Rhyming is Wrong

I do enjoy this app. However, I got a little upset with some rhyming words that although weren't a match, it was the correct answer. APPLE does not rhyme with BOTTLE!

Disappointed

These apps are great for speech therapy and learning in general! Love them but I am very disappointed that no updates are available so I can’t even use them.

Apple and bottle?

Lovely app. Needs to focus on word families instead of apple rhymes with bottle.I am not the first to request this change.

Description

Autism iHelp is a vocabulary teaching aid developed by parents of a child with Autism and a speech-language pathologist. Autism iHelp was inspired by the need for specific language intervention tools for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder focusing on their unique strengths and difficulty with expressive vocabulary. Autism iHelp - Phonological Awareness targets much-needed pre-reading concepts including identifying and differentiating sounds in words, hearing beginning and ending sounds, and mastering the skill of rhyming.

Since many children with autism are often identified as 'word-callers,' exposure to metalinguistic practice involving phonological awareness is essential. Additionally, you are able to track your child's gains through progress reports that average the last 3 performances of each activity. “with Autism iHelp…..it gets better.”
