Must have for chess players

I am very impressed with this app it is very useful. Before finding this if I wanted to analyze a specific position I would need to set up the position piece by piece while this app allows u to do this instantly. A must have for those who study chess.

My buddy used this to cheat against me

I knew about the Reddit bot for a long time, but I didn’t know they had an app released for over 4 years now. And I discovered this when my buddy used it to more or less prank me. I figured he would have used chess helper instead, but this is a bigger win overall. It’s been a great tool to discover lines not otherwise written in puzzle books. Don’t cheat kids. Or you could end up pulling a Hans Niemann, getting your entire OTB tournament history scoured for evidence of cheating, and throwing your career down the tubes. Not that anyone here is likely to be a chess prodigy 😂

The one chess app I need on iOS

This app has everything I’d put in a chess app. Screenshot to PGN, directly analyze in the app, choice between on-device or in-cloud analysis, and easy export to other apps (Chess com or Lichess). Only thing I’d add is ability to play the analyzed position against an AI with artificial “ELO” ratings, with the ability to manually override a computer move. Although this is a novel capability not offered elsewhere yet!

Third party login services don’t work

Originally tried to login with Google, afterwards it is stuck on a loading screen forever. Tried deleting the app and reinstalling, doesn’t give me the option to login. Just goes straight to the loading screen.Revoked the third party login access to Google and I was able to attempt to login again. Tried choosing Apple this time, except ran into the same issue. Tried to revoke the Apple third party login for chessai but it’s still stuck on a loading screen. Wonder if it has something to do with new account creations through the app. Either way, app is completely stuck for me at the moment

Simply Incredible

I’m currently going through “the encyclopedia of chess combinations” book which is a book with a few thousand puzzles. The puzzles are great, but the answers don’t give every single line (which is understandable)This app completely resolved this problem. If I can’t figure out why my variation didn’t work, I take a picture and get the answer within seconds. I don’t write many reviews, but this one absolutely needs one.

Outstanding

Even without a subscription, being able to make a dynamic diagram from a printed ones is extremely useful. You can take pictures from diagrams in a paused video, which just opens a great deal of possibilities. I couldn’t be happier with this app.

Makes reading chess books much more practical and enjoyable

Before this app, reading chess books meant setting up a chess board for each instructive scenario, or attempting to follow along in your head. Now it’s as simple as taking a photo. Playing against the computer in the app makes it even easier.
