Scaled-Up Interface Degrades Visual Aesthetic

Graphic enhancements on the planes and scenery are great, but the oversized clearance / takeoff / approach buttons take up too much screen real estate, require more scrolling to see what’s required to accomplish, and night views are difficult to see because of the glare from the airline logo-squares. Plus, the approach / departure chase cameras have been hobbled so only close proximities to the airport are viewable. (Perhaps a switch-selectable interface in the Preferences? Much better solution.)

Amazing Game with possible improvements

Overall, this is a fantastic game. I’ve put maybe 8+ hours into the game so far and have a few suggestions that would make this a 5 star game in my opinion:Reduce motion setting: from the tower view, clicking a plane would shift the screen directly to the aircraft rather than scroll the screen, and the camera no longer follows the aircraft if the setting is enabled. Aircraft views and camera views do not need this setting, just the tower.Similarly, the screen still moves underneath the radar display, and the stationary radar with the moving background is slightly disorienting. A stationary background with the radar foreground will do just fine.The ability to monitor wind and change active runways in-game would be interesting, even if it’s automated for an extra challenge.A cancel takeoff clearance / abort takeoff button should be implemented. I’ve caused an accident from clearing an aircraft for takeoff that I meant to line-up and wait on.I’d like to be able to send arriving aircraft to currently-occupied gates that I know are about to become vacant. Currently, gates only become available once the aircraft receives taxi clearance.The ability to clear aircraft to cross an active runway before they come to a stop at the runwayFinally, aircraft checking in with the controller after crossing a runway is redundant in a single player game and clogs up the frequency

The new update is pretty but unplayable

I have wasted hours and hours on this game. I love it. So I go in after a few months off and see it’s been completely rewritten and looks amazing. I was very excited, then I played it and realized I couldn’t play it anymore. I have everything unlocked and am very high levels on almost all airports. I haven’t spent a real dime on it so that shows how much I’ve played. By limiting the cameras the only way to play higher levels when things get crazy is the radar view which defeats the purpose of the nice new graphics. The tower view is useless because the tower junk is in the way. I would be happy to pay a fee for the game. I feel I have gotten enough use for it but to do a subscription service is stupid. Half the fun of the game are the planes and watching the ground crews etc. this is now not possible once you progress past the lower levels as there is too much going on fast to do anything but radar. It worked fine when you had an unobstructed camera from above the tower and some less extreme angles but $3.99 a week for the views we already had is pathetic. Sad but I guess it’s time to move on to world of airports and grind.

Guys do not update the game , the new version just is a mess in the quality…I don’t know why they just did this instead of increasing the quality and making the game more real…!

So Far...

So far the game is loading up just only when on a WiFi. LTE is Crashing every time. The improvements are about the same as the last update. I am happy to see the ATR-72’s come to the Detailed Aircraft. I was just a little disappointed that the ANA A380 Airbus (Hawaii Edition) did not make it the update but I’ll keep that on my wishlist. The new realistic airports should be fun to play. I am disappointed that there is no Free AR and I actually wouldn't mind paying a 1 Time cost but I am not interested in paying monthly, so I’ll have to skip that option. I was looking forward to Narita or Hanada International for the realistic airports so I will keep those on my wishlist as well. The only thing that needs fixing is the Extremely LOUD Taxiway Jet Noise. Yea, the Taxi Way Jet Noise is SO LOUD it overpowers the audio when other pilots call in. I have to jump to the Control Tower and by then I missed the call and I have to scroll down the Flight Plan to see who called me. So that needs fixing. I would also like to have different Cabin Attendance’s voices instead of the same female voice from Australia. So a few fixes and a few more options and were back up to 5 Stars.

Nice update

I love what they did with the graphics optimization update however, I’m starting to notice slight frame drops during gameplay that was never there prior to the update. If you could, please fix it when you can and add more planes and liveries in the next update .

Best Mobile ATC Game

If you want to experience the best air traffic control simulation on a mobile device, this is it. I’ve been playing this for a few years now, and I kinda stopped because it was hard to earn coins and unlock new gates to progress, but with the new update, it’s made it easier, so I’ve been playing a lot more. Previously, the graphics were OKAY, the plane quality was OKAY, but with the new updates, we have better graphics, and more realistic aircraft. Coins are easier to earn, and unlocking gates to progress through the levels is much easier than before. The most recent updates overhauls the graphics for the airport and the interface. Now, you’ll have an easier way to get to the airport radar, approach radar, and timetable, all in one menu. Terminal cameras are also added, and now, traffic is a lot of congested, so make sure you’re watching your planes!You probably will have to spend some money on coins to unlock more airports and airplanes, but it’s worth it, especially to support the developers here. After a long time on the App Store, they continued to make this game even better. The updates honestly surprised me, as I was expecting this game to be abandoned, but luckily that’s not the case! This game was already awesome, and it’s really exciting to see the developers still working on it and making it even better.

Concerned of future

Uatc while yes this is a fun game, the lack of updates is starting to get to people very quickly. I mean like not answering ur customers and not telling us what is going is not a good way to keep this app going. It also jus very unprofessional and rude. It’s frustrating when I gotta keep playing the same airports over and over and over again. Also there is dire need for new airlines and aircraft’s like immediately. It’s been far to long for this “update” or should I say, a half hardened update no offense. The last 2 updates have been very basic and the bear minimum was added. That shows in a bad way how lazy and careless u guys are. Im a follower on the Facebook page and I’ve even had to go as far as to say the game maybe abandoned. I hope that’s not the case because this game a lot of potential if u jus sat down and did some work! Unfortunately if u keep doing it this way the game WILL go bankrupt at some point and it will be to late to recover! I’m trying to help guys but ignoring customers is a huge red flag for developers and the future of the game/app. Cmon developers I’ve seen better! Let’s get to it!!!

No updates from developers

I have been playing this game since it came out. The latest update was well over a year ago and since then it has been super quiet from the developers. No updates to customers, no snippets, absolutely nothing. I’ve said it before and will say it again. Don’t expect anything above and beyond from these developers anymore. The last 3 updates have been half hardened with barely anything added. They are ruining the game and quickly. And what’s sad is this game had soooo much potential but now I look at a laugh because of how unrealistic some features are. The landings are horrible. At least make those realistic. Bumpy, smooth, hard, crosswind, etc. what’s even more annoying is that people say there is an update coming but by searching every official uatc website I’ve seen nothing, heard nothing and have not seen proof of any updates. So sad to see this game rotting away because the developers just don’t care
