Really awesome FREE app.

My husband and I just started using this app. We don’t have any major issues but I love to find ways to connect. You can buy a subscription for pretty cheap but you can 100% get value out of the free app, which is what we are using now. Every day you get a question - it can be picked for you or you can choose from a category. You answer the question and then your significant other answers. Both have to answer to see the other person’s answer. Love it. You can send love notes. I know you can text that, but it is special to see a notification in Agape that you were sent something. You can do a relationship wellness check once a week to let you know what to work on. Agape definitely creates awareness and is super easy to use.

Love it! Just wish premium wasn’t so expensive…

My boyfriend and I started using this app a few weeks ago and have really enjoyed if. It is so sweet to read his answers and I look forward to reading the new questions every morning. Some of the questions aren’t applicable to us since our relationship is fairly new and is love to skip those ones, but that’s a parenting feature. $15/month is insane. $180/year?! Yikes. Doesn’t seem worth it. That’s more than I pay for my TV streaming apps. I believe it used to offer it to me for $50/year. No idea why it jumped up so high. If I could pay a monthly fee that was $5/month, I would subscribe in a heartbeat. Just can’t justify the price. May look for a similar app and switch over if I can find one in the price range I’m looking for. Maybe add different levels of premium to add a more affordable option… Such as daily question skip and up to 3 additional categories as the paid features.

a must for all couples

i kept seeing this app on tiktok and i honestly didn’t have the highest hopes for it at first. i thought it was going to be just a money grab and didn’t do much for relationships but i can admit when i am wrong and this was one of those times. my boyfriend and i religiously use it everyday and we have been together for three years now and are learning stuff about each other we didn’t even think to share with one another. it has helped us grow from just a college couple learning how to have an adult relationship, to moving in together, adopting two cats, and now getting ready to move across the country together. the questions that are available if you choose the free option are helpful, informational, and inventive. it asks questions that spark further conversations and it makes easier to talk about more different topics. we have even used it after arguments to help settle and calm our minds so we can talk in a healthy manner to one another. the only con is that i wish it had more available for the free option but i will say you do get a lot out of the free option and if you choose to pay for the year subscription it’s worth it in the long run. i am very happy with this app! :)

You’ll love this App!

I sent my boyfriend the link to download this App without explanation thinking, “maybe he’ll be interested in doing this with me every once in a while?” To my pleasant surprise, my man began and still to this day, answers the Daily Question everyday first thing in the morning!! This App helps couples establish and maintain connection. My boyfriend and I love it because we are long distance (we live roughly one hour away from one another). We both keep busy schedules and work jobs that hold a lot of responsibility, so we only get to see each other on the weekends. One of our favorite things to do is call at night and discuss our answers to the App that day. This App has helped us deepen our relationship, establish emotional intimacy and strengthen our communication. Thanks so much Agapè 🤍

I never write reviews but for this I will!

Me and my girlfriend have only had this app for a week but we both love it so much. It has let us talk to each other about topics and questions we never thought about or felt like we could talk to each other about. This has let us deepen our connection with one another. Now I feel comfortable talking to her about topics that I didn’t before. I highly recommend getting this app for you and your partner. Even with a strong relationship it is still a good way to communicate with your partner and create conversations. 10/10 recommend. We were in an argument early and once the new question came up and I awnsered it she awnsered it back and texted me and apologized.

Fun way to have good conversations with your partner

First of all, I really like the intentions of the app. It’s helped my partner and I have a place for some more serious conversations and helps us talk about things we sometimes forget to talk about. Overall this functions well in the app and I like that it sorts through different categories of topics. Functionality wise, there’s room for improvement. The messaging interface always keeps text I’ve sent in the text box. So if I come back to a conversation and want to say more I need to delete that. Also the notifications don’t always clear and are often irrelevant after a day but stay unread. Some bugs with these aspect could be improved. Going forward, I’d want a want to organize the conversations I have rather than leaving them all saved on the main screen and to go through them I have to scroll.

Saved our relationship!

My partner and I have been using this app for almost 2 years and it has definitely saved our relationship. Our entire relationship has been long distance so we struggled to find ways to connect, but this app changed the game for us. After downloading agape, we were able to find new ways to show our love for each other and it helped us with discussing difficult topics that we may not have brought up on our own. The questions really allow us to dig deep and express our appreciation for each other which is exactly what we need while being thousands of miles apart. I definitely recommend this app and can’t express how much it has truly saved my relationship

Works when you both make it work

Just like the relationship itself, the app really works well when you both invest into it. The prompts have really good insight into yourself and the relationship; the fact you can’t see your partner’s answer until you send in yours is good too. Being able to go back through answers and also share memories is a good touch. The free version has a lot of good prompts, and the paid version is great for specific topics and dives in deep with those. Being in an LDR, this gives us things to talk about that happen in our daily lives that we don’t normally think about, and having conversations about those things brings a different spark into our dynamic. Both partners have to use it honestly and give the same effort to make it fruitful, and it builds investment. It’s a fantastic step for relationship health (NOT a tool for therapy)!

Can’t recommend this app ENOUGH!!!

One of the best things to come out of TikTok. This app is a goldmine for couples, no matter WHAT stage you’re in. Not only is it something sweet for those of you who are in the Honeymoon phase and want to get to know each other (good for y’all😉) It’s also very useful for folks that have been with their partner for a considerable amount of time and sometimes scramble to find new things to talk about (no shame in it!!) Even if you and your significant other find yourselves butting heads more than usual, have no fear, because Agapé also has an ENTIRE SECTION dedicated to unpacking your intentions and emotions with your partner. The crazy part is that this is the FREE VERSION I’m talking about!!! Zero Dollars to take steps to knowing your significant other inside and out. For those of you who want to know your partner deeply, who find simple and mundane details about your partner just as beautiful as the complex, stop reading and HIT THAT INSTALL BUTTON 🥹

good start but needs some work

The concept is great and we like the questions, but the app has some functionality issues. Both me and my partner get notifications saying the other person has answered a question when they didn’t, and the red notification badge shows up randomly and then when we open the app, there’s no new notifications. It also keeps your last response in the text field so if you want to add anything to the conversation, you have to delete everything before you can say something new. All the previous answered questions are just kept in a list on the home screen so a way to organize them and look back on them would be nice. Maybe be able to view responses by category? Would also really like an option to turn off daily reminders and still be able to get notifications when my partner responds. I’ve turned off all app notifications because of this as well as the phantom notification bug. The free version is okay, but we wanted the extra questions and would have paid for premium if there was a monthly subscription option. Paying $50 up front doesn’t fit into our college student budgets, but we would have been happy to pay a few dollars a month.
