The old way is gone, and Cost Track is here!

I had a digital ledger on my phone before Cost Track. The reason I switched over was because the free app I was using was no longer being supported. I needed something else to help me keep up with expenses, so I looked around and Cost Track seemed to have everything I was looking for. But you have to purchase the app. I Don’t Purchase Apps. That ain’t ya boi. I’m over here balling on a budget and paying for software on my phone when a free alternative exists? No thank you! However…I started to think about how important a good manual ledger was for me, that would take several balance sheets into account and spit out a grand total. I then remembered how my free option just went up and left for the undiscovered 16th dimension. One phrase came to mind: “You get what you pay for.” So I decided to pay for Cost Track and give it a try. Thank the Sweet Lord that I did! Had everything I was looking for and then some. I’ve been rocking with Cost Track for AT LEAST a year and some change and it’s still one of the better purchases I’ve made to date. You truly do get what you pay for! Thanks Cost Track team!

Excellent app to keep a record of expenses on the go

I recently switched from a Droid to an iPhone. I used the same app for 10 years to keep track of expenses, but discovered that it wasn’t available for the iPhone. I wanted something easy to use to keep a total of expenses. After trying several apps that were too complicated and sometimes inaccurate, I found this one. I love it because it’s easy to set up and use. It syncs across multiple devices and it’s always accurate.

Question!!!!

I’m reconciling my bank account agains this app. I can’t find a way to “mark” all the transactions that have cleared my account. Do you guys have a way of doing this?

No Bank Sync Functionality

App seems to be nicely designed and be simple enough to use. The only problem is that they seem to want you to enter all of your expenses and incomes manually. Not sure who has the time for that. Was hoping for an app to just take care of all that for me and categorize automatically. I know there are many apps by larger companies that do this.

Cost Sheet Sharing

I’ve been using this app for several years now and really like it. Especially the synchronising part where I’m assured of the security of my data even if I lose my phone. I would like to share the app with my family members but wondering if the app can restrict access to only the ‘Cost Sheets’ that I designate.

Simple&Effective

Easy to use, up to date, fun & it's getting better all the time. It made my budget & me more efficient. Input information in cost sheets is simple and you get back the info you need. The app became part of my daily routine and can't think being without anymore.

Bait and Switch

Generally liked the app and have no problem with companies making money of their products but this easily sold as free and after you have added transactions in it, months later, they hit you up with a no option but to buy full version. If they had made it obvious the “not full” version would expire I never would have downloaded it. Can’t continue to use unless you pay. Again I get the model but should have been up front about it.

Best Expense track ever

Thanks to this app I can keep track of my expenses. When I’m in a hurry I use the widget. It would be wonderful to have a search tool within the app.
