Good Game
I’ve had this game more than a year. A couple of times I’ve had to wait for more levels to be uploaded because I finished them all. I suppose that’s why now, the game is the way it is…Levels last longer than they should, the balls do not shoot out as fast as you tap your screen, I no longer have the option of getting a “free rewind,” when I lose, the speed of the line of marbles come out way too fast, some levels I don’t even get one of those crystal ball things to blast a bunch of balls at once, I stopped getting boosters when I beat a bunch of levels, and sometimes it seems as if the game makes it so that you lose on purpose. It is what it is, so I just stop playing for a while and all of a sudden the level that was impossible to beat, is doable. It’s a “free” game and for what it’s worth, it’s pretty good and I play when I need something mundane to do.
Game Glitches
Since the latest update my game keeps freezing up. It either freezes on the homepage and I can’t tap anything, not even to start a level, or it lets me start a level but won’t let me shoot any marbles, tap boosters, or even exit the level. In the past when this has happened (before recent update), it would reset after I shutdown the app and restarted, but lately no amount of restarting the app has fixed it. Yesterday, it took a couple of hours before it finally just started working again. Today, it’s doing it again and hasn’t started working again yet. Every time I try to start a level and it’s frozen and I have to close out the app it uses a life. The app is literally useless at the moment. Cannot play at all. It’s completely unresponsive
Fun game but too many events
I like the game but there are constantly like 3 events or whatever happening so every time I try I open the game I have to tap through at least 10 different pop ups walking me through the various levels and prizes and blahblahblah and I just want to play the game. There’s no way to just quickly skip through all the info pop ups. I’d play a lot more often if there were just like a zen mode or just some separate game mode from the whole “journey.”Also if there were more options for ads instead of paying gold bars. I can never earn the gold bars, once I’ve spent them I have to pay money to get more. The only time I can watch a video instead is once per day to keep going in the level. If it were five times per day or once per level that would be more understandable but this is so limited, I don’t want to spend a bunch of money just to play more than a little bit.
Spend money
This app is a lot of fun, but most of the games like this will give you more points by eliminating the marbles quickly, however not in this game. With this game, the longer you play a level, the more points you get. It’s like you have to position marbles of different colors in different places to prolong your game play. To get 2+ stars, you must use your your extra help, which cost money. I think this game has cost me more money then any other game. I’ve decided to delete the app & find one that plays better. You should get more points for eliminating the marbles faster, not use all your extra bonuses at the bottom of the screen to give you more time to play longer to get the points. I’m on level 500+, and my points always come in with 1/2 the amount of points then everyone else & 1 star. Not worth my money!!!! 😕
No freebies here
This is the smoothest to play marble game; no jerky motion and the puzzles can be challenging. The gathering ‘potion’ to build magical gardens is childish and poor graphics. I’d like this game without the irritations of potions, tapping leaves, etc. Just give us a good marble game without the childish interruption. Until recently this game would give you a ‘freebie’ where you couldn’t rewind the marbles 50% to give you a chance on the harder boards, but they’ve now taken that away so you will spend more money - and trust me, you will get frustrated and spend money to get over some of these boards. Please, just take away the crap, give us an occasional freebie, and make it a really good game. I can’t take much more potion and leaf interruptions. Or make another marble game without making me build my magical, lol, village.
Inconsistent and slow shooting
I remember Zuma back in the day and this is the same. Ish. There’s a superfluous garden thing. The problems are that the shooter is slow so you can’t keep up so well because things have changed by the time your ball is sent. It also is inconsistent on if it will activate the power up (slow, reverse, etc). And sometimes it will let the balls get deep into the mouth without dying and sometimes when it isn’t connected it will kill you off immediately. It won’t snap back if you hit a place for that or initiate a power up. I’m pretty sure Zuma let you save yourself that way. But I’m disappointed every time.—update—Dropped to 2 stars and I’m done. I worked through an event SO HARD and completed it only to win… nothing? I don’t think anything came of it. This plus the inability to complete levels without 18 gold and I hit a reverse only for it to back up for a half second and continue. It’s rigged against us. Too slow and inconsistent play.
I know I’m not alone
This game is great. I use it as my mental break when working from home. The only problem it as you advance it difficult to get more than 1 star even when I make gap shots and make matches fast. Also as I advance the timed hard levels are longer but it does not seem to follow the standard clock. The timer in the game goes very slow. So if I expect the timed level to last three or four minutes it actually takes longer Bc the game clock is so slow. This also makes it difficult to pass the timed levels Bc there is no end in sight. There are barely any special balls like stop or reverse. Matching alone doesn’t fit with the speed of the ball and 4 long minutes. I refuse to spend real money. If it continues as is. I will definitely delete this app in the near future. Adding to my previous review. I continued playing the game and decided today to buy extra gold to keep playing a hard level. The game started and I couldn’t match anything so the balls just ran it and the screen is still stuck. I even made a video. If I couldn’t use the gold to finish the level. I want a refund! When I refreshed the app I lost 12 gold bars and I wasn’t even able to finish the level.
Bogus
Initially, I loved this game. Now, it seems they intentionally get you to lose. I was in first place, haven beaten many level to acquire a lot of diamonds during a challenge, all of a sudden, my levels stopped collecting diamonds & soooo many people were able to beat my score. No matter how many levels I kept playing, it stopped adding diamonds to my score. Also, when I tap to shoot the balls, sometimes it won’t shoot AT ALL. I’ve won a level before & the game just stopped. I thought my phone may have froze, so I moved my finger across the screen, & the ballshooter bug was moving around still. Then it changed screens, going back to menu, & showing me that I didn’t beat the level when I did, AND still took my boosters that I used to beat it though. The timeframes on the items you renovate in your forest are WAY too long. Game definitely needs some fixing.
Fun but Frustrating
It’s getting really old when I can SEE the game manipulating my play so I lose. Hard levels are impossible for DAYS sometimes until it figures out I’m not going to pay to pass it, and sometimes normal levels play like hard levels and take days as well. It’s near impossible to open any eggs or finish any challenges because you are stopped short and held unless you pay for gold or power-ups. (Ps - 20 levels to open an egg??? With these mechanics??? Come on man.) Marbles change post shooting sometimes, you’ll hit something great and then “nope, those are ice or gum now haha”, shooting/switching is inconsistent, you’ll hit a reverse and it will only work for 2 seconds or only go back slightly, and the way the game CLEARLY doesn’t give you the color you need for so long so you’ll fail are extremely noticeable and unbelievably frustrating. I know it’s a free game with optional purchases, but can you guys just at least try and make it less obvious???
Tone Down Your Game
I started out playing this game and I really enjoyed it. However, it needs to be toned down quite a bit. The random power balls don’t show up very often, and when they do the random colored balls you get never give you the color to match to get. The power crystal takes way too long to charge. Some of the levels are slow close together without power ups you can’t get passed them. Some levels have power balls that when matched don’t activate like they are supposed to. Some levels are so difficult that it takes days, weeks, and sometimes months to get past even with power ups. I have been on the same level for the past month, and have went through 4 or 5 power ups as well as rewinding still not passed it. Not saying time it down to where it isn’t fun just tone it down some. I like a challenge, and enjoy trying to figure out a way to get through the challenge. However, some levels (including your holiday levels) are so stressful that most people would leave the game.
