Sad, sad dwarf world...

First of all, I find this game fascinating. Very few games have kept my interest as long as this one. I keep coming back, and replaying the campaign, and enjoying it still. Yeah, it would merit more than three stars. But...! The bugs are still there. The worst one probably the problem with the biomes. If i enter a biome, then for some reason jump out of the game because I don’t have a couple of hours to finish the biome goal, and the game happens to start up from the title screen, i lose all the biome progress. Sometimes this way i lose hours and get super frustrated. If there is something i can do about this, please let me know, because I cannot find a fix. Another bug - sometimes if my dwarves are in a middle of a fight, slowly dying, they try to escape but nowhere near sincerely enough. I even open up a few portals for them to get out and they just stand there looking scared and slowly die off. Also frustrating. It would be nice to see some fixes here and there. That’s why three stars. Potential for update and increase of the stars if a fix happens.

A Little Unbalanced

So this game is really fun but be warned it can be more tower defense than building and digging, which is what I thought it was since the title has the word crafting in it. I wish there was a way to turn off the portals because I quite enjoy the crafting aspect, and fighting creatures in the ground, etc. With the portals though I seem to be able to just barely survive enough to build up to a point where I can barely survive the next portal wave. Fall behind at all and g,bye crafting and gathering aspect, hello to getting ur but kicked every hour! Reading online, people tend to build underground but that takes away the creativity.

Amazing game, infinate replay

Out of every game I've purchased this game had the most mileage. I'd hate to think how many hours I've spent on this game. Pennies an hour. If you are on the fence about this game don't be. Solid gameplay, fast paced, attention grabbing. Great art coupled with addictive mechanics. My only question is, where is my Xbox port?

A True Gem

Craft The World is probably about as close Dwarf Fortress will ever get to being accessible to the masses. Played on a two layer side view reminiscent of a terrarium, the game oozes a certain swarthy Scandinavian dwarven charm. It takes a little adaptation to understand the logic of the dwarves as they dutifully attempt to follow the commands of your every tap on the pane of this virtual ant farm. However, the overall experience is very well refined, bolstered by years of updates on a true labor of love. The game now languishes an unappreciated artifact of yesteryear but, if you like colony management games, prepare to be charmed.

Great, Please i beg of you please keep going

I love this game. Epic battle, large forts, challenging enemies. However, i still think that It could be worked on. First off, the lack of population is just sad. We need to. After level 12, get two dwarves per level, because a million xp is a worthy achievement any day. Second, we need more expansive world. Like a global map. A map of a continent, and on it are several spots where you select where you want to start a colony. Also, you should be able to have several, have trade, a religion, war, not raids, war, like 30 dwarves against 100 full grown orcs. Third, there must be a new type of level, called SIEGE, when your dwarves go and burn orc cities, and burn goblin coves. I also would like a form of religion and procreation, allowing bloodlines and possibly a way to crown someone king or governor of a colony. Now, this could take years, but I would suggest a series of installments over several years. Pick and choose if you will do this, but please, as a fan, please do this, then you can raise your price to 7 or 10 bucks, and if advertised, you could have tv adds and a lot of money. Yours truly, a fanPs thanks for the Halloween stuff it really made my day

Amazing! Deserves every star!

I have sunk more hours into this game than any other on my iPad. It runs fairly smoothly. I do experience the occasional crash but it's certainly nothing game breaking. This is as five stars as a game can get. I enjoy it over Minecraft and Terreria and recommend it over both of them. For your reference, I am playing this game on an iPad Air 2.

Huge, deep, and super fun

I love this game. Not only is it one of the rare mobile games that doesn’t nickel-and-dime you for every little thing, it’s also one of the largest mobile games in scope I’ve ever played. Tons of tech levels, from basic weapons, traps, and decorations, to elaborate pillars and automated turret defense. Exploration, combat, mining, crafting, building, decorating... there’s just so much to do!If I had any complaints it’s that I wish there were a mode without the monster portals, and there needs to be more variety in the music. I’m really getting sick of hearing the same “night is coming” music every six and a half minutes. Also, rail needs to come earlier, because my tunnel system was HUGE by the time I got rails, and telling dwarves to do anything far away takes FOREVER unless you spam the portal spell.

Great! No timers!

I bought this on PC and loved it enough that I had to buy it on mobile also. The dwarves are charming, the graphics are fun and the game is addicting. I am happy to pay a few dollars to not have to deal with timers. I hate micro transactions and refuse to buy them so I love this game that you can just play. There is DLC but you can enjoy the game without it.

Please add sandbox

Not like the crafting one one where you have infinite dwarves which you can summon anytime anyplace with all the items in the game in your inventory and be able to place blocks by yourself otherwise the game is almost perfect and please make sure that the campaign portals don’t spawn near houses because one did and I lost all my stuff they broke through the walls and killed all my dwarves so I had to restart and also please make them less frequent because I have hardly any time to prepare for the next one

One of the best games I've played but you should add more

This game is really fun even better with the add ons but I think you should make a world that has every biome combined and have it be so you could choose what mode and you should add multiplayer and make like a giant world with different places you spawn but you can't use other people's stockpiles and stuff also I can't get a strong base the monsters tear though it mostly one time the catapult ore broke lots of my base it keeps saying the shelters borders been violated for some reason

Description

50% off for a limited time! Craft The World is a unique sandbox strategy game, the mix of Dungeon Keeper, Terraria and Dwarf Fortress. Explore a random generated world populated by dangerous creatures, build a dwarf fortress, gather resources, and craft all the items, weapons, and armor you need.

Pocket Edition contains all 4 worlds of the Steam version: http://store.steampowered.com/app/248390 GOD-SIMULATION You control a tribe of dwarves by giving them commands to dig in certain places, attack enemy creatures, and build houses and other structures. You'll need to provide your dwarves food and clothing, as well as help them with magic when fighting against other inhabitants of the world. You start the game with one dwarf and gain additional dwarves as your experience level increases. SANDBOX GAME Each game level has many layers of earth to explore, from the sky down to boiling subterranean lava. The level is randomly generated as an island, restricted by natural boundaries: oceans on the edges, lava beneath it, and the sky above. Other features include day and night and changing weather conditions. The worlds differ in size, humidity, temperature, terrain, and flora and fauna. Abandoned halls and rooms with treasure are hidden somewhere deep within the islands. CRAFTING One feature of the game is a user-friendly system of recipes for crafting. The recipes are organized and easily accessible. You can craft dozens of different items: building blocks for houses, furniture, decorations, weapons, armor, ammunition, and food for your dwarves. RTS At the outset you find the recipes for basic tools and items, and build a small house with places to sleep and eat. Then, the size of the tribe increases and catches the attention of other inhabitants of the world. Most of them are night creatures and dwell underground. The worlds are full of fantasy creatures like zombies, skeletons, goblins, beholders, ghosts, giant spiders, and others. Some of them pay little attention to the dwarves, as long as the dwarves do not come into their field of vision. Others gather into quite large groups and try to break into the dwarves’ residence. TOWER DEFENSE Especially dangerous are the waves of monsters that appear from time to time from portals. So, do not neglect to build a safe haven with strong walls and numerous trapdoors, cells, firing towers, and secret passageways. MAGIC As a divine being, you possess various spells. You can speed up the movement of the dwarves, open small portals, illuminate dark caves to scare away monsters, evoke natural magic in the form of rain or tree growth, hurl fireballs at the monsters’ heads, and find useful resources and hidden rooms underground, thereby helping to speed up resource extraction, exploration of the world, and the population growth of your assistants.
