Amazing Up-and-Coming Idle Game

Corah is a newly developed idle game that has stolen all my attention. Its visuals are beautiful, classes are charming, and progression system satisfying. The lead developer is very responsive to feedback in the active Discord server, and has implemented community ideas. Some people criticize the "gameplay," but the point of an idle game is to be idle. Your character fights idly, while you can do other things like upgrade items, hunt for pets, PvP, and search the market. I've spent the last few days in Corah and I can't put it down. Highly recommend any idle game or MMORPG lovers to give it a try!

Was expecting more

Plays like an unfinished game. There’s a $6/month IAP for minor QOL adjustments. Tons of other IAPs for $10-20 each in diamonds that give huge advantages (longer afk time, longer pet gathering, more pets, 3x exp potions (cost $3 per hour), and more...) Diamonds can also be openly traded in the market for quest scrolls to level faster which are about the only exciting thing in the game. The gap between each gear set is nearly 30 levels early game which is DAYS of actively playing. But don’t worry… you level much faster online and ONLY gain loot when you are online. If you are looking to keep a game running 16 hours per day.. this on is for you. It’s almost like the dev made the game painfully slow to entice people to buy the IAPs. The guild interface is so buggy its almost unusable. The play loop is extremely basic.. you just sit at a boss farming it and chatting until you can move to the next. This game needs to be more fleshed out. At the moment it’s just a chat room with an almost RPG game to distract you in between messages… oh.. also there’s no filter on names so people with the N-word as their name pop up in chat randomly. It’s quite exciting. Overall, just a little confused.. the app description says no p2w but it’s basically pay to play. I am truly convinced the only reason this has a good rating is because the dev constantly solicits 5 star reviews from people in his discord anytime he answers a question or helps them.

A different way to RPG

I love the concept of the game! It’s hard to put down for too long without wanting to check or let the game run so I can keep collecting loot! I really like how there are different classes and you can group up with other players on the same mob. It’s a great way to meet people, and the discord seems to be pretty active with hardcore fans. It’s definitely a gem. Im looking forward to seeing what else is in store with the future updates!!

Bright future

Solid core loop, frequent news and updates, dev is extremely active and communicates with the community, and everyone involved seems to genuinely care about having a good experience. I actually had to step away and watch from a distance because I was getting too sucked in and didn’t want to spoil the experience when the full release came, I could tell this was a gem I wouldn’t want to miss. Now that full release is in sight I have no hesitation in saying you should do yourself a favor and try it out! It’s worth the time.

Hidden gem on a successful path

Corah is a real-time multiplayer mobile game inspired by old-school MMORPGs for PC, with a focus on community building and player interaction. It offers pets, quests, guilds, passive skills, stats, basic asynchronous PvP, crafting and equipment upgrading, and more. The game uses an auto-attacking system where players manage and upgrade their characters while watching their stats and equipment increase. Premium features offer slight advantages, but the game does not sell equipment or equipment upgrades. There is no energy system, and players have the option for AFK (offline) rewards. The game has some in-app purchases, but no forced advertisements, or advertisement 4 reward system. My favorite part is that the community will have a say in deciding which features to add; and have some say in the priority list.

Critics are not “trolls,” dev.

Watched this one from a distant on the discord and played maybe 40ish hours during early access/beta. Saw a lot of issues but hoped it would improve on release. The main issue, honestly, was that this game… isn’t a game. There’s nothing fun about it. You can’t make a game’s primary mechanic watching paint dry. The dev took a fairly good idea, coded it to make it work, then did so many DUMB things after that and got called out on it time after time. But instead of listening, people were just called trolls.Covering the issue of your game being… terribly boring, slow, lacking in any incremental factors, lacking in any idle factors, lacking in ANYTHING—covering all that with MORE micro transactions is sad.

Hidden gem here

Corah is a great game with a great community that needs more players the developer is actively developing this game its very grindy but very fun it’s very f2p friendly the support is amazing and coor (dev) always stops online to share news and future plans and also gets player feedback within 16 days of launch subclasses we’re released fishing and cooking thus far permanent buffs were added to these subclasses and once again very f2p but grindy well done Coor this game is great everyone should give this game a go

Good, needs pay changes

First of all I think this game is great. It’s very simple but has enough of a grind to make it fun. The single developer has done a wonderful job making an idle rpg. That being said, the pay aspects are confusing. They are charging $6 for a monthly subscription and include features in that bundle which should be free. Then, the diamonds themselves are a bit egregious and definitely make this more p2w than the developer was intending.I think he does a good job at listening to feedback in the discord channel but his effort to not make it p2w has directly done exactly that. The grind can be a little too slow and there should be more upgrade paths than a monthly sub.The game has heart and I’m happy to play it, but it needs work on the pay aspects. INB4 he says “I need to support myself financially,” there are many better pay avenues which have been mentioned in the discord, please take those to heart.

The Tutorial is Incomprehensible/Inaccessible

The tutorial is written the same way an engineering manual might be written- only decipherable to other engineers. If you aren’t neck deep in stat-heavy games you might struggle to grasp what the tutorial is trying to teach. The grammar is pretty awful as well. The game needs a writer that knows how to teach to a wide audience, not just stat nerds, in order to get a wider player base that can play the game as expected. I have no idea what is going on, if I’m doing the right thing or not. I like the concept, but as someone with dyscalculia and autism, cognitive overload is something the devs should seriously consider as they move forward. I’m gonna keep giving the game a go regardless, I can tell a lot of love and effort went into it, and the concept has a lot of promise!

Simple, and enjoyable

I must say I didn’t have high expectations of this game, being only a few months old. I was very pleasantly surprised to see this cute little game capture my attention, and it actually be fun. I have but one complaint. The drop rate for bait is incredibly low. Max level fishing is 100, but it feels as though just getting to level 10 will be a chore, so getting to 100 will be impossible. If the devs view this, please increase the drop rate of bait.
