Image Art Treasures! But Problem

The art effects are very creative — algorithms of joy! And the developers are very responsive to feedback. Still not happy about having to pay for each full-resolution (“HD”) image I create. You can make images for no-charge, but the low resolution makes the images of little worth — the size of postage stamps. Also, even with the purchasing of the decent resolution images you create, the clarity of the images lacks a bit. The app needs improved image quality and quit reaching into customers' pockets every time they create an image. Given that, this will be a stellar app! Very creative art applied to your images!

Network error

I love this app, but I can’t seem to use it as every time I try a filter on my artwork I get “Network Error” 100% of the time. It’s very frustrating to not be able to use a great app because of a technology error that seems to be on the developers side and not on the users side. I just joined 3 days ago and I still have yet to publish a piece due to this network message. Unless this gets fix I will delete the app and advise many of my artists friends not to use this app. Like another reviewer, I use this app for my photography and to truly make one of kind digital art on my own artwork. If only it wasn’t broken. Please fix this issue

They take your money for HD, but don’t deliver anything

Would be great if HD worked...at all. The non HD version is not of sufficient quality to be useful offline. Tried emailing for fix/solution, while they did respond, they did not help. I paid for an HD image and never received the image. It just keeps saying “generating” weeks later. At this point there have been enough complaints that you are bordering on being a scam. You know you have a problem generating the HD images, but you continue to charge for and not deliver the HD product. I tried your website, this also doesn’t generate an image from a photo...circle infinitely spins on the screen.

Useful for basic inspirations, and kinda fun.

I’m an independent video-game developer, and having an AI assist in compiling details to help inspire some interesting art design is useful. I always have a lot of 3D objects I need to make, and my brain gets pretty exhausted of inspiration after a while. This AI app can help me think outside the box and add odd details that I wouldn’t have that help improve the overall unique style of a 3D model. The designs aren’t perfect, and often I want things like machines that require more symmetry. However the AI doesn’t make many things symmetrical, which would be a definite improvement.

Fun

Fun app to use and some very nice effects. I do not like the coin system especially, but I can see where it is useful to be able to purchase only the effects one likes and not be paying more for a complete set. Maybe there could be an option to purchase all or just what one wants. One problem I have is I bought some effects before I set up an account. When I put the app on my other ipads the effects will not transfer. My fault I guess. I should have set up my account before purchasing effects.

Network Error 24/7

A complete love/hate relationship with this app. It’s filters are AMAZING-when it works. There’s a “network error” 95% of the time. I’ve reinstalled numerous times, restarted my phone, tried different images/filters, WiFi / LTE, morning/night.. nothing seems to help. It’s more just a lucky try when it does work. This is by far the best painting filter app out there, which makes it very frustrating! I use it to help me envision my photographs as paintings before I paint them, so I would totally purchase this app if that guaranteed the network errors to be clear. Please, please fix the bugs or whatever the glitches may be.

Filters paid for w “coins” only worked once

Used coins to get filters and used them at the time and it was great. Haven’t used the app in a couple months and it’s now telling me I don’t own the filters I paid for. Maybe you have to use coins to unlock the pro filters every session? If that’s the case, it’s not worth it. I guess I’ll just use a free Adobe app instead. I liked that this had specific settings for certain looks but you also can’t see what it will look like on your photo until after you spend the coins. 8/10 times it’s not great and has weird textures.

Stopped working

It started good! I bought some filters and used them and then the purchase didn’t work! That’s fine! I continued using it with the available filters, but it’s been days all filters and everything doesn’t work and it said “Network problem”, I tried it on different devices and the network is very strong and it doesn’t work! I’m not sure if I’m going to keep it or delete it! I hope you do your best to make it work as it was in the very beginning! Or just fix and progress it! It’s for me much better than thousand other apps! Thank you!

Lovely images, only if you want them small

Even with HD, the resolution of the images was lacking. Not something I would be interested in paying for. The images are quite good, and I like that you can vary the intensity of images which does greater ability to create stunning images. It’s just that you can expect to have them be very big. Disappointing. The dinging you for each and every HD is annoying. You basically can get 20 HD images for $10 bucks. Very disappointing.If they were stellar and able to print large sizes (13X19 in) would possibly reconsider.

Mixed Review

Update: I heard back from support and tried the things they suggested AGAIN. Still nothing. Still have three images that never generated (that I paid for). Still haven’t received the images I emailed to them to fix. My review stands, minus one star. I have moved on. While the App itself is easy enough to use, and the generated results are extremely cool, it needs to work better. I’ve tried to generate HD photos four times. Only twice did I get the images. I don’t want to pay for coins to generate images that only work half the time. While their support did try to make amends, they did not rectify the problem or refund the coins. I think it’s time to move on and find a better product.
