The SAME set of hands are given to 7 other users, who will be playing them under the same conditions, on their devices. Therefore the only ‘variable’ in the match are the eight human South players. When the results are published, many of you will realise that you are not as bad as you made yourself out to be, while some of you will awaken to the fact that you are not quite as good as you thought :-) All the results are completely transparent, and you can examine how every competitor bid, and played the hand. Duplicate is totally anonymous – only your display name is shown, so no-one will know who was the person who went down three in the simple 1NT contract!! :-) ** Whatever age we are, we all suffer from those ‘senior moments'.
