PLEASE clear out the old high scores!!
What will it take to get you to clear out the OLD high scores? There are some names in there that haven't played in years - what is the point in keeping those old scores if they don't play anymore? Make it fun for the folks who are playing NOW. A few of those perfect scores of 2500 were playing and got those scores when hardly anyone was playing this game. Easy to win every time if you're only pretty good, but have little competition.Fun game, some weird words in the game dictionary and also the arbitrary inclusion of some proper nouns. Kyrgystan? Really? At least the game has taught me how to spell a few of these... ;)
Great design
The devs put a lot of thought into every aspect of this games design. Each game board contains a small number of very long words. Certain long words will reappear maybe once every 20 games or so... Its rewarding to stick around so you can recognize them the second time around. The set of long words is refreshed every hour and there is a great balance between fresh long words and repeating long words. I love how names of countries count as words.Lots of thought put into stats, rankings, graphics as well.~ Skittlache
I like it!
One of my favorite games. Just upgraded from a really early version, and can’t find an explanation of the different colors of found words (yellow, orange, red), or of any of the scoring for that matter. Hopefully I’ll figure it out as I go, but it’s great fun anyway.
if you have the paid version, keep this advice in mind!
it's a decent game. Be sure and pick your player ID cautiously, ppl get offended easily of course. One thing that I don't particularly like abt this game is that apparently if you delete the app, even if your game data is saved in the cloud, you still have to spend money again if you decide to reinstall the game on your device. SO REMEMBER if for any reason there's a glitch in your app and they instruct you to uninstall and then reinstall, you WILL have to pay again if you want the paid version, and honestly it is totally annoying waiting for the friggin ads in the free version. Smh. I guess I have mixed feelings about paying multiple times for the very same game but I go through phases where certain games sound great until I'm in the mood for smthn else. I don't have any extra memory on my device so I have to pick and chose and then do it all over again. So ya after you pay 4 or more times for the game, it's frustrating for sure.
Keep getting a critical error message
Says my account is logged in at multiple locations but as far as I know I've only ever loaded the program in my iPhone. Don't know how to fix!!
My Favorite Boggle Implementation
November 2020 Edit:The once fantastic app has seemingly been abandoned by the developer. It was once amazing, but for most of 2020 (as if we didn’t already have enough problems) the game has been plagued with enough issues to make playing less and less enjoyable. Currently, it’s stuck on the same game board. Such a shame. Original review:I’ve been playing this game for years, and while not perfect, it is as good a solo implementation of good ol’ Boggle as I’ve tried (I’ve tried many).Pros: The games don’t drag on. The game boards are not random, so there are longer words to find. While you can see how others did on the same board (scoreboard), this is more of a bonus rather than a strict competition. There are four different ways to score; some of these require being unlocked (just keep playing and you’ll get there). Great to be able to play anywhere from one round to an hour of play - start and stop whenever you like. Cons: While the dictionary is good, it is not complete. I find myself frustrated at times entering in a word that isn’t recognized (nard comes to mind). Finally, I can’t prove it, but receiving a “Connection Lost” error happens a LOT whenever I reach the top all-time 10 leaderboard. It’s become a joke. Just now I got such an error, and yup, I had just hit #10. If this is not intentional, it’s a bug.
What happened?
The game is working but the previous high scorers are not cleared out between sets. It used to show the results from each game and who did the best but now it shows one score with the last game’s word and it doesn’t change. Please fix.
Great game but dying of neglect
This game has been a favorite of mine for years. But lately it’s been going completely haywire. Scoreboards contain bad data, the displayed number of players varies wildly, from fewer than 10 to more than 2000, and the same game reappears sometimes within just a few minutes. Please get this stuff fixed!!
Great game if they fix the scoring issues
The game is fun to play and I slayed out well, however the scoring is erroneous much of the time. For example the game might tell me I received a score of 110 out of 192. In the final ranking display it show 19 and ranks me accordingly. Sometimes it shows that others got 250% of the words and the ranking board shows a word that was not in the round. Disappointing, so please fix!!
