While everyone was sprinting in the airport...

After our flight had been canceled, instead of sprinting to the customer service desk to get on the next flight out, I was sitting at the gate, peacefully chatting with a travel counselor who was able to rebook my flight through the Amex GBT Mobile app. I never even had to call! It’s so nice to have my itinerary all in one place to reference easily and message with an agent whenever I need to. This has saved me so much time and stress!!!! Thank you for making my life easier.

Nice update

Just updated to the new app and impressed with the changes. Very clean looking and the icons on the bottom of the screen are great. Not new but have always liked the ability to book a trip from door to door, including ground transportation, rather than just airport to airport.Keep up the good work.

Chat + Excellent Service = Happy Traveler

Last week I panicked when I got an alert that my flight was going to be delayed but your chat and service are top notch. Sitting in a mtg I was able to get immediate support from an actual human via chat which is so rare these days. I was so pleasantly surprised by the experience that I felt moved to write you. Thank you so much for saving the day!!

Tried to like it

This app is useless. What’s the point of an app when all you can do is - almost nothing. How can you come up with some stupid setup to be able to book a trip from this stupid app. That should be baked in it and not an extra feature on some Neo nonsense. You might as well just delete it because all I book I can check and get alerts from the airlines, hotels and car rentals I use for freedom their free apps. I don’t understand what’s the point for companies to use this and pay a fee when I still have to do the leg work booking it all on an outdated website or call an agent and be charged a fee for it. I should charge you for doing nothing.

Great Experience

On a recent trip with a connection in Houston, my first leg was delayed and it looked like I was going to miss my connection. Using this app, I was able to connect to an agent via the built in messaging, change my connecting flight and while other travelers on the flight scrambled once in Houston, I calmly walked off the plane knowing my connection was booked!

Less useful than a Call Center.

So, you’ve made an app. But I can’t do anything like cancel or modify a flight myself. I still need to talk to a person. But only through your app because you didn’t include the phone number in my itinerary. I have to download your app. Your app makes me sign up. You have privacy statements. Your app makes me talk to a bot. Your app queues me to talk to a person. Over text. Which means I can’t drive, or do anything else. I just sit here staring at my screen waiting for something to happen. All I want to do is phone someone, and say “I need to cancel that flight.” Or even better just hit a button to cancel it. But no, you have an app. An app that literally makes this more difficult than anything I have experienced before. And I get to pay for the pleasure. The only reason I use this is because my company forces me to use it. And I will now be actively campaigning for them to get something else. If this is the glorious future of apps, you can keep it.

World class service on the go...

Received notifications for flight delays and messaged an agent from the app. In a few minutes my flight was cancelled and a new one booked with a different airline. Simple and easy servicing while on the go. Don’t travel without it.

Lifesaver!

This app is so helpful! I’ve received notifications of gate changes before it was posted at the gate. I also appreciated the click to call feature to access an agent to assist with an urgent change request.

Quick & easy access to a GBT agent

I was stuck on a runway for an hour or more a few weeks ago at around 8pm. There was a weather issue so I suspected that we would be turned back to the gate. For security reasons with all the delays, I was not willing to fly out later and arrive at my destination at 1am. Rather than wait to get back to the gate, I chatted with an agent on the GBT app and booked a hotel near the airport and rebooked my flight for the next day morning all from my plane seat. It was easy and convenient. Sure enough, we turned back and while most folks were rushing to the gate agents, I walked out of the aircraft and headed to the hotel for a good night’s rest. Next morning, I was all set to take on the world !!
