Ads block the text and there is no option to remove them. Looking for another option.
DON’T DOWNLOAD THIS APP…… If you don’t like ads don’t get this one. I looked through this app before downloading on my iPad and didn’t see a indication that there are ads.I downloaded the app and opened it and the first row was empty in the display, while the others were filling in - yes - filling in - like loading from somewhere - Meanwhile the empty top row started popping up ads, then the bottom area where I need to slide my finger to close the app popped up ads, which meant it was hard for me to close the app (New to iPad gestures).
I’m not a person who worships the Constitution of 1789. I think we need a new one. I do think it has great language and should be studied carefully.
I installed them immediately deleted this App. I wanted a “pocket” copy of our Constitution, not a portable (and obnoxious) billboard for your advertisements. You got 2 stars only because I assumed that behind all those ads you did have the Constitution somewhere.
It appears that this is a poorly edited representation of our constitution. As was previously mentioned in another review from January 9th, Article II Section 4 is missing. How hard is it to copy a document “word for word”? Especially a document that holds as much power as our Constitution!Removal of the article regarding Impeachment speaks to the polarization and influence of the creators of this app and is a demonstration of just how easily history can be falsely rewritten. And for those of you that say this is a great app, well it’s not. There are better apps out there that are accurate and provide better information about our government and the people that represent us.
Easy to navigate and read
When I share from within the app it automatically defaults to Nigerian constitution even though I am in the USA constitution?
So I wanted to share this out to friends but it sent them the Nigerian Constitution instead of the US Constitution. This was from the “share” icon prominently featured on the app. Not sure why, but that’s what they got. We had a chuckle about it.
For examples Article 1: Section 3 is missing the language on how old you must be to serve in the Senate. Get these errors fixed or pull the app. People are being misinformed about the text if they read it and believe it to be correct and complete. At the very least provide a disclaimer as the first screen that communicates that it is a work in progress and the work of an amateur. No truly professionals organization with an error check process would have allowed so many errors to slip through. See other commenters for other errors.
Hope you’re not downloading this to actually read the constitution of the United States of America. You have about a 1 inch window to read and the other 90% of the screen is ads!!!!!!!Over and over and over. Crooks.
This application is for all you constitution geeks. I wanted something that was easier to navigate than other applications I've seen, had a real table of contents broken down by articles, sections and amendments, didn't treat the first ten amendments like one giant inseparable document, was searchable, and contained other related documents, ideas, and trivia like the Declaration of Independence, Gettysburg Address, The Virginia Plan, The Great Compromise, ratification dates, and anything else I could think of that floats in that new Constellation of Liberty the Framers were shooting for two centuries ago.
