Needs more variety

I think this is a great idea for creating royalty free original loops, but it needs more variety in the sample libraries. There are hundreds of thousands of samples on Splice but only a few packs seem to be available for this app.

Good App, Keep Improving It!

The design and layout of everything in the app itself is nice. The stacks are organized in a simple fashion, and creating them is efficient thanks to the design. However, my main complaint is that there is simply no way to export these stacks into a DAW. It’s great that we can share our creations through this app, but when will we get the ability to export the stacks into DAWs? I love this app, but personally I think it would work best alongside another program, such as a DAW.

Surrender yourself to Splice

Alright, I’ll admit. I was skeptical to give this a try. I pay for a splice sounds membership at 100 credits a month. While I greatly appreciate the service and use it regularly, something about using pre made samples always gave me an internal argument. I was weary of CoSo being another high-tech money-grab that stunts the growth of true creativity. If you want to look at it that way, yes, it may insidious - but delightfully so. The sheer speed at which one can sketch new ideas is like nothing I’ve ever used before. I will always grapple with the idea of AI making my creative decisions for me. It encourages laziness. But at the end of the day we musicians are still in the driver’s seat. I think for the average splice user who uses loops as a source of inspiration or a sort of “jumping off” point, this app will ramp up those sketching workflows exponentially. I foresee increased spending of splice credits in my future, which might not be such a bad thing after all :)

Amazing!

I’ve been using this app for a couple of months now and it’s amazing. The latest update that allows you to adjust individual volume is an awesome feature. When will the Export to Ableton option be available? I’ve been waiting on that feature to really take full advantage of this and implement it into my workflow. Thanks for the amazing support and updates!

Incredible idea and app

I have so much fun using CoSo to quickly come up with song ideas wherever I am. I especially love it for when I’m on the bus commuting to work and can quickly sketch out a few song ideas that I can take to Ableton when I get home. Great idea, huge sample library, and intuitive design makes this one of the coolest pieces of tech I’ve seen in music production for a very long time.

Need Ableton Export

My husband and I love sitting down and taking turns making stacks on our phones. It’s so fun and at the end of the night we each have like 10-20 new stacks, that we can then review and pick ones to actually produce! This has helped our workflow so much!

Good but minimal

Great concept, however I wish I could use this app to put together drum kits from splice. It will not allow me to listen to different kicks, or snares, or hi hats for example. It only stacks loops for now, which is fine if that’s what you use splice for, but if you use it build kits, this will not help you.

Love the app just needs more options

I feel as if it’s great app to have for workflow but what’s holding it back is the lack of options cause right now it’s not useable for every producer out there but still great none the less

It’s Cool!

The concept is cool! I’ll keep it around for awhile to see if some key features are added that are currently not there. Maybe some of them are, and I just haven’t found them yet.1. I’d like to choose genre, not just instruments.2. I’d like to choose my key.3. Ableton link. I’d like to hear how the loops sound with my other apps running. I’m sure there are more great things in the works, as this app is still new, but those are the 3 that would greatly improve my personal workflow. Thanks Splice!
