Great app. Not for iPhone X yet.
I loved Placer Cam. It was a lot of fun to use for unique titles. But it reacts very strangely to the iPhone X’s screen space. Basically it duplicates the top and bottom portions of the screen and uses that to fill in the extra space. So you get an odd output video. Hopefully it’ll be fixed soon.
Audio feedback problem.
I have no problem getting the app to do what you designed it to do. But when I am done placing the text and hit record, there is a feedback/echo that is horrendous to listen back to the video now. Is there a fix to this coming?
Fun Creative App for adding Text to video/pics
Love this app. Fun to use as your creating short video clips and pictures. If your on the fence Buy the app! 😁👍🏻
Easy to use
Very easy to use and responsive. Would like to see more typeface options in the future.
Doesn’t work as advertised.
The idea is really cool but the app doesn’t work as advertised. This should not cost money im mad that I paid for it. Text doesn’t stay in place. There are only 5 or 6 basic fonts. There is no direction on how to use the app. I do not recommend. It needs a lot of work.
Pretty Good..
Easy to use. Intuitive. I’d like to export it to an externally compatible format to edit in Premiere. If you know how, please share that information. Maybe a newer version will let one choose the video file format. Say “hi” to Peter M. for me!
Focus issues
The app takes some getting used to. The buttons aren’t the most intuitive, but my biggest issue is with focus. The ability to focus within the app seems to be stuck. If an object isn’t within 2 feet of the phone, it’s very blurry. Great concept but still has some bugs to work out.
Things to come
This app is awesome. Does the 3-D text in video perfectly. My only complaint would be the lack of features. But with it being such a new app I don’t doubt that there is much more to come. Things I would like to see. •Swivel text•More color options for text•More fontsAnd that’s about it. I can’t wait for all of these things to be added in the future.
This is a awesome idea.
I love the way this app makes something complex feel simple. Tracking text can be time consuming but now you can basically just drag and drop. I wish there was a way for this app to add track text in a prerecorded video. But it is still very cool
Still Needs Work
As already stated, I initially bought this app on my iPhone 6 which it didn’t work on. That was my fault for not reading the description. However, the next day I received my iPhone 8+ and while it does work most of the time I have had issues of it not being able to find a flat surface. Also having issues with the camera not focusing. I’ve tried adjusting camera settings to see if it will work better with no success.***Update****I have downgraded this app to 1 star because it no longer works at all. The last 10 times I’ve tried to use it the app has prompted me to look at ground or flat surface and does nothing when I do. Sorry, hopefully you get an update out quickly.***Update 2.0***New updates are great. Everything seems to be working perfectly now. Thanks for a cool app!!!
