Very handy app!

Im the tech for my entire family of 6 and my neighbors. This app is perfect for keeping batteries healthy.Just install, calibrate device right away (worth the wait), then set alerts for below 40% and above 75%. This can save you from having your phone shut off while you are out and about. One more tip: set your widget to show temperature. Temps going below 50F shorten the run time of phone batteries exponentially, and temps above 80F will kill the capacity even faster. Going out in the summer keep your device out of the sun and never leave in car. In winter keep it closest to your body heat as possible (inner coat pocket etc) unless using in your hand or charging. Charging generates heat so the battery will keep itself warm while its charging. But if its 95F+ or Below 0F you really have to be careful. Sometimes you just have to leave it home or you risk killing it.

Charge level alert does not work

My sole need from this app was an alarm that notifies when battery charges up to 80%, and when it discharges to 20%. Part of battery-life preservation routine. It has those settings, however I think it has successfully done it only once. To make sure I was not just missing short notifications, I sat right here with it and watched it charge to go from 74% to 96% without any notification. Perhaps the other functions are helpful to others, so I'm not giving 1 star, but it does not work for my need. Also, when I went to look for a link for feedback/help in the app itself, I could not find one. A shame.

Outstanding and free

This is the one to get. It actually runs video and checks websites like Google for an hour or something just ask what your battery can do. Then it’s able to accurately predict how long your battery can do those activities in the future. For example, my phone is at 50% and after the test, it shows that I can do GPS for an hour and a half if I weren’t plugged in. That’s the kind of stuff I need to know. Here’s a nice bonus. It will give you an alarm for Max percentage and charging, and minimum percentage when unplugged. You can sit more than one alarm I have mine set for 80 and 85% with a charging, and 40 and 45%. Some of the other apps charge if you want to sit in the AC minimum alarm. So, this app is better and also most important features are free. You can still pay for Pro, which is a good idea because the developer is obviously great.

Alarms instead of notifications would be awesome

I have had it less than a day, but so far the main thing that I would take another app for, would be a constant ALARM instead the one time sound or voice alert. The voice alert is a little better than the sound because it is a bit longer but still gets lost in the back ground noise. Today it did give me 100% charged banners twice, once at 90% and once at 95%. I started at 81% and had alarms set for 85,90 and 95%. Never got to 100% and no banner at 85% and no sound alert that I could hear in the car. (Volume was at max)I had it on in the background and Background App Refresh was on. (Only app of the three I am considering that has that option)There is only one other similar app that has a free widget and it was not as useful. I am running it on an iPhone 13+ IOS 15.5New phone, new to widgets, new to not having battery phone case. So I will really need the alarms.

Pretty good app!

Give indicator of what’s going on with the battery. Helpful to figure out whether th device is charging when you are having power cord and charger. Only complaint is that battery picture on the display sometimes is not always showing, but some of the other screen show when all I care about. Then Ihave to close app and reopentodhow battery picture. I don’t care to see the other dianostic screen. Maybe have a setting in preferences so that user can lock app to only show the battery picture to make things simple for users. Still I use this app daily on all my devices.

Fantastic!

I just transferred back to iPhone about six months ago after several years with windows phone. I had gotten really spoiled with the live tiles, and was delighted to discover that iPhone now has widgets. I decided about a month ago that I wanted a battery widget because I missed my live tile so much. So I downloaded a few, picked the nicest looking, and paid for the upgrade. Not only did it not work as advertised, but I never got a response from the developers! So a couple of days ago I gave up and downloaded every single widget battery app. And this one is perfect. It gives a rough estimate of how much life is left based on usage, the colors are beautiful, AND it’s free. Granted, I’m about to go and see if there’s a “tip” option because I have no issues paying a dollar or two for a well done app. Thank you for quality!!!

my battery stopped working And would not charge

Well that much has changed... it was at times just going off for no reason and the longer I’ve use this app that much has changed as well. I work as a retired person so I can really appreciate putting in money into an app that works before you put money into it that’s what I call a superb app. I just hope that by saying it I don’t ruin it for the next guy. Long live the just app makers. Lord knows the scammers are a dime a dozen.

Nice interface, notifications don't work.

The reason I downloaded this app was to be notified when battery levels reached an upper level as it charged and a lower level as the battery drained. These features are available in the Settings and the interface to set them are awesome - you can choose VOICE or SOUND to notify you when you reach your preferred upper level which you can set as a percentage battery value (in 5% increments) and also to notify you when a preferred lower level battery % is reached as your battery is drained from regular usage. Unfortunately, it works only when it wants to. Sometimes it does notify you as these levels are reached, sometimes it fails to notify you at all, and at times, it incorrectly notifies you that you have reached a set level even though you haven't (ie. it says you reached a set level of 90% even though you are at 79%). Since this battery level notification feature was the sole reason I downloaded the app, I decided to delete it from my phone (iphone 6) after a little over a month of daily use with terrible results in this respect. I did not use the other features of the app so I cannot comment on that.

If you care about your phone you need this App

I’m just gonna point one thing out about this 𝐃𝐎𝐏𝐄 App. Let’s just say you’re very familiar with how your phone functions, now depending on how each person uses their phone this app will send you Tips on how to conserve battery better, extend the life of the phone and battery based on what you use your phone for or how often and and even when you you use it the most. You can adjust setting to conserve the life of the phone and battery.I absolutely love it my new iPhone 12 Pro Max battery last about 1/3 longer just on the setting adjustments. Try it you’ll be surprised⚡️🔋📲 ⚡️

Overcharged no more

I downloaded the app after having a panic attack when my refurbished out of warranty iPhone 4s wouldn't charge although registering that it was connected to a valid charging device. I opted to replace the battery as well as my 30pin cord since the in home charging was the source of the failure. The tech advised that overcharging can kill my battery so I downloaded this app because of the alarm feature. I have the free version currently, because I wanted to make sure it would do what I needed in a way I could understand. My only complaint is that my phone seems to indicate full charge for several minutes before the alarm sounds. I'm not sure if I need to turn down the slider or if my preloaded battery indicator isn't calibrated properly. Will continue to monitor. So far so good
