Some glitches, bare bones stuff
This service and app are really bare bones. Here’s what you get: get access to data and a super basic text and calling service for an affordable price. Now maaaybe I’ve had more glitches than others because I have an unlocked GSM iPhone as opposed to an unlocked CDMA phone. Just a hunch I have, since GSM compatibility is new for this service. The data works just fine, but I’ve experienced two major glitches so far. If my screen locks while I’m on a call (which I have to do through this app), the call quasi-drops where it still shows I’m connected, but I cannot hear anything from the other end. Additionally, my voicemails will not delete. If I delete them, they come back. I tried getting a fix from customer support (who are all helpful!), but to no avail. Yikes. Overall, I’m simply content with this bare bones stuff until I can afford a better network.

ITs up to me to tell you that this is a great app with great potential ... I haven’t gotten it to work yet .... but then my phone is still on its way... i ordered a new device that comes with $10 text calls and 1 gig... i will update when i know more.. what I DO know is that the app seems to have good functionality.. it just requires that first set up purchase ... so that you have an actual phone number set..Biggest gripe is that i bought this so I can call and text from ALL devises as 1 number.. and my iPad displays the phone SIDEWAYS... wish it would auto rotate
I really wanted to like it
I really wanted to like this. The only thing that worked with no issues was the text messages. Data was slower than molasses - and this is smack dab in the middle of a good coverage area. Calls on WiFi were barely functional. Calls off of WiFi were hit or miss if either party would be heard. The thing that got me though, was when I was at a store at the edge of town and wanted to call a different store to check if they had something I needed. There was absolutely no connection. If I was a couple miles outside of the fairly major city, I’d be annoyed but would understand. This wasn’t workable. I am now back with TING - a Sprint mvno.
Good service bad , horrible, management stay away
I tried them and they are good however was supposed to be billed on the 7th of December but I deleted the App and thought I’m done they kept trying to charge me until the 20th even though I’m not using I said okay I didn’t follow the right steps after a week or so I tried to use it and couldn’t tried to call Friday to Sunday no answer , Twitter, Instagram no answer this morning she said we can’t refund u I said don’t refund me give me the service the 5gb I paid for no sorry and hang upon me I swear I was gonna go them but the idiots don’t know how to treat customers and they encourage you to dispute with the bank maybe it’s a money grab company and the end will be real unreal
great for cellular data on my iphone
UNREAL for $10 per month is a great way to put cellular data on my iphone (via the AT&T network) when away from my home wifi. just pop the sim card in and you have service. and for $10 per month, that super affordable for me. that’s my main purpose in having UNREAL on my iphone. and yes can make the occasional phone call, but really who makes real cell calls nowadays? okay so it’s like once a week/month cell calls for me, so the voip UNREAL calls are okay when needed. and they do sound like real cell calls to me with hardly any lag. but the main purpose for having UNREAL on my iphone is to have real working cellular data (via AT&T) in order to have my iphone do its thing particularly when not on my home wifi. thanks UNREAL.
Gross money grabbing thieves
To this date I wonder why I ever made the switch to Unreal. If you have a CDMA phone then you’re good, but if you have a GSM phone like I do you’re in for one hell of a nightmare.They require an app to work, and this app would not receive or make calls unless you’re on wifi or data. It means you have to turn on data all the time when you’re not at home, and even then I would miss a lot of calls. It got so bad that some of my friends are not able to reach me because my phone would not ring. Every time you miss a call they would tell you you missed one, but actually being able to receive calls is a 50/50, since the majority of time the phone would stay silent. If you’re here to save money like I once thought I would, stay away. The hassle is 100% not worth it.

I am a new customer and am in my free trial. I would like to say that I really am happy with the price and the convenience of having unrealmobile service. I rated 5stars just for that alone. I am, however, have been having multiple of an issue with it dropping phone calls and the network lagging or saying I have no service. I had to redo the apn settings multiple times for it to say registered and getting to use my device/service. How do I get it to stop doing that and not have to go through the whole process over and over again?
If on gsm don’t join!
Do not join this service until they are ready, they are clearly not there. I had an unlocked iPhone on att and tried unreal mobile to save money. I figured same network no problem. I was wrong. The process to join is not easy. I had to make many calls to customer service. One had me on hold for 55 minutes, two for over 15. This would not be necessary except they don’t answer email help requests and the online system is very basic. Finally after getting started, after three days, the native iPhone calling and iMessage apps don’t work. That is the design of the system. Your iPhone won’t do any of the automatic things you are used to. No more Siri directed calls. No more easy connection for sending photos. All gone!I’m switching back.Update: THIS IS NOT A PHONE SERVICE. Unreal is a data service with VOIP. This means that if you have less than three bars on an iPhone you cannot make calls. They either will not go through or be choppy. Get used to “can you hear me now”UNREAL WILL TAKE YOUR PHONE NUMBER and make it a classification that other carriers see as a landline. Several companies said they could not transfer my number. I could switch but I would loose my number. Unreal said this was the case and I could find a company to accept my number. I finally did. It will take consumers cellular two days to port my number, but they will do it. GOOD RIDDANCE UNREAL MOBILE!
Great product at an awesome price
I bought an UNREAL sim starter pack while browsing prepaid SIM cards at Target and figured, why not? For $20 you get 3 months of unlimited talk and text and unlimited 2G data with 1GB of 4G LTE. That’s by far the cheapest deal I’ve found. The service is excellent too. I have an iPhone 7 Plus and haven’t had any issues with calls or texts going through. Am considering paying for one of the larger data packages as those are reasonably priced as well, and having tried the service and been happy with it, there’s really no downside. UNREAL is a quality provider and plan to recommend to my friends and family.
What a bargain
I’ve been using this app for the last 2 1/2 years, there were some glitches, sometimes it just didn’t work well, however with the latest update on the APN this app has worked flawlessly. I am currently using on iPad Pro, unreal mobile has been a pleasure. You cannot beat the price and coverage, it has a better coverage than some of the top name cellular brand. I live in Saint George area and going to Las Vegas this worked flawlessly.
