Superb Auto Expense Tracker

This logbook is excellent. It’s fast and easy to use. No more scraps of fuel receipts for me; I just input the gallons and cost at the pump and I’m done. The Expense tracking feature is just as easy to use. Try it. You’ll like it.

Best car log app I’ve seen so far

I searched a lot (not all) of these apps; downloaded and tried them out. I selected this one initially and am glad I did. After using it for several months I’m really happy with it. None of these apps were intuitive to use, but this is the most easy to use. And it’s generic enough you can use it for all kinds of things (lawn tractor, quad runner, trailers if you want). It does a lot of calculations under the hood and provides graphs and charts to track expenses. Date filter let’s you see monthly costs (or weekly or whatever). It provides full functionality without in-app purchases (I might have paid small fee when I downloaded it, can’t remember).

Good app but needs some work

This is my go to app for tracking vehicle usage and expenses. It’s well-worth the modest cost. Highly recommend.

This app is fabulous

My iPhone 5 needed firmware update wiping out all records. My mileage foe business and personal was very important. I was not even sure these records had been stored but instructions were great and I have restored 2 years of records AND put it on my iPad. In both cases the App Store remembered I had purchased the Pro version and did not charge me anything - I would have blessed them even if they did charge me. 5+ indispensable App.

Very good but...

Would be nicer if there was a way to print the history for a vehicle. Love the way it syncs between iPhone and iPad. Easy to use.

Using it, but...

Seems like a pretty straight forward app to track my gas and mileage, but on the third entry, I had to do it three times to see it finally saved. Still wondering why I'm not seeing miles/gal averages after three entries? Does it take a certain number before that populates? I liked all the features this app will do since I just bought a new car. My car actually does some of these same features for tracking, but it doesn't fit in my pocket to easily. Keep updating, I'll keep using.

3 Problems

Kinda surprised (and annoyed) that I had to purchase this after recording a number of fill-ups. This wasn’t disclosed anywhere. Also, it’s not particularly obvious how to log in fill-up data. Most important, though, is that it doesn’t calculate the miles-per-gallon for each fill-up - don’t bother with this app if this information is important to you.

Pretty good App but it...

Needs fields for Engine size, Transmission type, Gear ratio and user defined fields to show on main screen. That way when viewing mileage data you know the particulars and any changes of the vehicle being observed. Overall it’s a pretty handy app but when using it for multiple vehicles it would help to see the above mentioned fields.

Data Rich

I haven’t came across another app that charts your fill up data like this one. Showing energy density of fuel using mpg driven from a specific station makes so much sense but haven’t seen another tracker do this. Would recommend purchasing the full version, if you ever switch phones you’ll have to manually input everything.
