Addictive and to the Point

No ads, in app purchases, and free...generally not something I want to mess with. This game though, even with the simple concept of “staying on the lines” and graphics don’t short change you. I was addicted early on, and immersed by the music sometimes feeling like I was the rat. Like many reviews the controls are sometimes tricky especially if playing the Hard “X” levels; I felt to be delaying some in those when I try to scurry. Replaying with the new/removed boundaries was fun I could just do what I had before. Hope there’s a part 2 or just another game by y’all soon. Thanks for a good game that’s wallet friendly.

I love this game - just a few issues

The game itself is amazing, something i’ve been looking for a long time. I love the overall feel and objective of the game. The colors are amazing and I really like the concept of hiding from the lights. However, the one reason that I took that star off was because of the roughness of the controls and how the mouse acts at the edge of a wall. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve had to restart because the mouse was stuck at the edge of the wall and just refused to move. I really love this game though, I just hope you patch these issues in a future update.

Great atmosphere!

Just started playing this game but so far I’m enjoying it a lot! It’s a simple concept: cross a room while avoiding being seen by surveillance cameras. While the task is basically simple it becomes more and more challenging as you progress through the rooms through the use of multiple cameras, cameras that move, obstacles in the room, etc. Even the story seems simple: escape from the lab. But you quickly get the sense that there’s more to it than that thanks to your mysterious guide who helps you via short instructions displayed on screens in some of the rooms. The backgrounds are basic and cloaked in darkness which is fitting for the setting. The music is wonderful and really sets the mood. There are no “bad guys” to defeat, just the ominous, cold light from the ever present cameras to avoid. The game does a great job of creating an anxiety inducing, heart pounding atmosphere similar to the thrill of being scared on an amusement park ride. I took off one star because it’s sometimes a little clunky hitting the right spot on the exit door to complete the level but it’s not enough to deter me from playing. No ads or in app purchases! Can’t wait to see how it unfolds!

Interesting concept

The game is great so far. I downloaded the game not expecting to enjoy it much but was surprised to see how wrong I was. Not only does the game well and run smoothly, it also has a very interesting concept that I haven’t seen before. I see a lot of potential with this game especially if you were to add an infinite level that was continuously randomized. The only issue I have is the controls are a little buggy at times and could use some smoothing up. Other then that great game and I’m looking forward to playing future updates.

Go codevember! (Even if it isn’t November anymore)

This is surprisingly good for a low budget game as the graphics are smooth. I think there is only problem for this game and that’s that the levels can be rather repetitive at times. But overall this isn’t an issue since you came here to get something to do. Thank you guys for the work you put into this game as I have yet to 100% it but I will add another 5 stars when I do! Good luck with Codevember!

Great concept, bad controls

The game has a great concept and is definitely a great idea. It’s pretty much a stealth puzzling adventure. The game has potential, but the controls are what detour me from it. I love a game that requires precision, stealth and timing. But bad controls do not mix with this genre. The movement response is slow, the turning is very wide, and it’s easy to get stuck on the edge of something with trying to cut around corners to minimize exposure to the light. Sometimes the rat goes slower than I expect it to, or slower than it should, like something is holding it back. I think the issue could be fixed if there was a toggle for fixing the control stick in one part of the screen, maybe with a little tweak to the turning speed/sharpness. Other than that the game is pretty good in concept and I id like to revisit it again if the controls scheme gets tweaked.

And honestly good game! Just one problem..

This is as the title says, an honestly good game so far this year! The story base fits the game perfectly and gives the gameplay a boost! The graphics are amazing, and the levels are just fun to play. I especially love the character chuck he is just so helpful in a hard level, and helps me get through it better knowing that I have a friend. But, the one problem to all these good things is the glitch with the controls, sometimes I’ll be playing like normal, and then my rat will get stuck on the smallest of things like a little plate on the floor, a wall, a chair, or even the actual floor sometimes. I hope that this glitch is an easy fix though, because like I stated before this is an honestly good game! Anyway, I hope this review is helpful towards the producers and the people looking into getting this game. Goodbye! ✌🏻

What An Enjoyable Game

I had a really good time playing this game. It is a fun, unique game with a great atmosphere. For a game with a seemingly simple premise, I felt as though the plot was good, and not to complicated. The controls can definitely be improved, but they are still good, and I have few complaints about them. The only problem that I had with the levels was that on ad one of the ones that would have been more complicated and fun, you were able to hug the wall closest to the camera, and stay hidden, easily beating the level. Other than that, I had a great time. Thanks!

Really enjoyed it!

The over all experience was great a few challenging levels you have to think about and get the hang of to clear. Really liked the premise of always hiding in the shadows. The controls are pretty bad but they didn’t kill me too often. Also just a thought but I was searching for like little collectibles or lore bits and in different desks and places that were kinda out of the way. Is that something you guys (the developers) want to or have thought of implementing just curious. Again great game really enjoyed it the atmosphere and level design was amazing wouldn’t mind playing through the game again if you guys (the developers) make a huge update to the story or levels.

Great game

So I’ll like to say the game is amazing as it challenges you, and your mind. I love how you have to use your head for the places to go and when to go. But I feel like the corners are a little hard to get past as I got stuck on a few. And I would love the game to be longer as I finished it in about a hour or less. Also I’m not sure if it’s me or not but the music makes me feel uncomfortable as I can say just a little more nervous. If that’s what you are hoping for with the music you got it. I just recommend something a little more “not scary” lol. But at the end of the day it’s a good game and I expect better games like this in the future.
