Simple Yet Confusing
Update: There are some visual bugs in this app. I don't think the developer does a very good job around them. For instance, for the last 10 days, this app got 10 updates. An update every single day yet they are there. It has started to get annoying actually. ----------It has a very simple and soft user interface. But actions you do confuse you. It took me some time to understand the difference between stop, finish and distraction features. Double tap, hold, single tap... Everything does something different. Hard to get used to. Pro version makes it more confusing I think. There's something called To Do and another thing called Inbox. What is inbox?! There's not explanation. Also, I'd like to be able to make my working times longer than 60 minutes. I don't understand why there's a limit.Although it seems like I disliked the app, I really loved it and bought pro license on the 2nd day. It does the job, and does it very smoothly!
Tutorial needed Please!
This is quite a complex app in its functioning, plus has connectivity to Evernote and Todoist. The issue (as other have also commented) is that it has a very simple interphase screen, that at first look would seem that you can only use 2 or 3 functions. Press the counter and it counts, pull the tag and it asks for you to journal. However, Pomodoro is a process for people that are easily distracted, and there is no tutorial. So you touch once does something, press the same thing twice it does something else. There is a myriad of hidden features, that it sort of becomes more distracting to explore the app than to use it. A humble suggestion is: Please do a Video with a sequence of here is a project(opportunity), here you feed all the tasks sequentially, here you assign which task you will Pomodoro, etc.Please it is rather a sad state when I have the app, but cannot connect what goes where. Thanks
Keep screen on
I like this app. Cute and functional. My only problem is that my phone screen keeps on going dark after 1min (my phone setting). I do not wish to change that. However, it would be better for me if my phone screen would be kept on while I’m using the app so that I’d know how many minutes are left, etc. i hope the app could feature overriding the auto-lock setting of iphone.

Disclaimer : I’m just a person telling the truth about this app. The past couple years I have needed an app to help me stay productive. This is the number one app I recommend 100%. It has helped me so much towards staying on track and I feel like I accomplished something each time because it gives you a reward system which really helps you stay motivated. I hope this helps.
Pomodoro Expert Confused?
I have studied the art off Pomodoro under the creator of the system. It is an incredibly effective time management system that I use in motivational and time management presentations. This would be the best system I have seen if they would make it more user friendly. That is let you in on the secret of how to work it. I would actually like to work with the developers on an instructional manual because the potential of this program to actually transform lives is Hugh!. Everything is there but virtually no way to know or learn how to use it other that hours of time that would be productive if you learned it but wasted if you don’t, and they don't help much at all. Would be five stars if they provided more than a modicum of help to teach their wonderful system. But by all means get the program.
Hands down the best pomodoro timer I’ve used
As others have stated, this app clearly has a lot of care and time dedicated to it. The design is clean and simple, and the mechanics of using the app is so smooth and seamless that moving from task to task is incredibly easy. I personally love the connection to Todoist since I rely heavily on that app to plan my work. Having the ability to just tap to import my important tasks is so great. The points system is also really cool, as the prizes are nice and well designed. I feel more incentivized to work towards my goals with the little things like these. Overall, I would recommend. Especially if you use Todoist! This is the best pomodoro for moving tasks easily and checking them off.
Issues? You're On Your Own
I downloaded this app for its integration with Todoist. It is rather shocking how little support the developer has provided for this app. The website is little more than a brochure and it does not function correctly on the desktop using both Opera and Chrome. There is no help available by way of tutorials, manual, or online information and even the link to Vimeo introducing the app does not work. I had to go to the Todoist site to figure out the integration because the app interface itself in not intuitive, as many reviewers have noted. There are many other Pomodoro apps out there that are superior to his product.
A lot of care and detail
From the statistical views to the integration of other apps. The rewards system. Task and project customization and quite a few other things. Most of all I love the Apple Watch app! I don’t even have to have my iPhone connected to use it! It syncs my progress with no problem when I reconnect with the phone. That way I can focus away from my phone to get things done. The initial pomodoro start screen is elegant and simple even deceiving... in a good way... because there is way more to the app that meets the eye initially.
Great design, needs just a little improvement!
The app has one of the cleanest designs i’ve ever seen. It’s beautiful and functional, two things you rarely see together. I literally used it as an example of a clean design in university because it has such a nice look.The only problem i have with it, and please do fix it, is that it’s hard to toggle between different length of pomodoros. I tend to sometimes do 25min and 5min break and then sometimes 50min and 10 min break. I can choose different tasks to toggle between 50 or 25min of work but the break time in between stays the same. It’s the default time that i had set in pomodoro settings. So anytime i try a different timing i simply choose a different task (that has time specified) but i have to set the break time manually every single time. And it really is slightly annoying. Same goes with long break duration and pomodoros per round. Please fix this. It would be way more convinient to set work time, short and long break duration and pomodoros per round in a single tast. So it would be easier to choose 50/10 method with 2 pomodoros or a 25/5 method with 4 pomodoros.
The best pomodoro app I have used
I use flat tomato every day and try to get at least one pomodoro or more sets done for each of my home projects. It helps me keep going as I celebrate my time (pomodoro) logged on difficult projects. Eventually I get enough done that I can see the end and finish (still using flat tomato) but starting out and in the middle this app is what keeps me going and on track!
