Ads are ridiculous ruins the game.

For some reason these developers thought that a quiet game of chess should involve loud music (which can easily be turned off) and very loud advertisements that will always play loud and when you attempt to exit the adds it is just clicking you to another advertisement. Would be a good game and worth a couple of pop up ads here and there but they have gone overboard so I will probably delete the game and there is no way I will pay them to remove the advertisements after the useless and annoying advertisements they’ve already made me suffer through.While a appreciate your timely yet somewhat patronizing response I will add that my complaint is not with the ads. It is with the developer who programmed ads that play at full volume despite the fact I disabled the sounds for the game. If you’d like people to pay you or play your game you might attempt to make the ads bearable and not make people phone the center of attention while trying to play a game in public by ridiculous loud ads. Lots of other developers have figured this out so maybe call and ask how they accomplished this great feat of programming

This makes no sense!

Im so confused?! Y was level 3 or whatever so HARD???!! Like im not that bad at chess but whatever move i made i immediately died after! The computer kills all ur characters so fast it makes to sense!! This game was so frustrating and stupid that i have to get u a low review! If ur going to make a difficulty 3 make it easy bruh! I lost every time this was so confusing!! I thought i was good at chess but this game just makes no sense! What is En capture or something i learned how to play chess y wouldn't they tell me that was a thing!!! Every single move i made i died! Like they killed my characters from a far but i couldnt kill them! It made no sense whatsoever!!!!!!!!😡😡this app made me furious! But the little horse on the front is cute and i like the music but make the difficults when against the robot easier cause it was really confusing and hard!!

Great chess game

I haven’t seen any reason not to give this a full 5 Stars. It does everything it needs to do and does them well. The options for learning new tactics and strategies are wonderful with the undo feature and the options to show available moves. One suggestion is that as a learning feature for beginners, being able to click on the opponents pieces to see where they can move would be useful. For those of us who know chess this ain’t a concern but I see it from a beginners standpoint that this would be an even greater learning app for chess if it had a feature like this.

Great practice app for Chess

It’s one of my favorite chess apps out of the many I have, but I never use it because I can’t see the moves in the game for analysis. I save and study all the chess games I play and the only thing this app lets you do is rewind the game from the end to the beginning but not the other way around. Almost as if the developer went out of his way to make it difficult to get a copy of your game. I won’t purchase the app until I can at least play through the game from the beginning to the end so I can write the moves down or copy the moves on another device that I can create the PGN so that I can import it into my games database. And I’m only at the beginner level.

The Perfect Chess game

I really enjoy playing the game of Chess and this app makes it feel like I actually have a set in front of me. The game it’s self is fast loading up and I have never experienced any bugs that I can remember in the few years I’ve had this game on my phone. There is lots of customization with the color and size of the game pieces and board. I only play the computer so I can’t judge it’s ability to interact with other players. The difficulty setting is very realistic in my opinion. I have been able to defeat the computer on my own but only up to level 3 which is probably an exact representation of my skill and ability of the game of chess. I have turned the level all the way to 10 and I always get my but kicked which isn’t a bad thing because I really enjoy the challenge and it’s a learning experience to me. It also has “puzzles” which is where you are put in a certain scenario with a select few pieces on the board and you have to figure out what moves checkmate the quickest, it’s very fun and addictive. I definitely recommend this game of Chess app.

Flaws

I play this site everyday it’s ok the gaming is good but there are consistent flaws! Sometimes you’ll make a move and then 10 seconds later you’re time will go down and u have to exit the game and redo the move but the time is still off then when your opponent runs outta time sometimes he will still get to make a move and the gane doesn’t end and then your time will go while the gane is loading! Two other things when I register for a game it takes a while to get an opponent and finally there have been at least ten games I have won and my taming didn’t up grade! It’s kinda stupid tbh when the reason I play on this site is to achieve a higher ranking because my stats actually are important to me! So over all the site is pretty good but those flaws getting fixed would make the app way better!

3D Chess Rocks

I am not much of a gamer but this chess game is freakin kewl. I am totally addicted to this game. The game works flawlessly(is that a word?). The ad banner on top is not bad for a free game. I have seen much worse. I really like the back and check your moves functions. Changing color is also nice. The spin and bring the board to normal buttons are another great feature. I haven't played much chess over the years but having this ap changed that for sure. Kudos to the creators. The music is about the only thing I might of had an issue with but that is only because I am a musician, its not that bad and you can always turn it off, another nice feature. I like playing against the computor, it has taught me to play again. Hey tanx for listening. Peace love light and harmony........olaf

Annoying feature UPDATE

I don’t know why they thought it was a good idea to set up the computer player to win automatically when a piece is able to take out your king IF YOU WOULDN’T CHANGE POSITIONS IN THE NEXT TURN. As in: the AI player changes position to put your king in a compromised location. Normally, you have this opportunity to change your king’s position and continue the game, right? Evidently not. I don’t even know how to describe this in text, but it’s incredibly annoying and kills the player’s sense of competency in a way that violates the game’s own rules . . . This literally makes it a broken game, and it was a feature that they obviously implemented on purpose.Update- Look at the developers response under this. They actually attempted a strawman like you can’t read what I wrote for yourself. They’re incapable of taking accountability or accepting criticism. I discovered a nice new feature today where if you actually have the AI player’s king pinned to where he can’t move, instead of letting you win, it will call it a stalemate draw . . . . Lmfaoo what a joke.

Can’t quit

Love the game on several levels. You can tell the bishops from the pawns and the queen from the king easily. That may sound trivial- but it is a challenge in many electronic chess versions. It also holds in obvious sight the killed pieces which is nice. My problem with the game is that I can’t quit. I don’t mean I’m addicted - you can’t quit the app. Using iOS 14.1 the common method for quitting or switching apps is to “slide-up”. On this app when you slide up it causes the board to graphically spin. This is marginally entertaining the first few spins... but then you still want to quit the app and you can’t. Maybe there is a set of combo moves or spins or clicks - but really? I find I have to turn the phone off and back on again which is not a preferred method for quitting an app.

I LOVE this app!! I Couldn’t be happier with it.

I LOVE this chess app!! This is perfect for learning chess. It’s so well thought out. I like the way the board and pieces look and also the piano in the background. When you play the computer it’s extremely challenging. Also if you make a few bad moves and don’t like the outcome you can hit the back button as many times as you want all the way to the first move. Which makes it a perfect learning tool. The ads only pop up between games and aren’t annoying at all. They can be skipped after just 5 seconds. Or like $3 gets rid of them completely. This is exactly what I was looking for. I wish I knew about it sooner. Great job on this app!
