Great app but

The app works great and flawlessly except that if your using an iPad with display zoom - show more space, the app’s Home Screen widget’s font aren’t correctly showing as the fonts are uneven.

No 24 HR Clock?

Great app. I did think a 24HR clock option would’ve been available for the money; but I just don’t see it. The available link to the website actually took me nowhere.

Totally Awesome and well thought out!

What’s great is that one can slide whatever time to determine the other zone times. And it also has sunrise and sunset times. Now that’s cool

Zones App by TOM Izard

Clumsy App. You can’t rename a local time zone. I entered name of city and state and tried both options (reset name and Done) but neither saved new name. I tried to go to support page and hit a dead end web page. The app does provide times in all zones I requested and you can change sizes of text boxes, but it would be nice if you could rearrange them or put in a list.

Revised review, now 5*

I originally wrote: “This used to be a very useful app. But latest “upgrade” has alas disabled much functionality, and repeated demands to buy paid pro version.” The developer (Tom) replied back to me and in an exchange showed me how to restore full functionality to the app, especially number of cities I could add. I needed to go to Settings, and under “Zones Plus” restore my prior purchase. Not immediately obvious I had to do this, but once I did this, the app’s functionality was fully restored. So I have changed ranking from 1* to 5* and thank Tom for great user response.

Aesthetics mattter

I had used this app for quite some time, yet not for the past few months. In accessing it again, I see the layout (all black and white) has turned a program that was pleasing to view into something that may be useable, yet is now distinctly unattractive. Please reimagine the program. Good things do not always need to be changed, and appearance factors into how enjoyable the program is for daily use.

Everything I needed

I had a short list of things I needed out of a time converter app 1) see multiple time zones, at least 5 as a time 2) have the ability to check hypothetical times (like you scrub the time to see different times in all the time zones listed) 3) iOS 14 widget to see this on my Home Screen Bonus: see sunrise and sunsets times, one time purchase for premium version. This app does it all and is super generous with the free version. All the issues I saw from reviews that weren’t 5 stars were asking for this feature or that, and it’s clear the developer has been listening because they’ve all made it in here as of 2021. While I don’t need the premium version, I think I may just go for it to support the great work. One thing to note do new users; check the settings for features. It’s packed with goodies.

Reduced my stress

This app is fantastic. So easy to use and helps me to make sure that I am not missing meetings in the future because of Time conversion errors. Particularly with changing daylight savings times around the world

Very useful

So simple yet so useful. Easy to pick any date/time in any time zone then see it in other zones. Can’t believe big players like Google , Apple, etc. can’t come up with something like this for their calendar apps in today’s globalized world.

Best time zone app

It is highly legible. It allows quick conversion between different time zones. The calculation is fast and responsive. My work requires me to calculate meeting times across multiple time zones. It does this far more efficiently and faster than any other converter, and it allows me to see all the time zones at one glance.
