Lots of bugs

I Purchased this this morning, and I discovered it has several bugs that are very annoying. For one thing, when you go to certain areas in the app, there is no way to get back to the previous area that you were in originally. So you have to shut your phone totally down and turn it on and start all over again, and not go back to that page ever. Also, you can’t put all of your bills that you know you’re going to have to pay and the amount you’re going to have to pay each month and, and at the same time have them show a date when they’re due. You can’t put those under accounts. So if all of this ever gets fixed, it may be a very worthwhile app.

Better than most

I like being able to track my income as well as my bills/spending. It helps as I try to maintain a positive cash flow every month.I tried emailing the developer thru the app but it bounced back. Dev: if you’re reading this, please add the ability to set a recurring bill for four weeks (current settings are three weeks then one month). I like to pay my mortgage every four weeks as it’s an painless way to make a 13th payment every year.

Love this app!

Only reason I’m giving this a 4 out of 5 stars is for the issues I’m currently having with the app. I have been using this for a month or two and have had no issues, and absolutely love it as I’ve tried multiple tracker apps and this one I thought was the best. For a few days however, the app is continuing to not allow me to add any bills, and I have tried closing out, clearing it off my phone history, etc and it still won’t allow me to add any bills, and everytime I try to mark a bill as paid, it says unable to but then does it (least it’s working for that even though it’s prompting me that it isn’t working)That is the only reason I give this app a 4/5. Not sure if it’ll get fixed, but if it doesn’t then I can’t really track or use the app anymore after paying for it. But other than that, the app was great.

Update from Dec 31

I love the look and ease of use for this app. I have paid for the unlocked version and I use this daily, I have 2 major gripes. 1. I have tried to email daniel and the email keeps getting returned 2. I like to print or export a report that shows what I have paid so I can verify it has cleared with my financial institutions unfortunately there is no option for this. Currently I feel this is a 3 star and now without support I would be cautious to purchase. After submitting my review I still haven’t heard from the developer Very discerning. I guess they just made an app and abandoned it. It should be removed from the App Store.Today I found a linked email and sent another letter, I will update if/when I get a reply.

No notifications

I downloaded this because I needed help managing my bill reminders. I was able to get most of it set up, but I don’t get any notifications like the app says when I set up a new bill. I set it to remind me either a day or two before it’s due but I don’t get anything. I’ve enabled notifications, I’ve deleted the app and redownloaded it, but nothing happens. It’s also buggy when I add my income every payday. It’s like it doesn’t actually add it to my balance right away. I have to wait a few days. And even then it’s a gamble. I tried emailing the developer but I get an “email undeliverable” reply.

Love the app but not version 3.7.0

Updated to 3.7.0 today and now every time I try to log into my account it crashes. Currently on iOS 13.3.1 on iPhone 11 Pro. Tried on my fiancé’s iPhone X running iOS 13.3.1 and issue happened again. App runs fine until I log into account, during sync it crashes. Then app crashes instantly at launch since being signed in. Only way around it is to delete app, redownload, then try signing in again just to have it crash again. Please look into this or roll back the update. One feature I would like to see is the ability to add credit cards but when you make a payment towards a total balance, the payment actually shows a deduction so you don’t have to keep updating each month for the credit cards you don’t pay in full.

I love this thing!

Been using it for a couple of months now, was exactly what I needed to keep from unexpected bills hitting.. works great! There a a couple of bugs, like when you change a bill amount, the notifications don’t reflect the new amounts, but that’s ok.. I would like to have more control over reports, but it’s still the best app I have used so far..

Doesn’t seem to be supported anymore

This seemed like a great replacement for the defunct BillMinder app I used for years. Installed it, added every bill and it seemed fairly streamlined and had most of the features I want. That was a month ago, I now realize I get no notifications at all! Missed my mortgage payment due to this. And yes, all of my notification settings are correct. I also noticed that the supposed auto mark as paid feature doesn’t work at all. Just opened up the app and saw that two bills I had marked to auto pay, were days late, even though they had been paid by draft. When I sent an email to support, it came back as a bad email address. So save your money on this one and find something else that’s still supported. It’s a shame because I found this to be a great replacement for BillMinder.

Star Rating from 5 to 3..Annoying

I just paid for the full access today and I am so disappointed. When I swipe left to edit the amount of the bill, the amount does not change. I literally tried to do this 10 times and it’s not working! I also don’t see where I can edit a recurring bill for one particular month instead of changing the entire series of bills!! I even requested to hide my account balances and they are still showing!!! ****** UPDATE ******When I first downloaded the app, I was having a few issues with it and gave it two stars. I reached out to the developer and he responded right away and created an update that would resolve my issue! This app is everything I am looking for in a bill tracker app. I feel that it could be a few minor improvements but after speaking with the developer, I know this app is well on it’s way to becoming the perfect app!**********Another Update**********I took the app from a 5 star to a 3 start because it seems like every other month something is wrong with the app. When I logged on today it doubled all my bills and categories and it took the end dates off all the bills that I had end dates for. Also, (one again), when I hit “edit amount”, the amount does not change. This app is starting to become very annoying. I finally get a good system and flow going with my bills just for the app to mess up again and throw me off track!!!! If we have to pay to use the app, we expect it to work properly!!!!!

Awesome app!!

I have been using and checking out a number of bill management apps over the years. In my research I came upon Bill Tracker Pro and am extremely impressed. While not perfect it has enough features and characteristics to make bill management fun. (It almost makes me want to pay my bills just to be able to record and analyze the data!!). Another attractive feature is that that app can be used for free (with ads and other minor limitations). For ad-free and full functionality there is one time payment of $4.99. This is compared to others that attract a monthly subscription fee and are not as efficient as Bill Tracker Pro. The interface is the best I have seen. It presents the information in a pleasing and clear manner. The reporting function is pretty good although there are areas for improvement...eg. Reporting on income, breakdown of totals for categories and the ability to add subcategories. I am confident that the developers will address these and other suggestions. I have found them to be extremely responsive and understanding. I have communicated with them re bugs and made enhancement suggestions and they have always been receptive and have addressed some of these. I have given the app 4 stars pending a few more enhancements but must add that I am really impressed with where the app is at now and I know it has further heights to go. Great job, developers.
