

In the protractor mode you can also determine the angle between lines on a plane: in order to do so align the edge of your device alternately against the sides of the angle. The accuracy of angles measurement is rather high: the error is only one degree! You'll appreciate the ability to save the measurement by taking a photo with the measured angle recorded on it. We are sure that you will like the design of this app. By the way, you have the opportunity to choose one of the three skins. Goniometer is an app that adds a new feature to your device which you have never imagined!
