Great app! Wish the app would rotate when iPhone is turned on its side.
I love this app. I mount my phone on my forearm and can monitor my levels while booming with out having to look down and lose focus on what I am booming. Wish the app would rotate when the phone is turned side ways but minor issue. I'm sure they will add this to future updates. And yes, would be nice to move this back and forth between my 788T and 744t. Thanks SD.

will they make this for osx? i feel like its very limited on a phone. also when ios device is locked it will sleep the wifi connection
This could be incredible!
I pretty much spent $250 + just to look at levels on an iPhone. Why can't you adjust levels, monitor audio, NOT LOOSE SIGNAL EVERY FEW MINUTES!!! I mean come on guys, no landscape view? SD is supposed to be the best in the world? Let us be able to "lock out" certain functions and let a scripty use it without fear that they will accidentally stop a take!Basically it has one or two screens that look like my partners 664 screen, except I paid $3000 more for my 788T and still have to use my iPhone. I don't have this yet, but I'm going to go ahead and give it a good rating because it's awesome that SD is jumping on the app bandwagon!Only 4 stars because there isn't a stripped down version for the 744T...Would love to be able to have a transport, control routing, see take info, and input metadata from iOS for the 744!
CL-wifi
I love my CL-wifi. Editing scene names, notes, and track names could not be easier. I can put the 788 in a backpack or sealed up a waterproof bag and control it and monitor levels remotely. Clients are impressed when they think I am texting my friends, but I show them that I am controlling the machine from my iPhone and giving them more detailed metadata than I would without the CL-wifi. Excellent.
Description
The CL-WiFi app is a wireless remote controller for the Sound Devices 788T 12-track recorder/mixer. It provides transport control, input routing, signal level and timecode display, and editing of a recording's metadata. To enable remote control functionality, a CL-WIFI interface accessory must be connected to the 788T.
