Receipt validation overview
An App Store receipt provides a record of the sale of an app or any purchase made from within the app. You can authenticate purchased content by adding receipt validation code to your app or server.
There are two methods for validating a receipt: local (on-device) validation, server-side App Store validation.
Here you can find the official App Store server-side validation guide.
Here you can validate any App Store receipt online: Apple Receipt Checker
Implementing in-app subscription and validating receipts is a complicated and laborious process. It requires building a backend infrastructure, digging deep into Apple's receipt validation documentation, and maintaining the infrastructure later on. Qonversion offers a simple solution for quick in-app subscription implementation. No need to build your own server. Learn more about Qonversion here.
