5 star app & suggestions

This a an amazing app for those in love with traveling! I absolutely love the new features that add areas of individual countries as well! Thank you for making such an easy and efficient app to track ALL travel progresses!I would love to see those regions of the country that I’ve been to shaded though. Once you select the states/regions, the individual country stays gray :/ would love some color to show/visualize that progress!

I WANTED to like it!

I wanted to like it, but too frequently, I click on the App and Its prompting me to re-enter everything: where I've travelled, where I live and desired destinations ... ALL OVER AGAIN!!! Soooooo frustrating! And quite frankly, it doesn't DO ALL that much!!! You choose the countries, the states, if you live in the US, some color selections and that's it!!!! That's all you have to input!!! So, Why can't it retain that little information???? And in return it displays where you've been displayed on a world map, the percentage of the world you've seen and where you rank amongst other users. So you know want to know where this APP Ranks??? A (2)!!! Visiting new destinations is supposed to be exciting! How is that reflected in this App? What is the point if you're more frustrated using this app than going through TSA!

Works fine without Upgrades

So it good with the countries. I was trying to update cities I been and lived and it would let me add. It only updates countries. It also isn’t user friendly. I have to re-teach myself how to reset the city I currently live (still not accurate on my app). Also, something I can get over if the city updates work, is it has plenty of Territories as separate counties which love, but it picks and chooses which ones (such as Canadian territories not being separated from the country) and it also doesn’t acknowledge all disputed territory very well. For example Morocco on it’s map has territory that isn’t part of it, it is UN accurate, but if your going UN accurate, then a territories shouldn’t be separate. So Puerto Rico is part of the United States and not independent. I do prefer that it separates it. But I am annoyed that it picks and chooses for you who owns what land. To be honest I wouldn’t have even cared about most of this if the upgrades I paid for actually worked.

Cities purchase not worth it

Purchased cities upgrade. Not worth it. So many cities missing. - who created this and what map of city names were they using? Cities feature doesn’t have search you just scroll through large list for the entire country which can be confusing because you don’t know which state the city belongs to if there are duplicate states with same city name. Like I said….. so many cities missing from the list it makes this feature useless. If you can’t track your actual full progress why track at all?

Good idea but…

This is a good app and I even paid to remove ads and to unlock all the features. HOWEVER, it needs to give more control to the user. They collect so much of your personal information. It’s like either use it and let us collect these information, or leave it. Also, I was forced to sign up to their newsletter. It said I can withdraw from their newsletter at anytime but there is no option for that in the map. I paid for the premium features but you know what? Don’t. None of the premium features were worth it. Let me start off by cities. You can type and choose the cities that you’ve been to and cities that you want to visit. But that is it. You can’t even see a list of those cities that you want to visit, let alone a map of it. Looks like they made it easy for them to collect our information. Inspiration doesn’t have anything. It said it would show travel photos. The only photo it shows is the thumbnail when you select from want/been. If you do download this app, please do go to privacy section and read the “What personal information do we collect?” Section. So far, what a waste of money it has been. If it gets improved, I will update my review.

Some good features

The interface of this app is pretty easy to use, and I like that you can customize the colors you use for the map. I haven’t paid for any of the features, so I can only unlock the regions for the US and Canada. My biggest issue is that you can only have one country/state selected as the place where you live. I’m in the military and have lived all over the world, so I would like to be able to see that, rather than having those places listed as having visited. It would also be nice to be able to view the states within a country as a map, not just as a list.

Good app

I really like the detail that this app goes into. Not only do they include the regions of the US but also regions in other countries like France, Italy, etc. However, this app includes places that are not even inhabited and near impossible to get to. For example, Bouvet Island, which is near Antarctica and has nothing on it. Not only that but they also include these tiny islands that are part of other countries like the islands that are off of Sweden and Finland as separate from the rest of the country.I wish the app would filter out these places or incorporate it with the main country they belong to because there is no way I’m gonna be able to visit every tiny island.

Could’ve been the perfect app, but it’s not

I downloaded the app because it also has the list of places, food, capitals, parks, etc. Unfortunately, the app is missing the option to filter searches. When searching for cities in the US, it shows a list of all the cities in alphabetical order and not by state - it would’ve been convenient to filter the cities by state in addition to having a search. Also, when selecting the destinations visited under the list tab, it does not filter lista by “been” or “want to visit”.

Good app

Just started using this app now that I’m starting to travel more and I really like it so far but it would be great if it had a pin function for specific cities you’ve visited (besides where you live) and maybe a few other activity options/prompts though I suppose those are things you could add to notes I think at least the pins could be nice visually Anyways other than that five stars

Essential travel app

Every traveler should have this app to track countries visited. I’ve been using it for a few years now and seen it progress in features and usability. I love the latest enhancements, particularly new countries with states. But there are additional enhancements that I’d like the developers to consider. Here are my top 3: 1. Small countries are really hard to see on the map right now. Can you make it easier? For example, Liechtenstein gets lost between all of the states. And Pitcairn is nearly impossible, at least for me, to find without using the search feature. 2. Dates of visit would be nice 3. Ability to export the list to a spreadsheet. Bugs? There are a couple but nothing really significant, e.g. South Georgia and South Sandwich are not in Europe. There may have been a conversion bug as my list of countries went from 60 to 58. I reviewed and updated it and it’s now back to 60.Overall, a great app, worthy of of 5 stars!
