I like the whole month widget. However, I have an issue with creating events. There is no way to set a default calendar different than On Device. I would like to set it for my google calendar because that’s what I find to be the best fit for me.
I’m glad that the classic widget style is still included and functional with the new iOS. I love how I can select the other data to quick compare schedules and see what is coming up next. Kind of a pain with other calendar widgets or the new versions of this app how it opens the full calendar app.
Have been looking for a full calendar widget and it delivered what I need. Someone was having issues with iPhone 8 plus: just restart the phone and it will ask for calendar permission, allow it and you are good to go.
Adding an option in the widget today view for up coming events for the week or month to be seen. Right now you can only see what for today. You have no view for the week or month on the widget view for events.. also an option toScroll through the months without having to click into it. THIS WOULD MAKE IT 5 stars for me. Simple and user friendly
PS: for anyone having issues with viewing the old school widget, restarting my iPhone and redownloading the app restored the option to add the calendar to my widgets!Thank you for keeping the old style iOS widget available (before the new iOS 14 style widgets). The new style is pretty but the old version allows me to see much more information regarding my different schedules by allowing me to view everything I have planned each day across every month without having any of the info truncated or having to open another application on the side to actually see my schedule. I wish the newer style iOS 14 widget version of this app also allowed you to see the expanded info in detail like that, but I am extremely happy I can still use the pre-iOS 14 widget. Please don’t remove this feature, none of the other apps I have tried using allow for this kind of detailed information. I religiously use this widget calendar every single day throughout the day as it helps me juggle my extremely busy schedule in veterinary school. Without this widget my work flow would be impacted a great deal. My second only ever wish would be that I could use the old style widget (or the newer style, but with expanded, detailed schedule info) on my M1 Mac now that these macs are capable of downloading iPhone/iPad apps! Thank you so much!!!
Since iOS 14 the new widget for calendar doesn’t add much, if anything, to Apple’s own widget. The old one was interactive and super useful, but seems to have gone now in favor of the limited iOS 14 style widget. I’ll give a solid 5 stars again soon as they give us at least have to option to still choose the old widget!
I was just as frustrated as many of the reviewers, but after uninstalling and reinstalling the app, the ability to see the old school type of widget showed up again. I think it has something to do with whether an update of the app happens. Hopefully the developer can fix this, otherwise, I’ll just uninstall and reinstall after every update.
I don’t know if I’m just doing it wrong, but this is nothing like I thought it was. It doesn’t look at all like the pictures and the only useful option is the d-day option, but it’s so frustrating to use. Please make it so you can reorder the d-day events. And I wish the events already in your calendar would show up as d-day events too, so you can have all of them listed instead of having to use the calendar view which doesn’t tell you anything about upcoming events unless it’s the same day. Especially disappointed since I paid for this and I feel like I got nothing I wanted.
Thank goodness it is still possible to keep the classic one in the Today view ! It’s not easy to find out to put it back again ( iPhone and iPad must be rebooted to do so ). I really do not like this widget for iOS14 , definitely not as good as the classic. I was afraid I’d have to delete it completely and then found how to add it back in Today’s view. Please keep it that way 🙏🏻
Edit: The developer re-added the original widget, you have to restart your phone for this to take effect. Thank you.Previous review:I’m really sorry to leave a one star review, I promise I’ll change it as soon as it’s fixed but with the iOS 14 update you just removed the only thing that made this widget stand out above any other: the clean, interactive calendar-only design that you can click through and see events at a glance. The iOS 14 widget remake is far, far, far inferior to this, it doesn’t even show individual days and is not interactive at all. Please re-enable the old monthly calendar interactive widget style otherwise this app doesn’t stand out at all.Prior to this update, I’ve gotta say that this is by far the best looking, most simple and clean calendar I could find. It was awesome having the interactive widget only a right-swipe away. I hope it gets reverted.
