Please use Touch ID!

I'm not a fan of having to enter my User Name each time I log in. I would greatly prefer that you go back to just asking for my pin, but I'd be really delighted if you would accept my Touch ID to log on. When I decline an order, it might be helpful if you ask me why I'm declining. Maybe the distance is too far for the price offered and we could negotiate, or perhaps I'm available 30 mins after the requested time and the BO is flexible. Thanks.

Great company but app is awful

I love working with Bancserv, however the app is the worst ever. I have to continuously delete the app and reload it multiple times a day. My profile and information gets deleted and I don’t get notifications. It’s so frustrating.

This app doesn’t use technology efficiently and Bancserv employees do not care about feedback

I have asked multiple employees to add a feature to send a reminder as a fail safe, but all of them more or less ignore me or tell me to go pound sand (they say it without saying it….but they absolutely ARE saying it)Most of the other notary apps and websites have a little more contact to help you out…..so that let’s say you’re highly distracted when you accept a signing and you forget to put it in your calendar (especially for same day signings!!!), the other sites and apps send more contact in the form of emails or some kind or reminders. Bancserv refuses to do so. They do not even want to add a feature to make it easy to add a signing to your calendar like some of the other companies do, i.e. Amrock, Signature Closers etc where all you have to do is hit a button to add it to your calendar. Other companies welcome feedback and work on improvement, but Bancserv tells you to pound sand if you ask for improvement.

Not reliable app

Something has happened to this app you can open it only once a day to except an order without having to remove it from your phone and reinstall it or shut your phone off and restart your phone. I have called Bancserv and informed them of this and they say there’s nothing wrong with the app. I’ve talk to IT people that work for other companies and they said there is definitely a problem with the app. They are not looking at. They are not talking to their IT people about I wish they would fix it I miss more work offers because I can’t get the app off the phone and back on the phone fast enough to see what I’m being offered. This is unfair to notary specially ones with my experience and level of expertise please fix your app!

Needs a whole redesign

I love working for Bancserv however the app needs a whole new redesign. I can no longer see my profile for weeks and even though my information is fine on the web version, on the App version I can see nothing. And when I get a quick notification even with the app open there’s still nothing there. I think they really need to look into this especially when notaries are out on the field.

Decent App

The app is decent enough to receive notifications of pending signing opportunities, but the app lacks the option to propose a different fee. One must actually call BancServ to request a different fee, and another notary can slip in and accept the appointment during the stand-by period while waiting for a scheduler to answer the phone and them look up the appointment.Otherwise, the app does what it does well; I just wish it did more.

Update made it worse

Was excited to see update but it’s made the app function worse. -once you select a map app, that locks in as the default. I like to use google maps when deciding whether or not to accept, but Waze for driving. Now I have to manually input the address to drive. -formatting updates make reading new notifications difficult. Date is cut off, etc. -sign in screen is sized such that pop up screen keyboard blocks the “sign in” buttonTHINGS THAT SHOULD BE DONE:-double click to reject or accept. I’ve had several instances where the phone slipped and I made the wrong selection.-export to or sync with calendar -allow user to select alarm sound. This update made it the same as several authors I have. Now I don’t know if there’s a new signing available or my vacuum is clogged. -stop telling me to upload a photo! Still, I really like it. It’s made the whole process much more efficient than when all appointments were arranged via phone. Now I can screen future signings while I’m in another.
