Many problems

June 6, 2018Perhaps with a few bug fixes this will be fun again, but right now, bring lots of patience, or skip it. The game freezes up much, to white screens or black ones. Also, when trying to get free coins, you have to watch a video that is 30 seconds in length. No problem, except six times in the last hour, it stops and you cannot get the video started and if you close out the video, you don't get your coins. Currently, this game is more frustrating than it is worth. Until it gets fixed, I'm out!

Difficulties

I have played this game over some months, I play it most during my leisure, till I changed my phone I realized I cannot continue playing from level I stopped on my old phone using the same account I used In downloading the first app, but then I have completed over 1500 level in the levels ....! And I noticed downloading the new one there was no levels as I loved in the other app on my old phone.I am writing this review for you to make this game with logins if possible, so that whatever level I stop I can continue even on another device, because I can’t start over and over when I change my phone, best wishes, Thank you. How I feel about this game

The game isn’t that hard and I’m 12 I think some levels aren’t hard and most of the time the ads aren’t long and can get skipped but to be honest it’s super easy you could just kinda spam the letters and then get a word also there are to many short levels with like five easy to find words so that means if I complete a lot of them super fast I have to go through a lot of words and it’s not that fun but I kinda do find it fun when I want to do something with out much challenge and kinda wanna know a new word for me brain 2/5 would recommend

This game is super fun, UNTIL the ads start invading game time. I timed it just because I was inundated with ads. I watched the 75 extra points at the end of the round. (30 secs). Then new round and immediately a 30 sec ad for Disney with no exit. Played one level, and another 30 sec ad for Disney. Another level, and at the end of that, I tapped “No thanks” instead of the extra 50 points. It ran another 30 sec ad for Disney even though I said No Thanks. So it forced a 30 sec ad anyway without the extra points. Then played 2 more levels and another 30 sec ad for Disney. So that’s 2 forced minutes of ads in less than 4 minutes! Yeah, takes the fun right out of it!

Too easy, not exciting

UPDATE: I’ve lowered my rating from 3 stars to 2 because the puzzles are so easy they can be finished in seconds. Then you yawn through ads longer than the time you played. I expected them to get harder as the levels increased, but they didn’t. I still think the game is O.K. but more for children than adults. A 10 year old might find them challenging and give the app a good review, but I think most adults will get bored fast. I don’t want to discourage or insult the programmers, but the reason I gave it a low rating is because we don’t mind watching ads as a trade-off for a well designed game, but I feel this one abuses that concept. I suspect the app is just an excuse to display as many ads as possible without investing much time and effort in development. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This isn’t a bad game; it’s just nothing special. I finished 75 puzzles to give the game a fair chance. It was easy and relaxing, but soon got boring. Maybe it gets more challenging later, but then I feel they should increase the difficulty sooner. Or maybe it’s for children. I got tired of sitting through so many invasive ads because there was nothing exciting to look forward to. Maybe if it had more interesting graphics, or there was a payoff in the form of seeing your score compared to other people, or you were working towards a goal, it would have retained my interest.

Addicted

I play a lot before I go to sleep, as I’m laying in bed. I keep saying “just one more game” and before I know it an hour has gone by. Love this game. I got over 10,000 points and got a new phone and had to start over again, boohoo. Only wish they would give extra points for the harder ones they throw in there. If they are going to tell you it’s a difficult one, they should give you points for completing.

Touch screen not responsive

I do like the the game, but my main frustration is that I usually have to press and hold the first letter to pull it up, sometimes several times. So I have to slide the word over and over again if I try to slide at a normal speed. I’ve played other crosswords and I don’t have this issue. It’s like a delay in the programming. Also, I’m at level 55 and the words are still extremely easy.*After trying to slide the word “send” 4 times and getting “end,” I’m going to have to move on from this app.

Great game!

I love playing this game everyday, right now I am on 200. It’s a nice learning game for kids like me. But there is one problem, on my moms phone has challenge mini games but on my iPod it doesn’t have it. I think mini games should be able to be on any device, it is more fun having mini game on the app. But besides that I think this game is great and awesome and kids should get this app to learn more about letters and words so they can grow up having a smart brain.

Bug needs fixing

Sometimes when you look at an add and then close it, the screen does not return to the game and you end up having to reboot the iPad. If you are quick at making words and connecting the letters, the line between the letter freezes and you can’t continue making the word. Other than that, I enjoy the game, better than others I have played. Hope you can fix the bugs. Once the bugs are fixed I will rate the game again.

I couldn’t stop playing until I finished

I’m a massive, expert-level crossword fan and also enjoy Scrabble (though not a fanatic there) and found this game very enjoyable, calling on skills and challenges that come up in both games. The game play is smooth, the puzzles come in a variety of shapes, sizes and levels of difficulty (hardest and biggest being my favorite), and the inclusion of bonus points for off-board words and means to get hints is great. While the app is ad-supported, I found the ads generally less annoying than in other games. As final testimony to how much I enjoyed this game, I will mention that I passed through ALL 2100 levels, and received a message that I’m done with the game for now, until if and when more levels are added.
