Miserable

I’d give it zero stars if I could. Did the monthly subscription to watch out of conference basketball games and have used it twice. First time the game stopped and went to a setup screen in the middle of the game - this happened twice. It says you can watch live or, if the game has already started, you can start from the beginning. Well, starting from the beginning doesn’t work. No matter what you try (going “back” or rewinding) you remain in live action and if there is a way to re-watch, I haven’t found it. This is the first and last time I’ll subscribe - just glad I didn’t do the yearly plan, even at a discount.

Game Playback

The replays of volleyball games are awful. Two specific examples- Nebraska vs. LBS the playback is choppy/pixelated. (It’s not my tv or internet I have checked- the picture is often pixelated on live action too.)Wisconsin vs Miami - the replay picture is literally cut in half and is impossible to watch.

Tv app is worthless and more

I haven’t been able to watch a game replay on the tv app. The screen during the replay is a solid color, usually red. I have tried un-installing and re-installing the app a few times. Nothing has worked. The picture quality when I airplay my phone to the tv is blurry/pixelated. For one of the most lucrative sports conferences in the country, B1G has somehow managed to make this app progressively worse.

Amateurish

Got the app to watch Nebraska-Lipscomb volleyball. The main male announcer is using a completely inferior microphone, and possibly is using Apple headphones circa 2010. You can hear hissing on the Ss and “puh” sounds when he says words that start with P. Is he even in the building? The female reporter sounds like she’s in the building but on the sidelines, shouting into a microphone. The video is shaky, like it’s being streamed from phones stationed around the building, and grainy when it’s steady. I’m glad most of Nebraska’s matches are on BTN.

Fire the BTN+ execs and developers already

For the last two years, I have signed up to a single school subscription and every time I try to watch a game, I receive a message saying I need to subscribe. When I go to the subscription page, I’m told I’m already subscribed. Whoever leads the development of this app should be fired immediately. And the Execs at the Big 10 who are in charge of BTN + also need to go. The conference and school are losing money. Where is the accountability? You should all be ashamed.

No football games?

What ami doing wrong? Trying to watch Rutgers vs. VT, which is on the BIG10 network right now, but I can’t even FIND it on this BIG10+ app? Not even a box score? What’s the point of this app, then? Deleting it, it’s of no use to me.

Caution!

I would very seriously advise anyone considering this app to think twice. It simply does not work well. Quality is generally poor, if you can get the games at all. The worst thing about this app is what they call BTN Plus. It is an in app purchase to watch non televised games. DO NOT subscribe to this service. It is a scam. Like many others have claimed in their reviews, I began watching BTN Plus content and came back after a commercial break to find out BTN2Go claims I do not have a subscription. No way to resolve. Although they had no problem taking my money 2 days prior, now I am told I do not have a subscription linked to my account. It’s theft. Make no mistake, they stole from me and many others. Worst support I have ever witnessed. BTN2Go support is some kid who answers the occasional e-mail in his mother’s basement. No other way to contact should you have a problem. I have contacted my bank and have disputed the 9.95 charge from BTN2GO.

Painful to watch

Bought lacrosse subscription - not cheap. Camera work is terrible - fuzzy picture and not able to follow action. Announcers are generally pretty good but sound quality is wildly inconsistent. One mic too hot - the other way too low.

DO NOT GET THIS APP!

This company does not have this app figured out. It has been completely overlooked and has SO many flaws. You cannot cancel your subscription, they don’t give you any contact information on who to contact to cancel a subscription, the app doesn’t even do what it is supposed to, AND they steal your money and don’t offer any refunds! DO NOT GET THIS APP! IT IS A WASTE OF YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!
