Apple fiscal payment calendar 2022

If you’re an owner of a mobile app that works on Apple devices, you need to know how to track the revenue and – which is equally important – when you’ll get paid your App Store earnings.

Apple App Store payment cycle is pretty tricky to understand, especially if you published your mobile app to the store for the first time. Last year we shared an in-depth review of the logic behind Apple’s financial calendar. Below is a short review of the fundamental principles of this payment cycle:

• Last Sunday of September – is the first day of Apple’s fiscal year.
• Each week starts on Sunday (according to the US calendar).
• Each quarter includes three fiscal months: the first one contains 5 fiscal weeks, the other two – 4 weeks. 
• Usually, there are 33 days between the end of the fiscal month and the payment from Apple.

According to Apple, Q1 2022 begins on the 26th of September 2021.
