Dying for Part 2!

I loved this game when it initially came out and have been waiting ever since for part two. Glitch games, you guys are my absolute favorite and I’ve been eagerly (patiently) awaiting the sequel for this game. [On that note...I am also eagerly waiting for y’all to come out with ANY new game soon. I’ve played A Short Tale 3 times, Veritas twice, and I’m currently in the mist of my 4th time playing the Forever Lost Series (getting ready to replay Forever Lost 3). While playing I came across your requests to review the game. I assumed I probably wouldn’t be able to review it twice, but I’ve become so hungry for new content I figured I’d return and send in a second review in hopes to gently nudge (or shove...whatever works) y’all to please gift the world with a new game.]Counting down...until then, thanks for all y’all do!

Can’t wait for the next one

I’ve really gotten into these games lately, playing one Glitch Game after another. I like the scenarios that are dreamed up, the challenge level of the games, and I actually really enjoyed the banter. I know some didn’t, but I thought it suited the age and sibling status of the two, who really don’t fully understand what’s going on or how dire the situation may or may not be. Have to admit I needed help a couple times, so I, too, missed the hint system, though usually the answer was less complicated than I made it. Anyway, thanks and please hurry with the sequel!

Is there a glitch

First off. You use to be able to make the pics small and still be able to write on them...now you can’t. Makes it very hard to look at other pics then remember then find the pic you want to write on. Of course the pictures taken still aren’t in the order that you take them. Really wish that this would be fixed as well. Now to the game. Got the the pipes using the arrows on the fridge. This made absolutely no sense. Had to use a walkthrough. Used the walkthrough with pics of the box and it still wouldn’t work. Tired another walkthrough. Same thing. The box arrows are printed the correct way but the letters that light up don’t correspond. I pad for this game. Gods thing only $1.99. I’ve played all other glitch games and seems like the first forevers were without problems but then hitches and black screens.

10/10 would buy again!!

I love glitch games! I'll start by saying that every glitch game app I've downloaded has been stellar and I highly reccomend all of their stuff. There's no ads or arbitrary "energy" limits and none of the other money grubbing features that makes free apps miserable to play. Just hours of well-constructed entertainment. I stumbled upon Forever Lost a while back and I was hooked from the free preview game (Alice's Cabin I think it's called). I don't normally pay for apps but I immediately downloaded the first one and I was so hooked I had to download the whole series to find out what happened. I made my sister and boyfriend download them too and were all obsessed. I was so excited when I saw glitch had come out with new stuff! I liked this app even better than FL! It's soo worth the money. The quality is so good and the puzzles are challenging enough that you dont finish the whole story in one sitting but not so hard that you have to look up hints. and the storyline is really interesting. I love how glitch incorporated voices this time and the animation is so realistic. You can tell they really put so much time and effort into making an awesome game. Can't wait for part 2!!

The best games...

Glitch Games develops the best games, no doubt about it. I just finished playing the beta “Veritas” (9 hours total) and I’m absolutely in awe of how well that game was made. The puzzles were fantastic, the graphics and gameplay were outstanding. The game had ZERO glitches, and it was absolutely flawless. Well done. I’ve now played every single Glitch Game and I’m bummed that there aren’t more! I just recently found these games so I purchased them all and undoubtedly they were the funnest games I’ve played. I’m not exaggerating. The Forever Lost trilogy was my favorite after Veritas, but I really liked every single game, including All that Remains and A Short Tale. To the developers-y’all are talented and I’m now a huge fan. To anyone looking for great games that are LONG and challenging and totally FUN, definitely give ANY Glitch Game a try. You won’t be disappointed!!

Awesome!!

ONLY reason I am giving this 4 stars is because I felt that the mindless banter between the brother and sister through the radio didn’t really fit the narrative of trying to escape to save her from harm. I would think there would be more of an urgency and eagerness to the issue rather than talking about birthdays and reminiscing about their childhood. The sister sounds more like she’s relaxing with a glass of wine rather than hiding from danger. Then again, it was a nice break to the serious nature of the game. Maybe it would work better if it wasn’t so thick with small talk. At the same time, I did love the idea of the radio. I am a HUGE fan of glitch games and of course, you’re always alone in all of their games. It was a great dynamic to be able to talk to a live person and hear an actual voice. I love the throwbacks to Forever Lost in all these games. Hawthorne and J. Bethlam were mentioned in a letter. I like the puzzles! They were challenging and awesome! Excellent game play as always Glitch Games delivers a masterpiece to their legacy! ❤️

Really great game!

My 11 year old step daughter have played all of forever lost series and are now working on FBDO and the forgotten room. Once I saw this had released we were all over it and were SO EXCITED to see some familiar names and were happy to have some challenges instead of tempted to go straight to the hints. So we both have some feedback with the developers of this game. 1. There is only 1 bug, while you’re on the computer it will not let you view what’s on the screen, and when you hit back button you’ll get a very short flash of what’s on the screen. Rebooted the game and it then worked. 2. Part of us loving this game so much is that there are multiple episodes to one game (forever lost 1,2,&3) and we LOVE that in some of this game you see some things that you become familiar with in FL. So keep tying these stories together it’s really great! 3. I personally love the eerie creepyish gameplay, and I think with knowing that something might happen when you figure out a puzzle or a hint keeps you on your toes but also doesn’t make you panic with a time limit to figure stuff out, meaning that you have no rush to enjoy the gameplay thinking that something scary may happen if you don’t finish fast. ALSO, we don’t play these games unless we’re together, so we would both like to ask to test for you guys if you’re looking for someone to play and give feedback. Thank you for a great game!Paige&Lily

No Hints?

I really enjoyed all the Forever Lost games, so I purchased this without hesitating. The story line so far seems interesting. The in game camera/ notes system is awesome. (Especially for those multilayered puzzles) But, why did you get rid of the hints option? I can't be the only one that gets stuck from time to time. I especially liked them in Forever Lost 3 where it would give you a clue and under was the option to click how. Most, of the time what I was stuck on was so small it didn't warrant an entire walkthrough. (Like not seeing an object to pick up despite having been back to that location several times) Whenever I look up walkthroughs online they inevitably show steps in the process I would have rather liked to figure out myself. Plus, with hints, it's nice to backtrack to review what you've already done. Please bring this back.

Great game!

When it's the next one coming out? You guys are not making games fast enough! I just wish they were longer. My main recommendation would be adding the hint option I really liked the hint option for one of the forever lost games (can't remember exactly which one but I think it was forever lost 3) and I wish that they all had the same option. It was perfect because it's didn't totally give away the answer, but pointed you in a direction. The only thing I didn't love about this particular game was all of the back and forth banter over the walkie talkies. It was annoying.I love these games and I don't mind paying for them, is so worth it I think.

Another great game from Glitch

Between Glitch and Fireproof games, the true masters of the puzzle/escape genre have emerged. This is another masterpiece from the Glitch team, with just enough puzzles of just the right difficulty to be a really great play. The clues are so well hidden and naturally environmental that you really do have to think, it’s not just “Oh, this door is locked. Oh, there’s a key over here.” - there are layers that make you exercise your brain.I do agree with others who have said that the delivery by the main character was a bit disappointing. The dad-jokes are cute, but his reads are weak. And the upbeat nature of his counterpart’s responses took you out of the mood of the story somewhat. Despite that, I can’t wait for Part 2.

Description

“Duncan Price is paranoid” they used to say. He’s just a “local nut” they said. They used to say a lot of things about him.

Now they don’t say anything. Because they’re dead. Waking up in what appears to be his father’s old bunker, Campbell Price is confused. Last night was pretty crazy, but not THAT crazy. How did he end up here? Hearing a familiar voice over a 2-way radio, your sister says you’ve been put in the bunker for your own safety. Fearing for your sister’s life, who has also been locked up for her protection, you must escape the bunker and find her before it’s too late. Before you’re all that remains. Features: • In game camera so you can take photos of all the clues you find. Less back tracking! • Plenty of puzzles to get stuck on. • Beautiful soundtrack composed by Richard J. Moir. • Auto-save feature, never lose your progress again!
