Not easy to cancel! Don’t download

It’s an alright app I guess (google translate much better) but I signed up for the free trial like multiple other apps have. Well ended up finding something better so I went to cancel this app and THEY HAVE A CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION BUTTON but i clicked on it and told them the reason was price and clicked next to be brought to the next screen where it kept asking me to purchase and not cancel where canceling wasn’t even an option! Restarted the app TWICE for it to finally tell me I have to cancel it from my apple account! Which is just absolutely asinine! Why have a button and it not work? I have also since been reading another review where they still ended up being charged even after canceling and it better not do that to me!

Yuck. In app purchases are insane

Wow. “Free to download” means you have to pay IMMEDIATELY after downloading. Gurl no- that is NOT how that should work.Response to the developer- “again, girl no- this is advertised as the free version. Take off “free to download” and be upfront that this is a subscription service only and not a free app. That is misleading. I’ll just continue to watch your rating go lower and lower since ya silly.

The worst

I got this app to try it out and ended up not liking it. I deleted it and ended the free trial but still got charged. If they charged me for the few days I had it I might understand but they charged me for a whole year. So now I am being forced to pay almost 70 dollars for an app I’m never going to use.

Useful for traveling

Photo and voice translation is very useful traveling around the world. It’s is fast because you don’t need to type what you want to say. I like it.

Fraud!!!

Beware! Even I cancelled it before the renewal date during free trial on App Store, they charged me for a dollar. I don’t know how! They are a fraud! Don’t dowload!Edit after their response:You are teaching me how to cancel a subscription??? I already did that before the trial dur date and after that you charged me for a dollar!But I already filed a complaint to the Apple store. No worries.

Didn’t work for my needs

I bought this to translate the characters on some red envelopes that I have. Intending to give them out as Christmas gifts and I didn’t want to use ones that says Happy Birthday or something similar. The app was not able to translate any of my envelopes. Some said “student”, and others said “chicken”. Not trusting these translations!

Scam

Trash, they scam you by showing exactly what you’re looking for on a “free” app, then providing the bare minimum of tools to use on it (none of which are what you were probably looking for) and then make you pay to use any of the actually useful functions of the app.

Need to cancel

I downloaded it because I needed a specific language for a student of mine to be able to communicate. It doesn’t have the audio translation for that language so I want to cancel due to not being able to use it. It has a cancel subscription link but then it goes to a page to be charged additionally. I read someone’s comment on here to cancel within Apple but I don’t know how to do that. I need assistance and there is no help.

Not free

I was looking for something that could translate a language in a picture, and “Photo Translate” is literally in the title of this app, so I gave it a try. I go straight to the photo feature, and it tells me that I need a subscription to use it? That’s absurd, especially since you have advertised it as part of the app for everyone to use.

Beware of 7 day trial

I signed up for the 7 day trial for travel, and when I got back, I tried to follow the workflow to cancel the subscription, but it only allows me the option to pay for a different subscription and you can’t actually cancel it. If you go into the cancellation page and don’t select an upgraded plan, it says that you still need to cancel your subscription and that the app won’t do it for you, and to go to your settings to cancel it (which is where I started)!!
