It does it’s job—ads can be pesky
I’m very forgetful in the morning so when I turn off the alarm I only choose ‘I’m awake’ and get on with my day. The alarm automatically sets the volume to its highest setting, which includes advertising. The next time I pick up my phone, it blasts the audio from a random ad, but this can be preventable if you close out of the application.
A GREAT app that has helped me a lot!
Hello! I have never written a review before, but since this app has helped me out so much this past year, I couldn’t help but to send a review in. About 9 months ago when my country was in lockdown because of COVID, I started working on trying to become more productive and effective in life. One of the routines that I started on, was waking up at 6:00 to read the Bible, pray and workout. And from the routine, I was on the lookout for alarm apps that played music of choice, because a regular alarm is too boring. But through the search, I could only find one out of two apps; either apps that costs, or apps that are so bad that their not even worth downloading. Finally after a few days, I found this app. And after 9 months, I have used this app nearly every single day, and I always love changing around the songs and waking up with something new. I know this was way too long to be an “app review”, but I just want to say to the producers of this app: THANK YOU for helping me like this. Through your simple little app, you have made me more discipline, productive, and last but not least, come closer to the Lord! Please keep on the AMAZING work!!!
The app is amazing but...
I downloaded this app a while ago and what happened was I set the alarm added the little music video for the alarm and I just turn my phone off then it doesn’t wake me up I tried again leaving my phone on it worked fine but my phone died I would love it if I could turn my phone off so it doesn’t die and the alarm doesn’t wake me up still I would 95.9 recommend
Please help me fix this
I don’t know if I’m using this app wrong but I wanted to wake up at 6 am to the song “what did I miss” from Hamilton. To make the alarm go off it needs to be plugged in and face down, which I feel is a bit much considering I don’t have an outlet in my room. I did as it said and even slept in the living room so I would have an outlet, but it never went off. I am not a heavy sleeper and wake to the smallest sounds so I know I didn’t sleep through it. I NEEDED to wake up at 6 am all week because I am in a play and in 4 days we were going to have opening night. Every day that week we were going to have an early morning rehearsal. Opening night is around the corner and if I can’t fix this tonight I’m getting a different app. Please tell me how to fix this.Thanks
A perfect alarm (before the new update)
Used the app for almost 365 nights since about August 2020 and the thing works great as it says it is supposed to. Critically, the new update seems to cancel the alarm upon receiving any sort of notification from anything else and either the backup alarm, which is the generic iPhone alarm, or no alarm at all and kicks you out of the app. I’ve had this happen every night over the past two weeks since the update arrived, never had this happen in the last 20 months I’ve used this.Until this is fixed, The app does not work unless you turn off all notifications (sounds,banners, etc) for every other app you have.
It’s ok
I really do like the app because I can play songs to wake me up, but I personally don’t like that the app constantly crashes and glitches, making my phone overheat. I also think that they should allow users of the app to be able to have the alarm set while also being able to do other things that aren’t in the app. I suggest that they should try emulating the alarm on iPhones because we can set the alarm and won’t have to airy about it not turning on because we are doing something else. Overall it’s pretty good, but it can always be improved upon. Also I think that the app should just be for waking up, but for any sort of alarms, like going to bed or as a personalized alarm of some sort. Plus they should add a stopwatch and timer for the app too!! If you cannot read this, it’s because my phone just glitched from the app and I’m typing but none of the letters are showing up, so sorry about that.
Waking up is actually a nice experience
I love this app, i’ve used it for 2 years now. My favorite thing is I can pick a music video the night before and wake up to it. I don’t dread my alarm or hit snooze anymore and it makes for nice background sound as i get ready for the day. Sometimes I’ll even put a music video in another language so i’m more motivated to wake up and read the captions so I can understand the lyrics. This app has really increased the quality of my daysMy only thing is sometimes I wish it showed what time i set my alarm for along with how many hours i have left to sleep. Also recently, for some reason my alarm has not been working even though i place my phone face down. it seems to think i closed the app unfortunately. I hope this is fixed soon because no alarm app can replace this one.
BEST ALARM CLOCK APP EVER!
I hardly ever write reviews but I really wanted to for this one! I’m a heavy sleeper and definitely not a morning person. However, I could become one considering I love waking up to some of my favorite songs bc then I start singing along. Some of the other alarm clock apps would wake me up but I’d hit snooze and go back to sleep. This one is different I actually wake up by walking around listening to the entire song. Perfect for anyone who is a heavy sleeper or not a morning/night person (depending on which shift you work)!!
Have set it the day before but it doesn’t work
I hit start alarm the day before and go to other apps and it hasn’t worked. The alarm doesn’t show up in the history that it went off and the instructions on how it is supposed to work aren’t clear. I paid to remove ads and it seems like for nothing. Are you supposed to set it and leave the phone alone? Most alarms work in the background but this isn’t doing anything.
Stopped working...
The app worked perfectly the first night, but recently it has been closing itself. I’m seeing a lot of similar reviews. DO NOT RELY ON THIS TO WAKE YOU UP. The past few nights, I will set the alarm, plug my phone in, turn off Low Power Mode, turn on Do Not Disturb (I thought maybe notifications was interfering), make sure that Auto Lock is off, and leave my phone face down. I woke up on my own and realized it was an hour and a half after my expected alarm. Went to check my phone and the app was not even open and my alarm that I had set was no longer there. ‘Tis a shame. This has happened the past few nights I’ve tried it. Seriously, do not rely on this to wake up, I missed a very important event for putting my faith in this app’s ability to function and deliver what it promises.
